Hi guys, first thanks for the thread.
So this looked so easy that I gave it a chance, but ... has anyone experienced vein dilatation on glans ?
I mean I tried to tie my frenulum like this picture, and had to cut the knot 48h later because of this.
(I actually wanted to do it earlier but my friend, who helped me through the process, told me to wait, that I was too impatient and I just should wait for the blood to reroot)

I am wondering if it's because my glans seems to "dive" into the top of frenulum this issue happened.. It's like I've tied a very small part of glans that's now scar tissue.
So it's been 2 weeks now i'm waiting for it to heal but the veins are still inflated (and even more when I wank).

Anyway, I'm booked for an urologist tomorrow, I'm hoping he'll be able to do anything to fix it.
It's very stressful though.

What advice did the urologist give? I hope that he was able to take some of the stress away for you.

Many thanks necrojb173,

Your answer and post on the previous site is very helpful! Also I have the impression that you got a very good result for yourself and you are very happy with it!

This Monday I will go to a second urologist for a second opinion, and I maybe he knows about tying and can do it instead of frenuplasty or support me in any kind (you recommend numbing, so maybe the least he can give me is some EMLA cream, otherwise nothing keeps me from doing it without it .

So in any case, Tuesday will be the day I hope to report that the procedure was done (most possible by myself) ;)

I will use a betadine bath the sterilize the area and also the single use rubber gloves. Stitching through the suture needle and tying the knot with the fingers should work equally good, as a fisherman I am used to hold fishing hooks and tie knots by hand - the procedure looks pretty similar to that LOL
And after that applying iodine ointment several times per day should keep it clean as you suggest.

In case the knot is not tight enough in the first place (not sure if the surgeons knot keeps the tension after the first winding before applying the second knot above?) I could leave some centimeters of filament on both ends to open and retighten the knot some days later in case it did not cut through?

Some things got in my way and delayed me, but today I finally was able to do the procedure!

I must say it went very well despite the massive stress I felt. I showered first, then cleaned the frenulum and gloves with iodine.

The biggest problem I had was that I only have two hands. So it wasnt easy to grab the frenulum with the left hand, and in the right hand I held the needle. Also I underestimated the amount of pressure I needed to pierce the needle trough! The pain was no fun but tolerable, didnt use anything to numb. There was no bleeding I could see, and the hole looks very small thanks to the atraumatic suture needle I used.

Tying the knot very tight was not that easy too. Before I could finish the first knot and lay over the second knot, it started to open up slightly. But I guess we will see if its tight enough.

So I am very glad I found this very helpful and encouraging forum, and say thanks for the support so far!!!

Now lets see how it heals. I applied iodine cream, not sure yet how to best care for the wound over the next days.

Any recommendations will be very welcomed!

Hi guys,

Thinking about it lately and I don't know how I've gone so long without possibly realising it that my frenulum might be shorter than normal. Does it look shorter than normal in the photo? Have been sexually active for the last 15 years and actually snapped the frenulum my first time having sex. Let it heal and thought nothing of it as it never happened again. But when I think about it, when I'm fully erect I can feel the frenulum slightly holding the head back and almost feels like it would snap again if I really push it out. I also feel that maybe it will snap again if I go very hard during sex.

So first of all I'm asking does it seem shorter than normal and secondly would I benefit from having it sorted. I'm considering using the method myself even though I'm a but anxious about the pain and whether it will heal right.

Also i've tried some exercises to increase length over the last couple years, on and off, probably about a month at most. Again retrospectively thinking, I believe I made some gains quite quickly and have now only recently connected the dots to another problem I have that may well be related. When i ejaculate it doesn't squirt out anymore, it's almost like there is a blockage and it forces itself out slowly. I realised the other day that the opeing on my glans seems to be closed quite tightly when the shaft is fully extended, caused by the short frenulum perhaps? I believe it may be due to the exercises as if the length has increased then the frenulum will be pulling even more, hence closing the opening on the glans?
Thanks

Hi,

My frenulum has bothered me for some time now. First, i tried stretching for like 1.5 months, but the results were minimal. After that i found this thread and seeing so many success stories i did the tying myself. The tie broke at the morning of day 7. I used a 0.16 mm fishing line and an antiseptic cream. The piercing wasn't all that painful and i only started to notice some pain after day 2. Now I'm going to heal and and do the 2nd tie after. I definitely see some improvement, but not what i wish for quite yet.

I got some questions -
1) How do i get rid off the lump of skin that got left over?
2) And do you guys think that i have minor phimosis too and should do some stretching or removing the frenulum would solve the problem completely?

