The last Slow Squash Jelq thread was convoluted, confusing, and misrepresented. DLD and I chatted about the SSJ tonite and got all the kinks worked out. This is the epitome of girth exercises - massive expansion with minimal to nil fluid buildup. This not only incorporates expansion theory but also a state of mind to approach the exercise with.

DLD: "It is by far the best girth exercise ever...a 30 minute session gets me over .75" of temp. girth..."

Step #1 : Visualization, Daily Goal
DLD: "Here is another tip I use... When I start I look at my penis girth and my wrist making a visual comparison... My initial goal is to get my girth as big as my wrist... THAT IS MY ONLY GOAL... once I am there, as sili and impossible as this sounds, I look at my ankle and try to get to that thickness... It, of course, does not happen but the visualization is incredible..."

Step #2 : Creating the Mood. Get Sexy
DLD: "I treat my session like masturbation ... is I pop in a really good ���� and get myself 100% erect... Girth NEEDS to be highly sexual ..."

Approach the exercise as sexually as possible. As odd as it sounds, breathing and making a little noise like you are having sex makes the whole experience sexier. Anything else that gets you going and makes you feel sexy could be in line (thrusting hips, etc.) Make it enjoyable, like masturbation. Work your way up to a 100% erection.

Step #3 : Squeezing at the Base
DLD: "once I am there [100% erect] I will clamp off at the extreme base after I kegel as much blood in as I can... I squeeze my head to release that much blood out of my penis. I want about that much room to work with... I then have my shaft really hard and the glans is empty."

Right - Uli, but once there squeeze all the blood from the head. DLD : "don't worry about the head losing size... because my glans is gaining size."

Step #4 : Performing the SSJ
DLD: "I will jelq up maybe an inch... Then I take my other hand, using the palm, and push down against the other hand... it is like the hand below is trying to jelq up while the upper hand is squashing the head and upper shaft against it... I will bend, squash, compress, push in all possible directions... I do this until I am at like maybe 80% erect... About 2 minutes... Then I will get myself hard again and repeat, switching hands..."

I think this is where the confusion started. When doing the jelq part, move the clamped hand up around an inch or so, and begin the compression with the other hand. Then, if it increases pressure, slide the clamped hand up the shaft *slightly* for the remainder of the ~2 minutes.

Yes, this is similar to Iso Comp Squeezes and Horsies, but you are using your palm/palm grip to compress, twist, bend, etc. until you get down to an 80% erection. Refer to the sexy step to be sure you are in the right mind state during the exercise.

DLD : "NO COUNTING... Remember, this is sexual... No counting... Not work, so treat it like masturbation."

Ok, this is my interpretation from DLD's exact text. While DLD can only explain to himself the exact way to do it, I think this gets closer than any other description used.

Slow Squash Jelq: Nothing Give Me Better Expansion!
This is a repost from a thread that was deleted and I could not retrieve so I want to take this opportunity to be as clear as possible with the description of it as I feel nothing has trained GIRTH better for me than this exercise.

MENTAL STATE:
Highly sexual. I look at a session with the same frame of mind I would with masturbation or sex. I want to be highly aroused and ready to enjoy the session. I like to be laying down with a good ����� on with total privacy.

TIME:
I set a time in advance (sometimes I go beyond that time) I usually dedicate 45 minutes to the session. I do not count how many I am doing my one and only goal is MAXIMUM EXPANSION for each and every session. I can tell by looking at my GIRTH that I am fully engorged and this is where I want to be as this is where GIRTH gains are. One rep of this exercise can last as long as 3 minutes for me (it really depends on endurance and hand strength) My hands get very cramped and I need to switch positions every 5 minutes or so. As time goes on your hands will get stronger.

THE EXERCISE:
I get myself fully erect. Once I have an optimum erection I will kegel as much blood into my penis as possible than with one hand (as shown) I clamp off at the base. I need some room to move the blood around so I will squeeze my glans releasing a small amount of blood than I clamp off again. The hand clamped off at the extreme base slowly and intensely jelq up maybe an inch. Once in this position I take the heal of the other hand and squash the blood from by head downward against the hand clamping. I am still applying upward pressure with the clamped hand as the heal of the upper hand continues to push the blood around. Very similar to an Isolated Compression Squeeze the difference being the upper hand is open and the heal of the hand is used to push against the resisting hand. As I said above I will do one rep for about 2-3 minutes at which time I release do a few Dual Dry Jelqs and begin the next set.

