Hi guys been reading on here how guys can hold their pc muscle while having sex, no i am just new to all this,but when i flex (or should i say try to flex) my pc muscle it pulls in but it naturally fads, i could not hold it tight for more than 2-3 then the natural tendency is to fad and relax...how can guys hold it for so long?
Also the reverse kegel, how in gods name do you do that???? when i do as i would if i were pushing urine out it seems to act more on the pelvic muscle rather than the pc...am i doing it correctly?

Yea, Can anyone tell me. Im a newbie. I want to know how do you do this PC muscle stuff so that you can last longer in bed. What exercises am I to do to help this muscle out. Also, how many reps and when should I increase the reps. Can someone just throughly explain this because I want to be able to got for as long as I want to go in the bedroom. And how long will it take me to build the muscle up so that I can go as long as possible. Also, can you can direct me to a thread about basic exercises for LENGTH and GIRTH? Because I will be dedicated to the exercises its just that a catch an erection easy, from what I thought is that your suppose to strecth on soft and jelq with a slight erection but not a 100% full erection. ANY Help plz

There are a lot of explanations describing the Kegel on this site, and all over the web as well. Basically, very short description that is common, is that a Kegel is just what you do to stop the flow of urine while urinating. If you are peeing and you shut off your flow, you have just done a Kegel. It is also what you flex naturally when you ejaculate. Every guy know what that feels like :D

As to reps, routines, whatever. There as many ideas on that as there are fingerprints. You can do quick flexes, flex and holds, etc, etc. It is just a group of muscles though. ( pubococcygeus muscles ) Loosely, they extend from the pelvic bone to the tail bone, which serve to hold the organs in the area.

But due to their small size and make-up in comparison to large muscle groups such as pectoral muscles for example, they can be worked out with many repetitions (almost endless :D) and all levels of intensity. If you have ever lifted weights over a period of time, you will know that such small muscles such as the pc, can tolerate very high number of repetitions and heal much faster than larger muscles. You basically can work them out all of the time whenever you want, in any way that you want, simply sleeping at night (and a decent diet) will give them ample time for recovery. Think in terms of the abdominals, you can never work them out too intensely or too frequently, (at least after they are already in shape :D) and you will understand what I am talking about.

The only controversial thing I can think of is the common belief in a "reverse Kegel". I am not sure how this actually relates to the pc group. Muscles in the body are made up of fibers that contract, in this case the Kegel is contracting the pc group. Fibrous muscles do not expand or lengthen by force or impulse. It just doesn't happen. The fibers "contract" or "shorten" as they expand due to expansion. When you "stretch" the biceps, or do a "reverse curl" :D, you are just flexing the triceps in reality. So a reverse Kegel would be flexing some other muscles than the pc group, maybe it should be named by that group which is flexing :D

My personal advice on doing Kegels, which might be bad :D, is to do them as much as you possibly can whenever you can, wherever you are until you can shoot your sperm through a piece of plywood like a gun :D :D :D

A new approach I have taken to making Kegeling more fun: Flex, flex, flex from a flaccid state until you are as hard as a rock, flex, flex, flex until you can ejaculate without ever touching your penis. Fun and intense. LOL

ok do you know how long it will take on average to work this muscle to the point where I can go as long as I want to go in the bedroom? and also when I do get to that point how do I perform the act. Say for instance while having sex do I have sex as i normally would then when I feel that Im about to ejaculate just simply slow down and hold s kegel? How long do i hold the kegel? until the ejaculating sensation has died out? then if I start up right after that has died out, will I be able to go for a a significant amount of time again before the sensation to ejaculate comes back or will the sensation come back quick?

Okay, from what I have found from what some doctors have put up on line, Kegels will flex, or contract, the entire pelvic floor and not the PC specifically. In other words, Kegels will contract the PC, BC, and IC muscles together. The impulse to contract any of the muscle groups in the pelvic floor all emanate from the same place. It is biologically impossible to work just the PC, BC, or IC muscles independently. People may "feel" like they are with different techniques, but in essence, all muscle groups in the pelvic floor are controlled by the same source of impulse.

Kegels do not work the PC muscles in isolation. Kegels engage and contract all three muscle groups simultaneously. What is "feel" is not what is "real" in this case. Sure, there can be varying levels of intensity you "feel" from group to group depending on your focus, position, and state, but it is an illusion. Furthermore, for those interested in "strengthening" the BC and IC muscles in particular, from what I have read from doctors, is that this can only be accomplished by isometric exercise. Meaning you would have to contract the entire pelvic floor and hold this contraction. So Kegel "squeeze and holds" are the only real way to strengthen the BC and IC muscles. (Note: I am talking about strength and not length.) And some of the doctors mentioned doing intense Kegels, or contraction of the entire pelivic floor, and holding the contraction under a load to actually strengthen the IC and BC groups. Such as with towel lifts with an erection (?), where you would lift and hold, not lift, lower, and repeat. They say that only isometric exercise will strengthen the IC and BC muscles. Flexing would be strengthening the PC muscle more in relation to the IC and BC.

