Sorry as all hell guys. I'm not receiving any emails when you're posting. CuriousMate, my ring is the original tubing and I snug it enough so it won't disconnect. I still have a little over an inch exposed on both sides. Just this morning, I took automotive shrink tubing for wires and hoses, and used little pieces to help alleviate some of the pain I get from the edges of the tubes rubbing on my skin. I'll get a pic soon enough. As I stated before, I wear mine all day and night without any problems of falling off or apart. I'm sure with the shrink tubing it won't at all now. I also use vaseline sometimes, or lube, or even baby oil jel. I clean up with warm soapy water and wipe off. There is still a slight film but I'm not worried about it. The tubing is easy to acquire and incase it breaks, you have a string attached. The oil, lubrication and vaseline will simply make it slide around more, but it still, in time, will degrade the tubing. Just check for excess stretching of the tubing or any cracks. Keep clean and wear as much as you can.

Got the pic. You can see I made the tubing longer on one side so that it has room for my sack and any hanging or shrinking it does throughout the day. You can also see the small shrink tubing I put on as well.

Geeze, that's a friggin work of art! Lol, I mean it:} My fear was the more of the rods that are covered by the tubes the less the affect. And as long as lotioning up the frank and beans won't prevent the positive affects of the rods, then I'm there! Thanks for the help!

Looks like mine cept mine is solid gold:)

What does it mean if the copper is leaving a green residue on the tubing? (i have clear tubing)

Oxidising, if I'm not too far away from the truth. In other words, it's working! This is at least my view about it. That's why I clean the rods almost daily. I don't have tubing, expect for the lower part, mine's more like a adjustable penis ring at the moment. Maybe I'll take a picture, that would make a whole lot more sense. No promises though!

You should. My tubing comes off each night. So an alternative way to attach would be great.

Anyone still making these? I'm interested in purchasing one, don't exactly have free time to make one

Supra still makes them.

Hey arkailija, still waiting for the pic! I understand if you don't want too but your mods sound great but I wouldn't want to attempt it myself without seeing a visual example.

I second that

Hi!

Sorry it took some time, here's a quick shot with a web cam.

So, crude, I know. Basically it's just holes in the top and bottom sides. The silicone part is for comfort so that the rods or the string won't dig into skin. I've had even more vivid "dream visions" about the ROP, but for the moment this shall do. The clamp / lock is what you'll find in backpacks etc., very basic. It's a snug fit, I certainly could have made the string longer. The silicone has stayed put pretty nicely, as it's inserted deep. (It kept coming off from the copper rod, not so much problem with the zinc rod.)

All the best! This was my first picture post.

Brilliant modification. Just brilliant. Too bad I don't have any drill bits that would go into metal. What kind do you need? Diamond tipped drill bits?

First, frickin awesome! Also I'll second Mike's question and ask another... That clamp, where exactly do you have it? I'm guessing either on the top or bottom, but either way, do you feel it and or does it irritate your skin?

Again, great idea!

Thanks!

About drill bits, basic metal working bits will probably be sufficient. The hollow copper rod was a bit more difficult. (As in getting it to stay in place.)

About the clamp, it goes on top. Copper to right, zinc to left as it is advised. I "designed" it to be worn on top, the clamp section. I haven't had irritation, the fit is snug but the string doesn't creep into the skin. Very comfortable altogether. The bottom part, where the silicone part is, I did try several different types of ways. Just string; creeps into skin, uncomfortable. Silicone bits covering the rod ends; still creeping and discomfort.
It was yet a measuring issue to get this to work, I needed to insert the silicone further to the copper so it stays put. (So, in the beginning I had not cut the silicone part long enough.)

Good if this inspires anyone!

Nice mod man, I used to make ones like that, I like the design, nice job man!

Question answered, no worry about a detector of any kind... Though I won't lie, I'd still be afraid of the TSA finding it!