Thank you!

Hello everyone. I'm a new member to the forums having just registered, but have been frequenting them for a while now. I decided it's time to register and hopefully add my own knowledge to this place! :)

Now, i've been doing my own Penis Enlargement routine off and on since the start of the year, but sadly have had to stop to address a problem. After doing some research on the internet it appears I have a case of Phimosis and Frenulum Breve.

Since I was a child my frenulum has always been on the short side and i've always seen a small white ring on the foreskin when it was retracted, but none of this has ever caused any problems up until recently. Over the period of about 6 months my foreskin has gradually become dry during the day and after sexual activity it is left cracked/teared. Eventually I decided to use some Palmer's Cocoa Butter to moisterize and help reduce any scarring or stretch marks. It certainly helps with the dryness but doesn't seem to do much for the tightness. I have combined stretching techniques with massages for a couple months at a time, but I keep getting tears and cracks, and have had to wait for them to heal before starting again. Two nights ago I had my first tear on the actual frenulum itself after simply retracting the foreskin to urinate (something I have been doing every time I urinate to help make the foreskin more pliable and for better hygiene).

I took to the internet once again to see if there is anything else that can be done. I do not want circumcision and would prefer to avoid a frenuloplasty as that involves removing the frenulum from what I can gather. After browsing for a couple hours I came across this webpage Tying Up the Frenulum

Has anyone heard of this?

It talks of a solution that involves tying a suture through the frenulum under local anaesthetic (EMLA cream would suffice as it temporarily numbs the skin for use of needles or stitches without pain). These sutures/knots have to be tied tight enough so they can cut into the skin over time. After the first day you bathe your whole penis head in some warm water 3-4 times a day for 15 mins to help keep the area soft and pliable. I think this is done every day until healed. Antiseptic cream is applied liberally so as to not get an infection. From what I have read, you do one knot at a time with the first knot at the top of the frenulum and close to the shaft or head. After about 10 days it should be done and you can pull the forskin down with great ease. You keep repeating these sutures from the top to the bottom until you are happy with the amount of slack on the frenulum and foreskin.

The guy in that link seems to have done a neat job without any major scarring and most importantly without any removal of the frenulum. As I understand it the frenulum heals into itself or into the shaft.

When I found out about this method I searched for more information, but I haven't been able to find much more than what's already in that link. I did find another page however, where this guy had performed the surgery on himself because it's such a simple procedure and cost effective.

I have compiled a bullet point list of what's needed and the basic steps for performing this Frenulum Tying if anyone is interested?

I'm willing to perform this simple surgery on myself if I can find enough information on the procedure and ofcourse the time and privacy to get everything together. It appears to be an effective alternative to eliminate the restrictiveness of a tight frenulum and foreskin without having to resort to the removal of tissue like what would happen in a frenuloplasty and circumcision.

Anyone know anything about Frenulum Tying?? :)

SHORT BRAKE

The penile frenulum is like a small strap that connects the foreskin to the underside of the glans. In young adults who begin to have sexual activity it can break completely or partially causing pain and bleeding, sometimes quite painful.
Frenulum breakage is a relatively common reason for consultation in a hospital emergency room. If this happens to you, you should remove the foreskin backwards and press the brace between your thumb and index finger for 5 minutes to stop the bleeding. Afterwards, sexual rest is recommended for 2-3 weeks until you have healed completely, and make an appointment with your urologist to assess a complete section on a scheduled basis
If you continue to bleed or if you are not cold-blooded enough to perform the digital compression maneuver yourself, then you should go to the emergency room. The doctor will perform the compression with his fingers and, if necessary, will give you some stitches. Then, go to the urologist.

At other times, the frenulum does not break, but it pulls and bothers you with sexual relations. In this case, you should also go to your urologist to assess the surgery. With the operation, you will stop having discomfort and you will avoid the frenulum breaking.

The frenulum section or frenuloplasty is simple. It is performed under local anesthesia, lasts about 30 minutes, and does not require admission. Normally there are reabsorbable stitches that fall out on their own. In the postoperative period, sexual rest is recommended for 3-4 weeks or until all the stitches have fallen out. Rarely are there any complications secondary to the surgery.

As someone who carefully researched solutions for Frenulum Breve and who eventually made three successful ties one after another - inspired totally by what I had read in this thread - I find it very strange indeed that anyone would decide to make a post apparently advocating an alternative solution, and an invasive one at that. Why, elburrodecali, would anyone consider frenulopasty or frenectomy ahead of tying? Beats me.

