Hey mike what kind of wrap are you using? Are you starting the wrap one inch below the coronal ridge and then pulling your skin out as far as possible while wrapping until you get to the extreme base?

I tried using Thera band but I find using a bandage wrap much better. I'm currently hanging 20 lbs with it. I've learnt that it is best for me to wrap tighter at the base and loser near my nob end. That way when I attach the hanger it slips over the internals bringing my foreskin covered with the wrap, over my nob. I always attach it a couple inches or more away from the coronal ridge as I've found it less painful to do it this way.
 
Ya I'm using 8 inches of t-shirt material underneath and 15 inches of theraband on top, both 2 inches wide. When I hung before, I used the t-shirt material but for the top wrap I used a self-adhesive bandage wrap and I had no problem wrapping, but I did sustain an injury to my glans from over tightening. I don't think the wrap was what got me the injury. I just wanted to do everything by the book this time but if I keep having trouble with the theraband, I will go back to the self-adhesive bandage wrap on top.

My only concern is the self-adhesive bandage wrap is extremely thin compared to theraband. I like theraband's thickness, but I don't like it's rigidness and how slippery it is. I"m finding I have to wrap tight to keep it from slipping over my head at just 2.5lbs. Hopefully I'll get better at it.

Take your time to understand the wrapping process.
It might really seem like a pain in the ass. Lots of trying... and little result.
There is no shame in spending lots of time that you'll need for this. It is quite important.
But when you figure it out you'll have a solid foundation.
Don't give up on hanging!!!

How is BTC compared with SD? (I like BTC more, because I'm lazy :P and feel it better)
 
Thanks Cobra. Definitely not giving up on hanging. I see it as my only chance to gain any real length.

BTC gives a better stretch than SD for me. SD standing I would need much more weight than BTC seated. Although I like SD standing because I can play guitar while I'm doing a set, BTC I can't really do much, until I get used to the awkward angle. BTC is going to be my target angle until I stop gaining at that angle. Could very well take me well over a year.

RIght now I'm only using 2.5 lbs so I get used to the idea of hanging and attachment point conditioning. Soon I will start hanging for skin stretch, then move onto hanging for ligs with more weight.

Had some twisting issues before when hanging BTC. Followed cg1 advise on this and pulse pushed. There is always some twisting... but it dramatically improved.

I am finding this a problem too, so I just rest my shaft between my left and right testicles and position the bottom of the hanger so that it is kept straight by my ass crack. I am sure this probably causes friction and lessens the force, but once I get to real weight, it won't make a difference.

Which hanger are you using? The regular bib?
