Hey has anyone had any success with the tying method after a frenuloplasty that didn't relieve enough slack, is that even possible? My frenulum was released by a urologist and kind of puckered at a lower point on the glands and stitched up. Not happy with the restriction this has caused as I can't retract fully smooth. Hoping the tiying method will help relive the rest. Had the surgery 4 weeks ago, but I'm not sure if I should wait a few months for it to completely heal or to have a go soon? I am really wanting a full smooth retraction. Can post some pics tomorrow. Anyone been in a similar situation? Any help would be great thanks.

I don't need to tell you its a sensitive area we're talking about and I'm sure there will be some swelling that needs to go down before any further action is taken. You may even tie off in the wrong place! I am not a medical person, just giving my personal opinion of what I would do. Good luck with your future plans.

Just let it heal a few months, let the scar become softer and stretchier etc. My only fear is that leaving it to heal that long, the scar may heal really flat in a way that won't be able to tye under it to relieve the slack but it's probably too early to say what it will even look like fully healed at this point. Will try and post something tonight after work. Thanks.

I'm not sure you will have to wait that long depending on how quickly your body repairs itself. You will know when the time is right as you are the only one that knows your body better than anyone else! Time was a big issue for me, I was so impatient between each tie, almost wishing my life away! I too am now waiting for things to heal before I make another tie but the time doesn't go quick enough. How sad is that, I have now focused my life on my 'penis sculpture'. Lol. Good luck!
Hey thanks MrJ. It's kind of dawned on my how long this surgery will take to heal fully and I'm ok with it. I would rather wait to see what it looks like healed with the skin nice and soft and smooth before trying the tying method. It's still really tender all over 4 weeks post op and I have tried it out and the release the urologist gave me have given me instant improvements and feels great. Its definitely not the end point where I want to be, but I think if I just let my body heal it and have the main scar settle down I will be in a better position to make tying decisions. It's so raw and tender right now. Will review in a few months once it starts to take shape I think. Thanks for your help.
Just another thing to aid your recovery, try gently massaging pure coconut oil into the scar which will keep things supple alternating days with vaseline. Something I am still using with great success. Again, its something I've done, not saying you have to. Really want the skin to heal really supple and stretchy before trying out the tying method. Have also found some frenulum stretches online I have heard really help post surgery but you have to be diligent. Starting today, really wanting to aid this healing process in anyway I can.

I have an update to make, some might have read my previous post. I cut my frenulum with a razor blade since I'm somewhat impatient. I used lidocaine to numb the area, it works in minutes. I think I did a good job cutting my frenulum. Ok, so after half a year I decided it wasn't enough, my penis head still bend when I really retracted my foreskin. Frenulum was still attached to head by about 1/4 to 1/2 cm. Then I decided to do another cut with the blade, but it was too close to my penis and was too scared to cut, I ended up doing a half job which healed right away, fortunately there was no scar tissue. After this I decided to do the tying, I figured it would not heal back (as in reattach) because it would cut as the tissue died. I decided to use thin polyester thread (the kind used to attach buttons to shirts). I have some recommendations and some warnings based on my experience. The thin thread is great, great, great for cutting. It cut about 2 mm of frenulum in just 3 days. The thinner the thread the faster it cuts. Now comes the warning. This kind of thread is non elastic, so once it cuts some tissue, it becomes too loose to finish the job. In my case I ended up finishing the job with a razor blade again, this time it was easier because I had the thread as a guide of when/where to stop. Since the thread was so thin it was impossible to re-tie. This time I used nothing to numb it since the tissue was 80% dead, there was less than a quarter drop of blood. I knew I was going to need another tie to completely detach my penis head from the frenulum. So there I have my penis with a recent cut and no pain, what did I do? I retracted it got an erection and since there was no pain I contracted my muscles making my penis swell instantaneously, this caused one second of sharp pain and a completely detached glans, it ripped through the remaining frenulum. Oh the freedom lol.
Frenulum tying: pros: easy, fast job, fast healing, no pain, no blood. Cons: slow process, multiple sessions, may need to finish the job with a blade (I was not the only one on this forum who finished the job with a blade)
Blade: pros: fast (pretty much the only pro), only one to two sessions. Cons: lots of blood, painful if not correctly numbed, takes longer to heal, higher possibility of an infection, the blood can get you to cut blindly.
Here are the products I recommend for tying according to my experience.

Regarding my story, I did a successful first tie, then i tried to do the second tie a few time but i failed, the thread didn't cut the frenulum.
Now i tried to do the second tie by doing only 1 knot (surgeon's knot) and leaving a few cm of remaining thread so i can tighten the knot when it gets loose, i hope this time it will work, this time i also pierced the frenulum looking it with a torch, trying to tie when the frenulum is more thin. If you have suggestions please tell me.

But don't take it too "literally", it depends also on how your frenulum is, better thing is seeing the frenulum in backlight with some torch (or the led torch of your phone) and try to pierce where the frenulum is thinner.
Also, it can be a good idea not to do all in a single tie, but do 2-3 smaller ties.

Probably they have all except for the sutures. If you don't want to buy them online, you can use the "stretch magic" thread, if you look in the first pages you'll find the proper diameter (i don't remember it, but usually, less diameter is better)krest509;739152 said:

I've added some photos and hope someone could tell me. In the picture you can see clearly that i've got an minor wound right know. If it's possible, could someone point where I should start tying?

Regarding "how the frenulum comes off", in my case the knot became tighter by himself, and it cutted all the frenulum. In other cases it maybe necessary to re-tie the knot (if it became loose).

Thanks for the info. Currently i'm letting the wound heal and then i want to start tying. I'll probably start searching for the items i need to perform this.
If i want to remove the frenulum completly, is it the best idea to make two ties with two holes or one hole with two ties to the beginning of the corona and one to the start of the frenulum?

4 times a day is a bit excessive, 3 should be enough. First thing after getting up, wash with plain soap, reapply antiseptic cream. Repeat middle of your day, and finally make this job the last thing you do before going to bed. Pull back your foreskin as far as you can without too much pain when peeing too. Erections help as they make the skin tight around the cord which helps the cutting action. Always put antiseptic cream on the site as this will keep everything clean while the cord cuts through. Don't be afraid to put another tie in using the same hole to make the original tie tighter therefore speeding up the process. Hope this helps, good luck!

BANG i feel like i got it exactly where i wanted it...
As you can see from the picture I did it a bit close to the head which i felt is a perfect spot for me..
I want to disconnect there first...
I had a bit of problem with the Surgeon Knots..
Had to single knot it, then Surgeon knots that sucker..