I agree with FrenBreve. It's not what this topic is about, it's specifically about an alternative to the procedure you posted and I'm not even sure who it was aimed at in the first place?

this is the only forum that has a running success in frenulum removal. Not even the best surgeon can do as well as some of these men have done in the brotherhood. We do not need another method as the method we use is solid and has work for years. Frenulum tying has not had one injury! I completely and absolutely support frenulum tying and I am also someone to has removed his frenulum.

Not sure what elburrodecali's problem is, but never mind... the results in this group speak for themself, no frenuloplasty could achieve such good and minimally invasive results...

very goods news regarding my 1st tying!

So yesterday, 6 days since tying, I had the feeling that the knot almost cut through the frenulum.

Pulling on the nylon thread was pretty painful, so I decided to use an exacto knife (new blade, sterilised with ethanol and iodine) to cut through the rest. I placed the sharp tip of the knife to the knot and before I could do anything, it had already cut through with a weird sound, the knot came loose immediately and my frenulum was separated in a perfect way.

The skin still needs to heal a little, but here are the results right now. Its a really big difference to before, but I guess the skin will need lots of stretching to free up the glans some more, maybe even a 2nd tie?

Now that the frenulum band is gone, the skin gap without it should be able to stretch with Betamethasone cream?

I will show the results to my urologist and ask if he can prescribe Betamethasone 0,1%

Great work Schwrik - what a difference that tie has made!

So you see the extra freedom tying it has given me! Three ties did the trick.

Very nice work. I’m always impressed with the work done in this forum. I know that I started this whole thing by accident but you guys have taken that accident and made it into an incredible miracle.

Hi guys,

I've been a fairly dormant member of this site while on-and-off with retracting my foreskin over the years. Now I've renewed focus for permanent retraction, and considering frenulum tying as a way to help achieve this, and - I believe - improve the aesthetics of my penis.

I've attached some pics. I'd really welcome your thoughts on where best to tie (i.e. what part of the frenulum) and how deep? I am fairly nervous about medical stuff, so wouldn't want to try and do too much on the first tie.

Cheers

Your frenulum look so much identical to mine before it was removed. What are your plans?

Ideally I'd rather it wasn't there, but don't really want to go the surgical route. So tying sounds a good option - would probably rather do small steps rather than bite off too much at once. If that makes sense. Is that possible?

Very possible and in your case necessary since you have so much frenulum. Take your time like a surgeon! No rush to make a clean cut. I would do a series of ties to accomplish goal.

When I first considered tying, I thought that all I needed to do was sever my frenulum and that would be it - job done! After thinking about it much more carefully, I realised that what I actually needed to do was detach the frenulum from the glans. With my first tie, I pierced close to the glans about 6mm down from the meatus. I was so pleased with the result that I later made two further ties, one of about 6mm and another of about 3mm. I could not have wished for a better result. Many others on this forum have posted their success stories and some have included images. Nonetheless, you make your own decision before tying! If you do go ahead, go one small step at a time. You have a better chance of being pleased with the result. And it’s fair to say there’s no going back, so do it carefully if you decide to go ahead.

Hi guys! A little follow up on my side.
So, in total I've done 3 ties, and here you can see the results.
The last one was done 2 months ago, so it has fully healed since then.
So far i'm very happy with the outcome, but a little piece remains right under the glans so much so that in fact, it still attaches the head to the shaft. Hence, as you can see in one pic below the head now tends to be kinda "pointy" downwards when I pull on the foreskin.

That's precisely what i don't want, I really aim to completely free the frenulum in order keep the head straight even when i pull on the foreskin.

Do you think it's doable? Can i tie again without issue? Could it become dangerous?

As you see, i still have room to tie, the frenulum is still "alive" if i may say.
It it possible to "kill" it completely safely?

Sorry for the long post and the numerous questions.

I faced exactly the same dilemma after my second tie. But eventually I went ahead with a third, very small, tie and I have to say I am pleased with the final result. Images show after two ties (first image) and after making the third tie (second image).View attachment 1827651

Hi, thanks for your input!
In fact, if i had what you have left, i'd still want to get rid of it. I have less than you it appears, but still i want to remove the little bit left.

Does someone here think it could be harmful to tie again with what i have left?

I really really want to pull my forrskin while my glans stays straight ?

When healing, some of the leftover skin retracts itself. I did the second tie because the remaining skin still not freed out completely of my penis glans. Now is better :), almost perfectly I can say. I have to get rid of that piece of remaining frenulum from the shaft (bottom) from the first tie and the frenulum will be completely gone.
Please sir can i get you contact info !!!!