And if the PC becomes particularly stronger than the IC and BC, it will essentially be limiting potential growth of the penis externally. We want the PC to lengthen more than strengthen to maximize gains in size. The reason for the PC's ability to strengthen proportionally more than the IC or BC even though all work in conjunction with each other is related to their relative size and density. The PC is significantly larger and stronger than the IC and BC combined. Anyone who has worked out knows that large muscles grow stronger and faster than smaller muscles given a certain level of intensity. (although they take more time to recover :D)

Also, there are no muscle groups within the pelvic floor to elongate or stretch the PC, BC, or IC muscles. The only way to truly stretch any of these muscles is either through external stretching of the penis, by jelqing which is just stretching by blood engorgement or other manual stretching techniques, or... By causing a force downward upon everything within the pelvic region with the abdominal region. Pretty much squeezing your torso and intestines with your abdominal muscles causing a "downward force" upon the entire pelvic floor. Like squeezing a tube of toothpaste. The same thing that you do normally while trying to force urine out of your penis forcefully, or pushing out a giant turd. LOL

I am not stating any of this as fact as I see it, but rather what I have read from what doctors say. (although I understand that doctors can be wrong, especially with Penis Enlargement in general :D) So maybe, we should just not say PC exercise and Kegel interchangeably. Maybe just Pelvic Floor exercises. :D

The reality is that ejaculation is largely controlled by the brain causing the repeated flexing of the muscles within your pelvic region. Like when you Kegel quickly. The idea is to be able to HOLD a kegel to stop, or at least prevent ejaculation. If you can kegel and hold that, thereby stopping it from flexing, when approaching orgasm, you theoretically can stop the ejaculation. But, this only really works if you can either keep yourself from flexing for as long as you want to continue having sex after feeling the urge, a constant hold. Or if you can at least do a hold until the "urge" to ejaculate passes. No easy thing until you have a very strong muscle group down there. :D It can be done, but will require a lot of practice.

If you are particularly focused upon "lasting longer": By all means continue to work on your Kegels to improve strength and duration of contraction, but remember as far as "staying" power, it is about the ability to either hold a contraction either "forever" or until the urge to ejaculate passes. In addition, edging is wonderful, when it comes to lasting longer too. The longer you can train yourself to tolerate stimulation without the "urge" to ejaculate the better. Ideally, you want to get to the point where you choose when you want to ejaculate rather than letting the amount of stimulation that you receive dictate it to you. So try edging as well. If you practice, which is fun :D, you should be able to play with yourself for a looooong time without ejaculating. You will eventually get to the point when you simply choose when you want to cum instead of being like an animal that has no control. LOL

In the end, it really is more in your head than anything else. But who am I to say that... :D

I just want to point out that you can do quick kegels for a million years, but if you cannot hold it without flexing or releasing the hold, it will not help your staying power in any way whatsoever. But you may need to do a lot of intense quick Kegels before you learn how to hold one for any significant amount of time depending on how weak your pelvic muscles currently are at this point. Personally, I think that short-term, edging will do more for your staying power, than kegeling will do until your pelvic muscles are quite strong. Edging isn't hard and you can learn about your particular "no point of return". If you were very aware of your no point of return, you simply would have to back off before you reached it...does that make sense?

Thats why I always refer to them as pelvic floor exercises. When you reverse kegel, try it as your enjoying head or wanking\jerking off and execute the RK ... the sensation numbs away and you can ease off that psychological sensation for a moment and hence last longer.

I am not finding any medical evidence of this "reverse kegel". When you say reverse kegel, are you talking about lengthening the pelvic floor muscles? What I am getting at is there are no muscles which contract in the opposite direction of the PC, BC, or IC down there. (all fibrous muscles only contract, they cannot extend by effort...ie, a "reverse" of a biceps flex, say a "reverse curl", would really be a contraction of the triceps, or in other words to "stretch" the biceps one has to contract the triceps) There is no analogous "triceps" in the pelvic floor area. So could this "reverse kegel" really just be a "downward" force by abdominal muscles, or contraction of the abdominals, to "stretch" the pelvic floor muscles???

