I have decided on starting a questionnaire for women to find what the average penis size is to them. I think both men and women have a problem with estimating size so I am developing a pictorial identification chart when size will be chosen from a selection of images. Withing this chart will be other criteria for the female subjects to identify including pleasure, pain and non-pleasurable areas, color inconsistencies, vascularity, speech patterns and discussion concerning size if the subject was brought up. I Will also present them with a question portion that will ask about other information to help shed light on some age old questions about penis size. I want to know first hand answers to a lot of information that at the present time is cloudy.

I intend to web forum to help collect this data. I will also look for other outlets to help get the largest amount of participants from every type background.

If you would like to add questions to this survey please post them here. I will be working on this for the next few weeks and I would like to crunch all the pertinent information and present [words=http://www.mattersofsize.com/join-now.html]MOS[/words] members with a sample survey before I begin. Once we feel as a group that this survey is comprehensive enough I will begin the campaign. Please get involved so we have excellent results.
 
I always thought a more interesting approach might be to have a compiled survey of women AND gay men. Just to see how the two groups compare as far as penises are concerned. We all know men from all backgrounds want bigger penises. Straight, gay, bi, whatever. Size queens exist on both sides as well. Questions like the obvious ones:

"Given a choice of penis 'A' or, 'B' nevermind all the other factors like what the total package looks like or what kind of person is attached to the penis....which is more attractive visually to you?"

"Which type of penis do you find more arousing (maybe have a few different pictures or descriptions)?"

"We've all heard size doesnt matter...what are your personal feelings about that statement from your personal sexual experiences?"

"Why or why not does size matter?"

"Has the size of a partners' penis ever been a determining factor as to whether or not you stayed with that person in a sexual relationship?"

"What do YOU think the average size is?"

Just a few ideas I guess.
 
Whenever I asked or the topic was on size females and men always say 5 inches is average.The funny thing about it is that alot of people look at 5 or 6 inches to be small,until they hold a ruler up to their face actually look at what 5 inches look like.I've had plenty females say that their man was like 8 or 9 inches,but when i pulled a ruler out they all said they were more like 5 or 6 inches.I've also read that gay men have larger penises then straight men.I figure its because of them consuming extra testosterone when they go down on guys,and also them having their prostate stimulated duringanul sex

HA HA! Where the hell did you read that?? I've heard it speculated that 'some' gay men may have larger than average penises. BUT, that's the same as the age old wives' tale of black men being bigger on average than caucasians. Sure...maybe because gay men seem more focused on penises and penis size than the average straight man...more of them may be more informed about things like penis enlargement via pumping or other methods...but, just because a man is gay, is not going to make him have a bigger penis. Nor would "consuming extra testosterone when they go down on guys"....LOL, there is VERY LITTLE testosterone if any in semen. If giving men oral sex caused an increase in testosterone....wouldnt more women have hairy faces and deep voices?

Maybe with an anonymous web form you can get honest answers. As I've told you, I've been trying for months to get information from my wife. I still feel that she's not being completely honest with me. Of course many other factors are responsible for sexual pleasure besides penis size. But, I think that there is some deeply-engrained reasoning that won't let them admit how much better a bigger penis feels than an average one. Not that it is always better for all women, but that when it is they don't want to admit it.

Further, I think that the popular hype about "any size will do" and "only the first inch or two of the vagina can feel anything" has made some women who know better reluctant to admit it.

For example, if you've ever watched "Talk Sex With Sue" she always toes the "size doesn't matter" line with her advice. I've heard both men and women complain about small penis size, and she always gives the "party line" response above, and advise using other stimulation with fingers, toys, etc. However, one lady called one night and said her last boyfriend was 12". Her new guy was 6", and it wasn't the same. Whether the guy was really 12" or not, this lady sounded very sincere when she said it - she made a point to say it was really 12". She really sounded worried, as if something was wrong with her for feeliing that way ;-) I think it was the sincerity in her voice that caused Sue to stop and think on this one. She first suggested the lady do kegel exercises, but she'd already been doing them for years. The only other thing Sue suggested was that they get a penis extension sleeve ;-)

Great response thus far! Thanks guys. NYStong I will eliminate the inches question by making it a graphic choice. I think it is much easier for a woman to make a guesstimate when she is presented with a graphic image rather than a numerical measurement choice.

My plan is to eliminate as much room for error as possible. It will mean additional work after the survey is complete but I am willing to do it to get better answers.

How do you evaluate men from different races? Which race(s) seem more attractive to you than the others? Which size is ideal for you (by showing them some graphical materials)? etc.

Great questions teoman! I was not even thinking of the race issue. Maybe we could also ask why they find any particular race attractive.
 
