Alrighty, after 2 days and several hours, I have read this entire thread. It has great significance for me in my personal life. I am white, and the "mandingo" complex shaped my life and set me on the road to Penis Enlargement. Now here I am, in my early 60's, still trying to get bigger. I have never felt confident about my size or skill in decades and it has put a damper on my entire adult sex life. One other thing I'd like to point out, as this thread was basically, at least in the beginning, about whether or not Black men, on average, were bigger than other races.
The town I grew up in here in Canada had no black people. But for the past 20 years I've lived in a larger city that has grown rapidly. Although still predominantly white, there are a significant number of black people here now. Over the years, I have seen dozens of interracial black/white couples. But I have never, ever seen one where the woman was black. Not one. Ever. It seems obvious to me that white women, at least up here, pursue black men, and that the reverse, black women pursuing white men, is non-existent. Not here anyways.
So, in short, and to sum it up: I've only seen 2 black men naked, and both had bigger dicks than the dozens of white men I've seen. Could be an extraordinary coincidence, but I doubt it. And the fact that every single black/white couple I have ever seen in 20 years is the same: Black man, white woman.

Fillerup, I feel you my brother. Along with our fearless leader, Mike we're of similar age/demographic and our formative years were pre-internet so much of the information we had to work with was either first-hand (which was very limited) or anecdotal (which was prone to exaggeration), so our body of work (so to speak) was too narrow for an adequate representation of the truth. The fact that you've only witnessed 2 black men naked is probably more a testament of those two being 'loud and proud' and on display while the more average would be less overt (just a hunch). What I'm trying to say is that our sample-size was grossly under-represented and the only people that you heard about were either the 1% or an embellishment (often women's perceptions are skewed by expectation vs. fact).
My entire adult sex-life has also been 'pressurized' to meet some ideal out there that I manufactured in my head, so in many ways not knowing the truth about size/race/etc. created a fictitious goal/target that I'd never be able to reach...my 3 years here at [words=http://www.mattersofsize.com/join-now.html]MOS[/words] has helped me be better informed, but old habits a truly tough to break.

Thanks for the kind words, Big. I didn't know there were many, if any, men on this site in my age group (assuming you and Mike are at or near 60). But you're right, old habits and self-perception die hard, and I still struggle with inadequacy, despite knowing that from all available studies, I'm considerably larger than average. As far as the two black guys I saw, I don't think they were "loud and proud" and on display. After all, the first guy was alone in the shower, and the other guy was in a change room naked with a whole bunch of white guys, none of which were close in size to him. Again, coincidence? But I'm trying to let that all be water under the bridge. Nothing I can do about it anyway. IF black men are bigger on average, then that is what is so. My ex-wife, by the way, is now married to a hispanic man and living in San Diego. She has become a born again evangelical Christian, and I suspect penis size is now totally irrelevant to her. Never too old to put a smile on your face! I can understand you situation and I am sorry this affected you in this way. I just never saw a difference and it was a very large school with many students and hand to God, they were all about the same. With every race there will be anomalies but with black men it is much bigger stigma and they suffer more than their counterparts. Black men are expected to be huge and the facts are they share the same averages as their counterparts. So a white man has much less pressure than a black man in sex.