I am trying to wrap my head around what internally really is a "reverse kegel". Am I on the right track with the thinking above in your experienced opinion?

Sorry to be a pest here. I am really curious as to what the very experienced here would say to the above post. I really want to wrap my head around this "reverse Kegel" concept and cannot really grasp it from the descriptions I have found and what I know about the muscles contained within the pelvic floor. Any help or clarifications from the experienced guys out there would be greatly appreciated.

Must be the same area of muscles when you shit when a reverse kegel is done. All I know is it works wonders at holding off ejaculation but dont know how it seems to work.
 
Have u tried it while having sex tho or jus while masturbating? If u have tried during sex...how exactly do u execute it? Also I guess it's best to empty your bowels tho huh lol

I think we all can do the normal kegel,but the reverse....well it has been discribed as doing the opposite to the kegel in that when urinating,instead of stopping the flow,you actually force it out.Now if i attempt that it feels to work on the pelvic muscles above the penis,which to my mind is not the pc muscle...any views?

The trick is to simply not ejaculate so you can still feel the lust.

And finally regarding ejaculation velocity and strength, I have reached a stage where ejaculation really feels like you are hurting yourself. ie you ejaculate so hard that your abdomen "pops" like a double joint, and the tendons one the side of the dick feel like they have ripped - and it is fucking painful.

Obviously (I hope) you would not want to reach these stages. The reason I have said the things I said above is to support my statement - as far as my body is concerned, I have reached the limits of what kegelling can offer, and since our bodies are mostly similar, I believe that this should be your one stop shop for learning how to get the most out of kegels, so read on:

Part 1

About Kegels

To put it concisely, a kegel works two main muscles in your penis and pelvis, depending on the type of kegel you do: the PC and the BC muscles.

The PC muscle directly affects erection strength - an erection occurs by a two stage process:

a. blood is pumped into the penis from your pelvis
b. blood is restricted (not prevented) from exiting from the penis to the pelvis

The PC muscle is the primary controller of these two stages. It is worked directly by utilizing regular as well as reverse kegels.

The BC muscle is assumed to be responsible for ejaculation. That spasm you feel when ejaculating is the BC muscle. Ideally a stronger BC muscle creates stronger spams which results in a stronger "spurt" of semen when you ejaculate. A well defined BC muscle allows you to control how hard you cum.
I believe that the BC is worked indirectly by utilizing regular as well as reverse kegels, but MAINLY THROUGH REVERSE KEGELS.

Part 2

Types of Kegels

There are two types of Kegels: Regular and Reverse

As I mentioned above: an erection occurs by a two stage process:

a. blood is pumped into the penis from your pelvis
b. blood is restricted (not prevented) from exiting to penis to the pelvis

Regular kegels increase your power to increase point b above. This results in a rock hard erection, and when I say rock hard, I don't mean an engorged penis that feels like it's going to explode, I mean, literally a penis that doesn't feel like a penis, but more like a piece of wood or steel. This is a great feeling to have when you have an erection, but if you had the ability to engorge the penis you enter a new realm.


For most people who are new to kegels, to perform a basic kegel, which can allow you to feel the PC muscle, simply go to the toilet and start urinating.
Then:

i. about 5 seconds after you start urinating, stop the flow, then hold for 5 seconds, then start the flow again
ii. repeat a for the duration of the urination

By the end you should have a firm grasp of what is happening when you kegel.

For the engorged rock hard penis you need to work on a thing called Reverse Kegels.
The reverse kegel involves pushing blood into your penis.
Did you ever wonder why you sometimes get erections when taking a dump? Its because while you are pushing the shit out you are also indirectly pushing blood, through the PC muscle, into your penis.

Taking the example of urinating that I put above, when you stopped the flow, you performed a regular kegel. If you then forced the flow to restart you performed a reverse kegel.

A person with a developed PC muscle has rock hard erection automatically. As soon as he becomes sufficiently aroused, it will be difficult to lose the erection, because the developed (and therefore larger) PC muscle automatically restricts more blood flow from leaving the penis.

Part 3

The Ultimate Erection

A person that has developed their ability to reverse kegel can perform an exercise I call the kegel pump (maybe others call it something else, but here I refer to it as a kegel pump).