Yes DLD, with these questions we can learn what women generally think about men from different races and if they believe some myths or not. Also, the effect of physical appearance of men on ladies can also be asked.
 
Do you plan to use photographs for graphics? If so, what frame of reference? How many different sizes should be represented? To be fair, concerning race it would be a good test to have the same sizes in white and black, possibly an "in between" color as well.

Obviously, any graphic must have a point of reference to judge size. I know that DLD has studied this in order to accurately judge sizes of adult entertainment actors. I'm wondering how much variation that there is in hand size? A dick with one or better two hands wrapped around it seems that it would be the most accurate, allowing for hand size variation. Other methods, such as face height or width are rather difficult to judge accurately. Even though they can appear to be in the same "plane" in a photo, in reality a very small difference in angle can result in major distortions of relative size. DLD has illustrated this well in his penis size study.

DLD, in my surfing I found a site which has the largest selection of dildos I've ever seen on the net. This place has some inhuman monster dildoes, many that I've never seen elsewhere. I think you should check this out, as many of the dildos are pictured next to a coke can for reference and the site lists the actual insertable length, various diameters etc. Not only is it good visual information to compare sizes, many of the reviews are very interesting reading as well and should prove conducive to your study. Both male and female "size queens" post their reviews, often they directly compare different dildoes and how they feel. "I use the Jeff Stryker model as a warmup for my John Holmes" ;-)

yeah definatley push on the race issue, because i look white but i am considered a Cape Verdean (which isn't black it's considered it's own race. but we're darker skinned since we are located off the coast of Africa) and when i tell women that they just say "ohhhhh" and look down at my junk.

i don't know how you can fraze the questions but definatley push on the belief if black dudes are bigger because from that responce i keep getting it seems like that theory is alive and well

I've read this also - can't remember where (it was long ago), but I do remember it was a reputable source - i.e., not a adult entertainment site, etc. In fact the study said that sexual preference was the determining factor in penis size - more so than race. This surprised me.
However, I don't think it has anything to do with jism-eating or having the prostate stimulated during anal sex. It could be some other genetic cause (research has shown that a certain portion of the brain - not sure which, I'm not a medical person - was enlarged pronouncely in gay men). Or it could be conditioning. Some guys with huge dongs may have had bad experiences at an early age by scaring girls away....maybe only some old perverts would have sex with them, etc.
My wife's sister dated a guy years ago, when she was about 18 years old. He was very effeminate, I swore he was gay. But they all said I was "jealous" because he was "so cute." I learned in one of my psychology classes that homosexual males do, in fact, tend to have larger penises that straight men. It has to do with hormones. In fact, gay men have more androgen that straight men. That's not to say that ALL gay men have larger penises, but there is a strong correlation between natural sexual orientation(that is, NOT by choice, but my physiology) and penis size. But, it does not have to do with CONSUMING testosterone.

Gay men tend to have a thicker corpus collosum as do women in comparison to straight men. This is the band that splits the brain into the left/right hemispheres.

The fact that this site and many others like it exist is enough to answer your own question(s).

Of course size matters. Of course chicks like big dicks. Although most of the time, size seems to matter more to guys than girls.

Besides, who cares what chicks think? Just keep Penis Enlargementing and everything will work itself out, right?

I don't think its so much that women wont give correct answers, Ive failed to have met a women yet that can measure a penis accurately. What I'm saying is women can quite easily say a 5" penis is an 8" one and vis versa. The only real way is to get guys of different sizes to each shag loads of women and then ask them "which felt best"

Yes, I agree, this is why a large portion of the survey will be graphic based to avoid numerical error.
 
A lot of people say that women are poor judges of size. Yeah, maybe when it comes to giving actual numerical measurements. But I've been thinking this for a while:

If you had something crammed up inside your body, wouldn't you remember how big it was? They know! At least by feel. Trying to translate that into a measurement, well, that's another story....unless a chick wants to carry a ruler around with her which would be really fuckin' tacky.

Are you gonna carry a suitcase full of different sized dildos, and make them choose the closest one?

Well, my point is that around 10" seems to be the largest size seen in the real world or in adult entertainment. I'm not promoting this lady or her site, I too don't find her attractive although apparently in some of her earlier videos she was much slimmer.

I find this interesting, I posted some time back about the heavy metal groupie penis survey. I got blasted for that too, but I think that it's useful information: "real world" reports from females about penis size. I just think its kinda ignorant to categorize people as gay or straight- sexuality is different for every person. you guys have to admit that being hung seems to make a guy look more proportioned. Asthetically he looks better. Does that make you gay? Thinking somone looks good and wanting to hook up with them are two different things. I tend to think that you either love people or hate them. Which would make us all a little homosexual. Just take the attitude to be chill with everyone and youll find a comfortable zone of sexuality. no worries..
