The hot washcloth warmup is in my opinion the best you can do I know off.

I also like heating pads and a big cup of warm water. Heating pad is my favorite when I can use it all day, it just loosens everything up and everything hangs so low.

Thanx for the tip. When I have time I will look for it.

Been using infrared light for aprox. 10 min. at a time during stretching. Keeps the shaft/ligs warm.

That is a good thing! That base soreness always comes to me right before I gain.
