Definitely the position. I've noted before that injecting lower seems to give less of a response, most likely due to more "wash out". I said before that if I inject low I'll use more but I don't have much to spare at the moment so I was hoping it wouldn't wash out so much.
As far as units go, I seem to get the same response with 20 units as I do with 24, same or better. I think there are a lot of factors involved. I think the main factor is how good I'm feeling in general. I train with weights so my body is constantly in recovery, so that could take away from it. I know on days where I inject when I;m feeling strong and not fatigued mentally or physically I have good responses.
