Like the title says, I've made more gains in the last couple of days. I'm not using the current setup with the thumbscrews maxed out AND starting to get some give in the springs! Before when I was maxing out, I was doing locked stretching but not anymore!

I've found that using the springs to stretch is MUCH better than locked for myself anyway. I also used the Bathmate X-40 for 20 minutes before using the SG today. This resulted in a jelly state with faster stretching. I thought doing locked stretches was better for gains, but after using the spring again and comparing the results, it's not.

I'm going to continue maxed out on the current setup for a couple of days to see if the springs will stretch me any further. If not, I'll add in the 1/4" rods and continue from there.

I have noticed with spring stretching that my EQ in the morning is awesome and similar to when I first got the SG. I feel like I wasted some time experimenting with locked stretches but there's only one way to find out if it worked so not a total loss because I have my answer now.

Nice and steady is the best method at this time.

Hi bubblehead. It means not adjusting the thumbscrews until you're past the springs as in the first line is 900, 2nd line is 1200, and 3rd line is 1500 and anything beyond that is "locked".

I had a good session with the SG today using it several times. As usual, I had to re-adjust more often at the end of the session than when I started. I can usually use the SG for about and hour before needing to re-adjust and for about 30 minutes after a couple of hours.

Instead of doing locked stretches, I am focused on spring stretches which seems slower for gains mentally. I do notice that I'm getting a good consistent dull stretch for most of my sessions and after an hour or so, I max out the current setup. That means I have used the thumbscrews to extend the SG as far as it will go with the rods I have attached. At that point, the springs are working and will push my stretch a little further.

My SG use has been inconsistent that last couple of weeks, but now that I'm using it more often, I feel that it's working better than using for an hour or two here and there. I get my best sessions when I can use the SG for more than 4 hours a day.

I'll keep going at this for another week at 1450g. It feels as if my gains have slowed down and there's only 15 days left until the next time I measure. I'm hoping to add the 1/4" rods between now and then or I'll have made little progress in the last 15 days.
 
I'm not able to wear my extender for more than 1.5 hours. After that the base rubs against my sac and begins to cause discomfort, if it wasn't for that I think I can get in over 2 hours at a time which would be great. It doesn't seem like you have this problem is there a certain remedy you use? Thanks for all the quick replies it's much appreciated. :)

Have you tried to pad the area that is causing the soreness? A bit of cotton or any soft material can be used to pad the area so this is not an issue.

Hey DLD, yeah I thought about it but the base is so narrow I was thinking of a way I can apply some sort of adhesive and stick some kind of padding. I'll fool around with it. Hopefully I dont ruin my extender
 
Have you been getting any stretch marks on your penis...I have and am not happy about so have stopped the extender until I find a solution to this problem .
I don't want a wrecked looking penis.
Been focusing more on manual stretches instead.

I wrap TP around the based. Gets rid of the friction/discomfort. I've seen some people put foam and others make a custom cloth wrap. Either way, some type of softer padding will help.

A lesson I learned today is to use manual stretching!

I've definitely slowed down with the gains lately and haven't gotten the "new user" stretch feeling with the SG for a long time. I usually put on the SG without warming up for the last several weeks and will admit the device has made me a bit lazy. I still jelq from time to time, but I don't really stretch too much. I stretched today very quickly and used the SG and I could really feel the difference. I also noticed I was able to hit the maxed out thumbscrews quicker and even stretched a little beyond the usual length.

I had 2 sessions beginning and end of the day with some quick manual stretching before and really felt a difference in the effectiveness of the SG both times. I will definitely get back to manual stretching and hopefully this will help me get past the current plateau. I have a feeling it will.
 
J1L, I made the velcro strap modification, but it's not clear to me how you're attaching it. Do you use the velcro and the foam ring that comes with the SG unit, or just the velcro?

I had difficulty keeping the foam ring from slipping off, so I tried velcro only, with a small strip of cloth wrapped around just below my glans. This held better, but it was a bit painful so I tried a rubber tube as shown in the SG video. This works OK, but it seems to cut off circulation to my glans if I tighten it enough to keep it from slipping off. I'm uncut, and my glans is probably a little on the small size relative to my shaft, so that probably isn't helping anything.

The foam ring is not the best wrap, if I were you I would use a cloth wrap then velcro down. Much more comfortable and not so awkward.

03/03/2011 - Day 49 (I think I got the days/date right now)

Spring: 1200-1500g
Time: 1.5h + 1.5h + 4h
Position: 100% Down
Supplements: MultiVitamins + TSPR

I felt that I hit a plateau or slowed down so I wanted to get a better routine going. I started the day with 600 jelqs and 20 minutes in the Bathmate X-40 to loosen things up. As you can see, I had 7 hours in the SG today which I think will help with the results.

I've also gone back to non locked stretches using the SG as originally instructed on the DVD. I feel that locked stretches really help with length, but I'm not getting the same dull light pain from stretching with regular use. That and I also get some slippage. I've been doing locked stretches for 2 weeks without being able to add bars or see the results I wanted when I first got the SG... time to go back to the slow and steady method and see if that has better results.

I made sure to do some quick manual stretches when re-adjusting the SG. I could really feel the difference in effectiveness when adding this to the routine. I'm going to try for some more manual work before using the SG tomorrow in hopes to shock my penis into new length gains with a change in routine.

I think you can use lotion with Vitamin E in it to help minimize scarring? I had stretch marks, but they've gone away. If it's really bad, I'll use polysporin with Vitamin E for several days. It's not a huge concern since so much blood circulates there it should heal over time.

Some days it also looks worse than other while using the SG, but when it's not on I don't really notice the marks.
 
03/05/2011 - Day 50

I didn't mention in the last several post that I've changed the down position from the right leg to the left since I usually wear pants while using the SG. Doing this to even out 45+ days of downwards and to the right.

I started the day with 400 jelqs, erect bends, and DLD girth blasters. When I used the SG the stretch was INTENSE even at a very low tension. This is part of my routine change in the hopes of overcoming some slowdowns in length gains. I usually adjust the thumbscrews until they're locked, then re-adjust them back until there's some spring tension around 1400gs. Eventually it will loosen up to around 1000g-1200g at which point I'll re-adjust.

During all of my sessions today, the stretch was very good and it's very noticeable when the manual exercises are added. Sometimes I'll still lock stretch, but not for too long, maybe 30 minutes total out of all of the sessions just to change up the method. Even with the manual Penis Enlargement warm up, the locked stretches don't feel as strong as the regular method.

I tried the cloth wrap today but went back to the memory foam. The cloth wrap is more secure but I have to re-adjust more often as there's not extra cushioning which allows me to wear the SG for a bit longer. There is definitely less slippage with the cloth, and I will probably use it at the end of my sessions as that's where I tend to get slippage.

I was able to add the 1/4 inch rods the other day and not slip out which tells me I'm gaining. I did this by unscrewing the current rods and adding them in between (to minimize slippage). I tried again without doing it this way, and just secured the glands while the whole SG was assembled and that worked as well. I'm still trying to use the non-locked stretching for the next couple of weeks so there isn't a point to use extra rods since I lock out more easily?

I wasn't going for max length today so I didn't push on that front, but in terms of QUALITY of stretch, today was excellent.