Hi everyone. Thank you for sharing your experience . I would like to perform this procedure myself but i am worried about what a user said about it a couple of pages back, that it can destroy your urethra for the rest of your life by causing meatal stenosis.
My questions for you is: Did you encountered problems with your urethra or any other part of the penis long time after completing the procedure and healing?(Especially those of you who performed it years ago)
( Sorry for my english, it is not my native language)

Hi guys!

I finally decided to go ahead with one more (hopefully last) tie to get rid of the remaining part of frenulum, and to reduce the "pointyness" of my glans following the previous tie.

It's quite a deep tie this time, i tried to pierce as close as possible to the shaft and as high as possible, right under the glans.
The tissue i pierced was rather thick, maybe because it's some kind of scar tissue from the last ties??
It was not that painful, it was rather easy this time also.

I'm now on day 3 after the procedure, and it looks like it's evolving positively.
I try to stretch, and pull as hard as i can stand on the skin under the tie in order to reduce the time necessary to cut through.

I hope i tied it enough, otherwise i may have to change the thread. We shall see!

As you will see in the pics, i have now a little piece of frenulum kinda "hanging" on the glans, near the meatus.
It's not really nice, so i will probably go to a urologist soon to have it removed professionally. I feel i've done enough tinkering there myself! I don't want to end up with a botched dick...

Anyways i'll keep you posted on the outcome!

Hi, so after reading up on the subject i decided sunday to “tie the knot” the only question i have is is possible to masturbate while the tie is still in because of the anticipation off the results i am getting blue balls.

Is experiencing pain towards the end of the tying normal? I didn't experience any pain at the beginning or a couple of days in. Just after a week, it's more pain full and it looks like it's at the point where the knot should come out.

I've torn my frenulum a while ago. Tbh I really regret not being more careful because I've lost a lot of sensitivity.

Also I have a piece of detached frenulum dangling from my glans now as you can see.

Do you think it would be a good idea to removed it by tying it?

If it’s any consolation it looks like a really clean job. You’ll eventually get all of your feelings back how did you do some deep tissue massage at the affected area it’ll help it heal quicker

Thank you for your reply.

It's been over a year now.

My frenulum tore right in the middle, where the foreskin folds over itself. I had to jerk off without uncovering my foreskin or else the tear would open again. I did so for 6 months but the tear hadn't healed yet.

So i got pissed off and decided to tear it completely, I just jerked off and it finally tore, there was nearly no bleeding (as opposed to the first tear which bled profusely for around a minute).

What kind of lotion should i massage the area with?

Do you have any sensitivity left after your frenuloplasty?

frenulum removal did not start happening until I made it happen by mistake ? One day I was measuring my penis with an old-school wooden ruler with that sharp blade that goes up the side. Trying to get a good bone press measurement the ruler slipped and removed my frenulum in one fell swoop! Pain was ridiculous and it took about 3 to 4 weeks to heal. After I healed I gained a half inch in length automatically. Obviously I realize that the frenulum was holding back a half inch of penis. So when I made my post about my experience I never imagined people would start doing it on purpose...If I never reported that half inch I don’t think that frenulum removal would’ve gone anywhere.

I think i might have gained half a centimeter in length, but i'm not really sure tbh. Also the loss of sensitivity isn't worth it. I got ED now.

sensitivity will always come back eventually and a very quick way to speed this up is by doing deep tissue massage to the affected area. Give it time my brother and it will come back. I’ll also pray for you.

Thank you.

At the end of the day I have no idea what's causing my ED, it might be something else than the frenulum tear.

I will go see a doctor about this.

Update: ok so the reason why i tied is because i could not retract as far as i wanted without pain, and this also had an effect on my sex life as it would get uncomfortable.
i did the first knot on the 24th of September, and everything has healed nicely without any complications. I want to do another one, just so that there wont be any pull at all. I must admit that never in my life was i able to retract as far as i can now, and i love it, everything is nice and loose and more fun. Personally i am very happy with the result and don’t think one would say its ”home made”.
So the BIG question now is, where to do the second tie? I would appreciate any suggestions.
I indicated on the pics where i made the first tie.

Second tie done, i numbed the area with a small drop of clove oil, just rubbed it in and gave it a few minutes, no pain what so ever. (Just don’t get the oil anywhere else, just the part where you are going to tie) this time i didnt go as deep as with the first one, i will rather tie more times cutting through less skin.
so now the waiting starts again.
