Here's something I just posted on Penis EnlargementGym forum.
"I'll give you some anecdotal evidence:
When I was pumping, I would tie off with a bathrobe cord (like a cock ring) then go to sleep. I always wake up numerous times throughout the night to urinate, so it wasn't a problem for me. I also gradually increased the amount of time being tied off (starting at half an hour) until it was all night (8 hours).
The result was I would keep my pump all night. In fact, the pump would increase. I'd go to bed with a +0.75" temporary pump in EG and wake up with a +1.5" temporary EG pump. Within two months of doing this, I had gained close to 0.4" EG, which I still have to this day.
I find it amazing that I have a thicker penis still from some exercises that I did in February and March. It really made me believe in Penis Enlargement and kept me going strong.
I really feel tying off immediately after my pumping + jelqing routine helped me lock in those gains. Something about healing in an expanded state (for girth) or stretched state (for length) really makes sense to me. However, I monitored my penis every couple hours and made sure there was no bad pain.
My record temporary gain was when I measured close to 7.5" EG (from 5.5" - 5.75" at the time). It really was amazing. The idea that I could do an exercise to get this hilarious temporary girth that lasted 10 hours was amazing to me.
Then, I realized pumping can create problems for length gaining. I had a chat with a doctor about it and his initial advice got me back on length work. Then, I read tons of theories on these forums that supported his advice. Also, I learned that too much girth work could cut short your total possible length gains.
I look at it this way: length is the bitch to gain. There are no exercises that can give you a temporary 1" of EL. So, it's best to just put in the time and work and get to a longer length. Then, at that time, I can go back to my pumping + jelqing + tying off routine and get my 1.5" of temporary EG, only this time it will be on a penis that is 1.5" longer. Worst case scenario - I have to do a 20-60 min. girth routine before sex to have a large girth, until my girth gains start to become permanent.
I also believe girth should by cycled - in other words, there should be "decon" breaks. Length, I'm not so sure, based on Bib's theory. I look at it this way: I plateaued once I hit 5.75"-5.8" EG (from 5.4"). I could get to 6" EG 24 hours later, but if I did not do my routine, it would shrink back down to 5.75" EG.
So now, 8 months later, I am still at 5.75" EG. Maybe if I were to do the same girth routine I had been doing, I could get up to 6" EG before I plateau, making my permanent girth 6" EG. Then take another couple month break, staying at 6" EG. Then do the cycle again. If the total gains from that routine are the same, it shouldn't matter what the starting size is. In theory, a .25" EG gain should be seen every 2 months, then a plateau.
Maybe go back to some length work, or EQ work in that time. Or just enjoy the new size. Make sure it doesn't shrink any. I always jelq, so that probably helps cement it.
What I'm trying to say is maybe girth can be looked at something that is increased in increments, as opposed to a long term routine like length work. I don't see why it wouldn't work in my case, but I have yet to try it out and find out for sure.
The key is getting that length. Then cement it. At that point, you are golden. The hard work is done. Girth work is much more fun. And if my theory holds weight, only has to be done 2-3 months at a time, with significant breaks in between."
