When you stretch up, does that mean straight up towards the ceiling or against your abs?
I just started the newbie guide tonight. Everything seems to have gone okay. My only concern is about a turkeyneck(?) or something like that? I read about it on the boards a while back when I first found this site, but don't remember what it was/what causes it/how to fix it. On that note though, are there any common deformations? Do they go away over time? Also, are kegels important for gaining? I've been doing kegels off and on for about 3 years, but definately not every day. I did them every day for a long time until I got to a point that I wasn't noticing any improvements in performance (and don't feel I need any now). But if they play a role in gaining, I'll do them every day again. Right now I'm right at about 7 (erm, erect and not pushing down against the bone) but I feel small when I look at myself. I wan't to gain about 1 to 1.5 inches length and 1.5 to 2 inches in girth really just to boost my confidence.
