Now it's arrived I have a quick but important question. Are you supposed to use the Bathmate whilst flaccid (like the instructional video) or are you really supposed to go into it erect? I have never pumped before if that affects anything.

I think it's better from at the least a potential comfort standpoint to enter the Bathmate erect. If I enter flaccid, my glans tries to 'stick' to the inside wall as I add vacuum.

Did my first workout with the Bathmate about 45 mins ago, and that is what I found (the sticking to the wall). So from now on I shall enter erect. I'm thinking that if I enter erect then there would be more expansion anyway, compared to flaccid/semi erect?

Well, there's less ''work'' for the Bathmate to do at least I mean, you're already erect. I don't know if it makes a difference though regarding ''quality'' of the pumping session.

Just ordered the Bathmate X-40. Looking forward to trying it out!! Hope it's not too big! lol I'm a little over 8 in length 7 in base and 6.5 midshaft. Never used a pump before, and really stoked that i can use for stretching. Can't wait!

I normally use my Bathmate in the shower, but it was such a sunny day out I decided to try it out in the pool, haha! I noticed a couple of things, the first being that the pressure generated felt much more intense than being in or out of the shower. The second was that there was no water refraction from the Bathmate. Usually it looks like the Bathmate is going to burst from my expanding girth, but suBathmateerged in water(I'm not sure if it's the same way for those of you who use it while in the bath) gave me a much more realistic view of what my cock looks like in there. It was somewhat humbling as I discovered that I'm not mashed up against the walls ready to break free from the tubes confines; rather, it looked like my normal erection only slightly bigger all around. The one thing I though was cool was how towards the end of the session I noticed how much the girth actually did change from roughly the 10 minute mark to the 20

I've been using the Bathmate for 2 1/2 weeks, I love it. It has me super motivated. I'm not only pumping, but I'm jelqing and stretching too. Its too early to do any measurements, but I can tell you that I'm pumped more than normal throughout the day. My pumps last all day.
I have a question though. I'm using the Bathmate twice a day. 20 minute sessions each. I'm getting very little, if any water retention, maybe because I'm jelqing right after my 20 minute sessions.
Do you guys think I can get faster length and width results by doing 2 20 minute sessions? Anybody else in here pumping more than 20 minutes a day with better results? Thanks for your replies.

Yesterday when using it the rubber ring came out due to excessive pulling. I am not surprised anyway because I pull it quiet a lot (3 sets of 30 seconds every 10 minutes).

I wanted to know what was best: glue the rubber back, or buy a new one.

... oh and I recently bought X-40 but I am not sure I'll be using it until 2011... It's enormous! I'm only at 7 inches length!

Any waterproof cement will work, I think Stillwantmore mentioned a latex (or something like that) for flexibility.

The X-40 will be a good visual motivational tool

For sure. Penis pumps, in general, are a medical treatment for erectile disfunction. Aside from it being an enlargement tool it is also a erection tool.