Kegel Pump

The Kegel Pump serves two purposes:
1. engorge the penis greatly which increases erection girth during the erection!
2. prevent you from cumming (not just ejaculating, but cumming altogether)

Simply put, it involves performing a reverse kegel followed by a regular kegel. ie. you push blood into your penis, then strongly contract the PC muscle, in a pumping motion - think of blowing into a baloon. You blow all the air out of your lungs and into the baloon, then squeeze the opening of the baloon while you inhale air into your lungs, then you repeat the process.
In terms of the Kegel Pump, you push the blood out of the pelvis and into the penis, then squeeze the arteries that send the blood back to the pelvis by contracting your PC muscle, while the artery that send blood INTO the penis increases in pressure as blood is circulated into your pelvis. Then you push that blood into the penis and repeat.

If, when you feel close to cumming, you perform an extended kegel pump (ie a very long regular kegel followed by a reverse kegel) your penis will feel like it is becoming numb (but in a good way) while still being rock hard, and it will allow you to keep fucking until that feeling of urgency to come goes away, leaving you in a state of extreme hornyness.

The advanced kegeller achieves the this ultimate erection and staying power by using the kegel pump.

Being able to do a kegel pump is like learning how to ride a bicycle: Once you can do it, you can always do it, even if you stop kegelling for a few months, but its effect will be greatly diminished.

Part 4

A Proven Routine

Routine level: Beginners and Advanced

Based on my years of kegelling I'd like to share an easy to follow routine that I have devised that will get those muscles nice and strong.

Rule 1: Consistency - Incorporate into other routines
You will find lots of routines around here that incporporate kegels into the warm up and warm down. It is the easiest thing to do and quite effective. The problem is that this restricts kegels to Penis Enlargement exercises which a lot of people don't follow religiously.
Kegels should be followed religiously because it is harder to overtrain the PC muscle (is it is working when ever you pee, stand up, shit, wank, have sex and sleep)
Incorporate the kegels into your mornings, when you brush your teeth. This will have two advantages -
1. You will kegel every week day at least.
2. you will spend more time brushing your teeth which is VERY important for looks and hygiene. We don't walk around flashing our cocks but we do flash our teeth when we are smiling to a woman.

Rule 2 – minimum 4 minutes per weekday (It’s just 4 mins!!! DON'T BE A LAZY WUSS!!!)

Basic routine

This involves a 260 second count while brushing your teeth.

0 – 200: There is no rest period in these:
0 - 100 → 100 x quick and hard - Flex your PC muscle sharply every second
101 - 150 → 25 x 2 second squeeze – This is more like a 50 second hold in which you release your contraction on ever 2nd second count. So you hold for two, then release and immediately hold for another two.
151 - 200 → 5 x 5 second squeeze similar to the 2 second squeeze, but these squeezes are performed with the hardest contraction. When you do these, imagine that you are trying to lift the tip of your penis, not just squeeze the PC at the base. This is the quencher. Be good at this and you will go very far.

201-220 → rest the PC muscle. Focus on making it as relaxed as possible.


221 – 260 → The PC hold. I do this while brushing my wisdom teeth – an often neglected part of the mouth. These are the teeth right at the back and there are four of them. I spend 10 seconds on each one for a total of 40 seconds. HOLD YOUR PC AS HARD AS YOU EVER HAVE FOR THESE 40 SECONDS. Take deep breaths if you have to. JUST DON’T LET GO. Your PC should be on fire by the end.
There you go. Easy to do, doesn’t take a lot of time, gives good results.

Once you feel you can take it to the next step, try the SUPenis EnlargementR LONG HOLD

Slow Contraction

Another exercise to implement into your workouts is the Slow Contraction (I forget what the original name for the exercise is, as I found out about it years ago on other sites).
Easy to do while you brush your teeth
Each set consists of three stages:
1. Starting position: completely relaxed. Contract slowly for a 5 second count gradually building the force of your contraction until, at "5" you are 100% contracted
2. Starting position: completely contracted - hold at 100% or 110% - ie contract as hard as possible for a 5 second count
3. Starting position: completely contracted - gradually release the contraction until, at the 5 second count you are completely relaxed
repeat 5 times

I've been aware of kegal exercises for quite some time now but Reverse Kegals are fairly new to me. I'll be incorporating some of this into my work out and day to day life.

My problem is I don't think I fully understand the whole kegel exercise. When erect a kegel should cause my penis to rise up and somewhat become harder right? What should a reverse feel like?
 
For me, when I "push out the turd" or "force pee", blood leaves my erection it drops and gets a little softer temporarily. (Reverse Kegel) As your muscles develop, you will feel the kegels and reverse kegels feel like they are taking place closer to your scrotum or even in it. Just keep kegeling, your pelvic floor muscles will get stronger and stronger and it will become clear to you.
 
Exactly. Please keep in mind not to push too hard on the reverse kegel either, its just enough otherwise you may risk getting piles :)
