Hi guys!
Long time no see!
Since the break I discovered Aaron Electrocautery Pen by Bovie Medical to corrent frenulum imperfections. Which I tried already on my scars after tying my frenulum and worked very well under local anaesthetic. The photos are coming. As the device makes 1200 Celcium at the pint of connection with the tissue its quite risky to mess it up with shaky hands :)

It's an interesting idea Brahmanion, i'm curious to see pics.

Meantime i bought all the things: 3/0 monofilament nylon suture, lidocaine cream, antiseptic cream. I also learned how to do surgeon's knot.
I'll do the tie in the next days.
Do you have any last advice before I start?

Complete failure.
Lidocaine simply doesn't work, it's still painful.
Frenulum is strong as fuck, i didn't manage to pierce it.

For lidocaine cream you have to wait at least 1 hour with your foreskin completely closed. You have to by Xylocaine Spray 10mg and it works just fine but wait 30-40 min before to do something.

This is electrocautery pen: Single-Use Fine Tip Aaron Electrocautery Pen by Bovie Medical - Painful Pleasures Burns very weel and if someone want to to it himself on his own dick then sedative pills have to be taken otherwise shaking hands can make not correct movements and the healing scar will not be perfect.

I will prepare photos soon.

on painfulpleasures.com you can also order good percing needles:
STERILIZED CURVED PIERCING NEEDLES 18G-16-14G
Gauge 1.2mm ~ 16g
Sterilized Curved Piercing Needles 18g-16-14g PRICE PER 1 - Painful Pleasures

STERILIZED PIERCING PRECISION NEEDLE - SHARP PIERCING NEEDLE
Gauge 1.6mm ~ 14g
Length 48mm ~ 1-7/8"
Sterilized Piercing Precision Needle - Sharp Piercing Needle - Price Per 1 Needle - Painful Pleasures

I used this setup for double tie technique to create the hole and place 12G STAINLESS STEEL CAPTIVE BEAD RING
Diameter 13mm ~ 1/2"
Ball Size 5mm ~ 3/16"
12g CUSTOM Stainless Steel Captive Bead Ring 5/16" - 2-3/4" by Jeremy Smith - Painful Pleasures
or you can use other ring which you can also find on this website.

after 1 week when the piercing hole is healed with the help of Bepanthen then you can make 2 ties and eliminate frenulum this way. Read previous conversations to understand the techniques.

Wow thanks for all this insight and even links to these tools. Very helpful thank you so much! Appreciate your work.

@Brahmanion:
Thanks for your answer.
So you prepared the holes with a piercing needle, and then you used that holes to do the tie? What are the benefits compared to directly pierce&tie?
You also expanded the hole with a piercing. If I pierce the frenulum with a needle and I don't use a piercing, will the hole remain or disappear?

I thought lidocaine worked in 10-15 min. Next time i'll leave it for an hour, and see if it's better. However, i noticed that pain depends also on which part of the frenulum is pierced.
I found piercing the frenulum difficult not only for the pain, but also because frenulum seems too strong, difficult to pierce. Maybe it's only a psychological thing, cut our own flesh it's difficult, and maybe i don't use the necessary force.

ps sorry for my bad english, if you don't understand something tell me and i'll try to explain better

no problem.
with double tie technique you can eliminate a piece of flesh in the middle of 2 ties and the healed piercing hole forms very smooth scarification. You still can make one hole and one tie then you cut the skin in the middle, which also works fine. All depends from the size and thickness of frenulum you have. Without photos its difficult to siggest something.

If you pierce the frenulum then the hole will dissapear with time and if the peircing hole is formed and healed and then you remove the ring then the formed hole will also disappear with time.

Hi, after many failed attemps,i finally did it!
After reading the Brahmanion's post, i decided to use a straight needle (not a piercing needle, but a simple syringe needle) instead of the built-in curved needle in the suture. I pierced the frenulum with the needle (i saw no blood), then i passed the thread through the needle. Then i removed the needle. Then i made the knot.
I used a "surgeon's knot". My only fear is: is the knot tight enough? I thightened it as much as possibile, but it seems that the "triple loop" knot is more difficult to tie with respect to a "normal knot", isn't it. Hope it's tight enought.
Now i don't feel any pain. I used a disinfectant and then I applied an antiseptic cream.
I may add sone pics tomorrow or in the next days, if you have any questions tell me.

