28 years old. Lost my virginity at 18. So for the 10 years I’ve been having sex I’ve had premature ejaculation the whole time. It’s not lack of experience as I’ve had a lot of sex

I think it’s a physical problem for me. I don’t think it’s a mental issue at all as I’ve had sex when half asleep in the morning with ex partners and I’d still cum quick even though im barely awake so not thinking negative thoughts.

I’m generally a healthy guy. I’ve trained at the gym lifting weights 5 times a week for last 10 years. I eat well etc too.

I think my problem could be tightness. I have tight hamstring and hip flexors and if I press the area under my balls when I have an erection, it feels rock hard like there’s a tennis ball sitting there.

Edging never worked for me as it didn’t transition from masturbating to sex. I simply reached the point of no return too quick and couldn’t controllably stop myself.

I’ve tried kegels /reverse kegels in the past and firstly I was never convinced I was doing them right and secondly I don’t remember them helping (if anything I think I finished quicker.) I’m willing to try them again.

I also think I have very mild gut issues and inflammation which I’m working on improving. Doubt it’s related to PE at all but thought I’d mention it.

When I was younger, if I finished early, I’d simply recharge and go again 20 minutes later, however with age I can’t do that. As I’ve got older, the only time I’ve been able to go for a long time has been when I’m drunk or on drugs (MDMA, cocaine, ketamine) which are unhealthy habits I’ve now stopped. I also have taken sideafanil and tadafanil - one of them not only gave me rock hard erections but also made me last ages.

Lasting around a minute
I think you put to much pressure on yourself.
When I read this It feels like you are really stressed out about all this. And you put even more pressure on yourself due to this.

You say:
I have tight hamstring and hip flexors
A tight muscular system is an indication of stress. Stress and sex is not a good combination.

I don't understand how this situation can happened. Why would you have sex when you are half asleep? It almost feels like you force yourself to have sex. Sex should come as a natural response of attraction/you are horny, and not something you force upon yourself.

The mental part is interconnected with the physical part. Your nervous system goes out from your brain into your entire body. So you can't sesperate the physical from the mental, everything is interconnected.

I don't know why you have this, or to what an extent. But can't this be an inticator that you have to much stress in your life?

Try to go some time without stress (and sex, if you do not have a partner). And let your mind and body just be, without putting pressure upon yourself about sex.

It's normal this area becomes hard when you have an erection.

I think you put to much pressure and stress on yourself in the situations when you have sex. Also it feels like you are overanylazing every aspect of yourself.

I don't know what you want me to say. Just trying to help you to put everything into perspective. When you put pressure on yourself when having sex, it can lead to performance anxiety. This can be a reason for it all.

It’s not stress. I’m not stressed… I’m relaxed. I’ve always been stiff and not flexible anatomically- this for me isn’t a reflection of mentally being tense.

I don’t force myself to have sex. For example if I’m in a relationship and we have sex before work, I’m not exactly sharp and awake at 6am so even when having lazy sex I’d cum quick. Very different to sex In the evening when I’m more sharp and alert.

I never force myself to have sex. I do it because I enjoy it and I’m confident in it. I’m naturally pretty horny.

As I say for me my PE is not mental. Despite cumming quickly, I don’t have anxiety.

Based on what you have shared, it seems like you have already tried a few things to help with this issue. However, there are a few additional steps you can take:

1. Consult a doctor: It might be worth seeing a doctor to rule out any underlying medical issues that could be contributing to your premature ejaculation. They may also be able to offer additional treatment options, such as medication or therapy.

2. Practice relaxation techniques: Anxiety and stress can often lead to premature ejaculation, so learning relaxation techniques such as deep breathing, meditation, or yoga may help.

3. Try the squeeze technique: This technique involves squeezing the base of the penis for a few seconds when you feel like you're about to ejaculate, then waiting a few seconds before resuming sexual activity. This can help delay ejaculation.

4. Use thicker condoms: Thicker condoms can help reduce sensitivity and prolong sexual activity.

5. Experiment with different positions: Some positions may be more stimulating than others, so try experimenting with different positions to see what works best for you.

Overall, it's important to remember that premature ejaculation is a common issue and there are plenty of treatment options available. Don't be afraid to try different techniques and strategies until you find something that works for you.

Excellent post!

Would love to try the squeeze technique.