My goal, as stated above is MAXIMUM EXPANSION. I gage this by looking at my wrists while training and I make a visual comparison of the GIRTH of my penis to the GIRTH of my wrist. I want to get myself thicker than my wrist and I do this every session. Just for fun when I surpass my wrist GIRTH I start looking at my ankles (yeah right!) but it is fun to try.

Very good description! People, please try these, for me nothing is better for girth...NOTHING.
 
I just did my SSJ session, and let me say it was one of the best sessions I've ever had. I didn't even have to try to keep an erection. And it honestly didn't feel like work. I wasn't gritting my teeth trying to get through an extreme Uli or Bend, I didn't count and I didn't watch the second hand during each exercise. It's not an extreme exercise. It's an effective exercise. And even though the fluid buildup still happened - it was considerably less than normal. Definitely worth giving a try, and though I'm skeptical of making it 100% of your girth work I think it's an awesome addition.
 
I gotta say, I enjoy doing these as well. It's hard for me to hold that down pressure for more than like 30 seconds, but hopefully I can work that up.

It was for me (and still is later on in the session) but I have gotten quite a bit stronger since I started. (and thicker:D)
 
I have tried and found that it is more intense than anything I have done. I do clamping constrictors for 45 minutes at a time. I just started doing Slow Squash Jelq's and have only been able to go 10 minutes at a time my first two times trying. I blew a wad after 10 minutes and it makes me more sore. If this really is great, keep the thread going and I hope someone comes out with a video thread demonstration? Thanks guys for all your help.

I hear ya! I did a 30 minute set today and I got scary thick. I plan on getting a cam soon and shooting the video myself for the site.
 
I've been doing 4x 20 minute sets (with ample break between) of these SSJs for the past few days. I can feel my girth wanting to break out of it's shell. This may just be what gets it done. Intense stuff, and highly customizable for your situation.
 
So, is it true that this is infact one exercise that does take a long time to build up to as far as time spent per session, or is it just me?
 
Jonal - that's true, and false. It take a while to build up to the maximum intensity you can get out of this exercise, but there is a lot of room to customize. For instance, you can do it for shorter times, not use so much pressure with the palm grip, use less erection level, etc. Time spent per session is however long it takes for you to get a good workout.

Excellent answer! For me there are days I am just not as strong as others and my sessions will need modification. Some days my right hand cramps up and I have to bare most of the load on my left, sometimes visa versa. The one thing I can tell you about this exercise is that there is a measurable and visual difference at the end of each set like never before. I am seeing new veins I never thought I had (tiny, cool little squigally deals) My head looks to be getting wider. I have also noticed much more flaccid girth.
 
I've been using these, and DLD you're right, those little veins keep popping out from all over the place. I can see the blood being pushed up through the vein. Girth is geting crazy, which means I have to step up the length, I want a log not a stump. Hey do you have any advice on what I call staining. It's like I have done a girth workout without doing a girth workout, It looks like a stain to me, it doesn't hurt, but it looks just like I did a set of these all the time, any suggestions on how to remedy???

Yes indeed these give crazy girth. I was just speaking with Stillwantmore about the expansion I am getting from these. Nothing has ever done this for me, where I can see changes happening, very strange.

The stain you have, I am assuming, is a bruise that does not go away as you continue to train through it so it becomes re-bruised each time. I would say live with it and grab that girth or take a couple weeks off so you penis can heal.

I had to think how exactly to answer this. As with any exercise, it's going to be a judgement call for you to make - it will depend on your propensity for soreness, available time, time willing to put into it, etc. Like I said earlier, this is a highly customizable exercise. You could probably do it at a low intensity for an hour straight 3 times a day.

Ok I know that's not what you wanted to hear. Yes, I would advise doing it everyday (depending on your personal rest day convictions) as hard as you can. To make gains you will need to step outside of your comfort circle slightly. I think it's been said that there is a fine line between injury potential and gain potential.

So do your SSJs every day, and stop when you feel like it. I tend to stop when I feel like I've been thoroughly worked. It works out to between 30-45 minutes going as hard as I can.
