Hey Dirk-Diggler. I'm not saying that 5-10 minute sets are better then 15 minute sets. Im just going by my own experiance. With clamping I've made great girth gains with 15-20 minute sets but eventually over time, my EQ would start declining and my tunica would get tough even in the flaccid state from it, stopping any further gains.
After reading on chemical Penis Enlargement and studying the protocols of members that inject PGE-1/ caverject for 2 to 4 hour erections, it's stated that fibrosis and tissue toughening is less likely to happen since less blood flow is being cut off then with clamping. Also the pge-1 from the injection helps to weaken the tunica and help with remodeling to a larger size as the 2 to 4 hour erection puts forth internal pressure against the tunica to expand. Not to mention pge-1 has antinflammatory properties to help against fibrosis as well.
Alot of people, including my self can't afford pge-1/caverject erection injection drugs since it's expensive and requires a prescription. This is where clamping comes in as an alternitive and cheaper way to being erect/massively engorged for long periods of time. Hell clamping even takes you past your normal erection since more blood is being trapped in your penis causing more expansion then with a normal or chemically induced erection.
This is obviously something we want since the goal is to expand and enlarge the chambers and mainly the tunica but clamping is a way of staying erect/engorged through unnatural means and requires a constriction device to cut off more blood flow then a normal erection or chemically induced erection does. By doing this the penis will recieve less oxygenated nutrient enriched blood then a normal erection and this is where the danger comes about.
The extreme lack of oxygenated blood under such heavy internal pressure while clamped causes a trauma response which over time can leed to fibrosis/tissue toughening as a protection mechanism. This is bad because the stronger the tunica gets the harder it becomes to get further gains. It's basically your penis's way of telling you to back the fuck off. LOL. This is when we have to take those god awful deconditioning breaks which to me is a big waste of time in the journey to hungness.
Now for those of us that don't want to stick needles in our dicks or simply can't afford erection injection drugs, clamping and pumping is the best thing we got as far as staying erect for extended periods of time. So my opinion on this is with clamping, is to trap massive amounts of blood to cause huge expansion in the tunica but at the same time cause as little oxgyen starvation as possible in the penis to avoid that tissue hardening response. This is why I'm now favoring shorter sets over longer sets.
Letting our dick breath is extremely important because our penis thrives on fresh nutrient rich oxgyenated blood. Especially under heavy internal pressure like full erect clamping. Since clamping causes the exact opposite of this but still does a great job at mimicing a prolonged ED injection drug based engorgement, clamping is perfect for members that would jump off a bridge before sticking a needle in there dicks or just can't afford it.
So to sum my opinion up, staying clamped while 100% erect should be done with the minimum time it takes to get the job done. So if you're going for 1 hr of total clamped time it's going to take longer to accomplish with 5 to 10 minute sets then with 15 to 20 minute sets. It may take longer and be a pain in the ass to get your total clamped time in for the day but in the end I think it's worth it.
I'd rather do it that way and avoid having to waste time with a decondition break then the more convenient way of clamping.
Keep in mind that with pumping I thinking longer sets are fine because it's vaccuum force that's drawing more blood in the penis with the aid of your normal erection if you go in the tube already erect which is important in my book. Blood circulation is still better while pumping then with clamping so longer times like 15 to 20 minutes are ok in my book. 20 minute hanging sets are ok in my opinion too.
