I found out I think my balls were hurting because of the arginine. Apparently that's one of the side effects of it for the first week or two. They're better now. Still loving the ring a lot, haven't taken it off except for length work and to clean it. Good stuff.
 
hey guys...im proud to say that i made a ROP the other night....and oh man i love. Today i finally got a battery for my volt meter and i was measuring like .7... after the reading i put on this aloe hand lotion(mircle of aloe, the brand) and my measure jumped up to .9! i once read somewhere...i dont remember where, that sumone used calendula cream or lotion(i dun no) and their reading boosted up by alot!...he didnt say how much though. i want to get the calendula...but i dont really have money to waste at this time. but for now im just happy that aloe lotion brought my volts up by that much.

In making a ROP it seems a lot of emphasis has been placed on the zinc rod, but I have read little about the copper. Is it just as important to get a very pure copper rod? I see McMaster sells Alloy 101 oxygen free copper which is 99.99% pure. I have been trying to find out the difference between Alloy 101 copper and recommended food grade copper, but have not found anything. I have found there are different grades and % up purity of copper. Looking at this from a health viewpoint wouldn't it be better to get a 99.99% pure copper rod vs a lesser grade with imputes (? lead, etc)?? I read about the health concerns of lead and other impurities in some zinc products, thus the recommendation to get the zinc rod from McMaster. Wouldn't there be a similar concern with the copper rod also??

Another question, if using 99% pure zinc and copper rods would there be any concern of developing toxic levels in your body after long term usage??

I'm interested in making a ROP, and while the short term results sound great, I have to wonder if any harmful health issues could be caused from this device after long term use

I got the Zinc solid rod (6") from McMaster part# 3606K1 for $6.54 each
and you can get copper solid rod (12") there too part#8965K14 for $7.72 each.

Or there is always 3/8" O.D. refrigerator (food) grade copper tubing from Home Depot, they only charged me $.99 cents for 12"

1/4" I.D. latex hose from Lowe's (Home Depot doesn't have it anymore) - $1.40 / foot.

Very easy to get and make :)
 
i was just going to get copper tubing and zinc tubing and thread a hair elastic through them, would this work? also, i got my copper tubing from a hardware store and my zinc tubing from a metal place, does this sound safe?