Hi, it's been almost two days since i did the tie.
I felt no pain in these 2 days, so my doubt is still the same: is the tie tight enought?
I decided to wait at least other 2 days, and then i'll have to decide what to do: do nothing and wait again or remake the knot? (and in that case: how to remake the knot? remove the old knot and make a new one, or do another tie near the older tie?)

I tried to take some photos but it's difficult to photograph a such small area with good quality, so pictures are not very good, however i decided to post them anyway, here are the pics:

before tie: https://i.imgur.com/1tGhLSu.jpg it's a very short frenulum, for this reason i decided to try frenulum tie

after tie (now): https://i.imgur.com/MV7XTr6.jpg https://i.imgur.com/4ys6vc2.jpg

If you have any idea/suggestion please tell me

hi max999, your tie looks good, if you are not sure this not so tight then apply another tie on top of that. When I first time tied my fren I applied numerous ties on top of the first tie and it worked very good, after you can cut old not tight ties.

Your idea is reasonable but in my case it's difficult to find the hole, probably is too near to the glans, or just too small. I'll try to leave the knot for a few more days, is nothing happens i'll cut the knot and remake it, hoping that the hole will be visible.

you can use the needle like above and you will always find the hole :)

I can't see the attachment :(

EDIT:
Ok, i found where is the hole. I also noticed that the nylon thread is enough rigid to pass through the hole (that is still small) without using a needle.
The difficult part is to cut the old knot. It's too small to cut with a small scissor or similar things. At the end i managed to cut all the "extra-knots" with a nail clipper (something like this: https://i.imgur.com/YH8NaqT.jpg).
So now i've only the first knot (the one with "double loop").
This evening i'll try to cut the old knot and remake the tie. I think this time i'll use a normal "single loop" knot, which is easier to tie tight.

Better you cut old knot after you made second tie ebcause first knot will be as a grip for second. And if you eliminate the first then its possible you wont be able to place second at the same place. I think better to use good quality hairdresser scissors because they have very sharp edges on top.

So I've been reading this thread for a while and I have a question. From what I can tell, I have one vein in my frenulum (I can't find the other) and it goes right through that tough stringy spot where I would be tying off. Basically, that one vein is gonna be in the knot that I'm planning. Is this dangerous at all? Any precautions or prep work I should do? Or am I unusual enough that I should talk to my doc and not do it myself?

I'm on day 12 now. Big progress in the last days, now only a small skin bridge is left, i think it will break in the next days.
I was a little worried in the past days because my progress seemed too slow (other people said it broke in about 7 days), but now i see it's really working.
I took some photos in the last days, i'll post a complete "photographic reportage" in the next days.

If you don't have particular reasons for not going to the doctor, you can talk to him and get a "frenuloplasty" (google it), it's a fast surgery, healing in about 1 month. A "professional" surgery is by definition more secure then a do-it-by-yourself approach, and theoretically it should give better results.
Consider also that the frenuloplasty (see this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EPVYnbDaPhk) is different from the "tying method", i don't think a doctor will use an "unconventional" method as frenulum tying.

In this forum (and in some other forums) many people used the tying method, and nobody had infections or similar problems. So we can say that is a "reasonably secure" method.

Regarding to the vein, the tie will stop the blood flow and then the tissue will die. So it should not be a great problem. It can be a problem if someone use the "cutting method" (cutting the frenulum with a blade), giving massive bleeding. So, probably you can include the vein in the tie, but not pierce the frenulum through the vein because it can cause bleeding.

Here is an interesting thread: Fixing tight foreskins and phimosis: For the attention of paul B and Jim re: frenulum tying, ligation etc opinions please . Read the posts of PaulB (he's a surgeon if i understand correctly), he also talks about the veins in the frenulum.
For my experience i didn't see big veins in my frenulum, only zones where the skin is more thick and zones when the skin is more thin (and i pierced when it was thin).

So, look at the pros and cons and decide by yourself what to do .

Heyyyy thank you so much for the thread and for sharing your experiences. This thread encouraged me to tie my frenulum to get rid of it. I am done slicing off the toughest joining but there's another one to go to make it even more comfortable to pull back. I have made a video too which I'll try to edit by tomorrow. But you guys have been a lot helpful. Thank you :)
