invalid attachment. what thread did you use? elastic? did it crush the frenulum or rather cut it? do you see the frenulum shrinking , is there some kind of a hole where the thread squeezes the frenulum?

On my tie I noticed that the suture cut through a part of the frenulum at night and now i have a small wound there, i'm tightening the knot daily, don't know if it helps tho.

i can reupload the image:

think i would need a magnifying glass too inspect that tie. same with mine. will go and but one in a shop

UPDATE

Hello again.

After my first tie I had the little "flag" left over at the top of the tie near the glans. I used Palmer's cocoa butter lotion and the flag is gone. I guess it healed and just laid down.
My glans was able to be exposed with any pain but it was still tight. I had trouble finding the vein. I used a flashlight and even a magnifying glass but still could not locate it.

I did a second tie just this week. This time I went down the shaft about a quarter inch and I tied off almost 2x the amount of flesh as before. About the thickness of 2 nickels . Same method as before, more blood this time.

I think that I will have to do one more tie but will wait till this one heals. The ability to retract improved as time passed with the first tie so I will wait a few weeks in between this one and the next.

u need to upload them to imgur, the attachments doesnt work on this forum!

my tie came off yesterday, here the result!

My tie came off after exactly one week. However, I found that I probably didn't do it deep enough so went for another one in the same spot, this time deeper.

Would someone please give me access to the flickr account. I just did a tie and have some photos to share.
thanks

Hi guys. This is a great thread. I am a long time lurker, tied my frenulum three times total with varied results.

First time, the tie was not as close to the glans as it should have been and it was too loose to begin with. I cut the string after about 10 days, in fear of infection. However, the frenulum seemed very weakened and lost its original width even near the top of the glans. I think I might have gained 2 or 3 milimiters from this, somehow.

Second tie was shallow, but most successful so far. No bleeding and about 0.5 cm of freedom gained after just 3 days.

Third tie (recently) was very close to my glans but it was bleeding a bit the first day and I feared I went too deep so I just chickened out and cut the tie.

As for my frenulum now, what was once a uninterupted line, looks very erratic now. The part on my glans got much thinner and finally dissapears while going down towards the shaft. The remains of frenular chord itself cannot be seen anymore (although I can still feel string-like formation under the skin with my fingers, when pulling my foreskin down). I am so relieved to have gained some retraction milimiters - for the very first time in my life, my foreskin doesn't necessarily roll back immediately by itself, after uncovering the glans. It is also easier to uncover the glans completely whereas before, it was a small struggle, and during sexy times over the years, girls would always just end up half-retracting the whole thing.

So much for the good news. However, I do not know how to proceed from here. It seems to me that my penis is a bit atypical. Besides my frenulum string (or what's left of it), a small patch of skin around it also seems to have be fused to my glans.

I am including a few photos just in case someone can help me with an idea.

I see two options: a)redo the unsuccessful third tying near the top of the glans (that would entail tying a small blood vessel, probably) or b) tying a wider area around the frenulum to get rid of the glans/foreskin fusion (highly unlikely I will do that unless I get very clear proof that it has been already done and that it is ok to do it).

Congratulations on having the resolve to go through with a tie! And then 2 more!
It was this forum (especially the photos) that helped convince me to try it
I am still healing from my first tie and can see I was overly cautious. I look forward to
another tie in a week or so and will try to post some photos.
The photo below is my first tie and I am posting it as a test of image size

Hi guys,
I'm doing my 3rd tie in a few days, the first one i put too shallow and unfortunately didnt get me to where i wanted. 2nd one got loose somehow and had to take it out before it had a chance to cut anything :( now i will use stretch magic and will go deeper.

silversurferft I see your problem, kinda have a similar one but on a smaller scale, there is some skin attached directly to the glans. But I think that as long it's flexible like normal skin, and not so hard as frenulum, it wont hold you back. If it really bothers you then I would shallowly tie off the bits that are attached to the glans. I wouldnt tie off the wide part as that might be something you will regret once it's done ;p maybe try stretching and see what hold you back and tie that part off?

tj2 Your situation seems very straightforward, your frenulum doesn't branch out and is the only connection between glans and foreskin. You will be able to regulate retraction by just how deep you put the tie in.

Sorry guys i'm not providing pictures but my phone camera is really shitty and you cant see anything.

I tied my frenulum because I have been stretching my foreskin and could not stretch my frenulum any further without a lot of scarring and pain. Hoping that once its tied in several places I can continue to stretch. Below is a photo of my first tie almost healed.
You can see my next tie definitely needs to be deeper.

I;ve been trying to stretch my foreskin too. Got it to being quite wide, like 4cm in diameter, but still retraction isn't smooth so figured the frenulum is the culprit and am in the process of tying it off.

silversurferft -
It looks to me like you should be able to tie your "mini-frenulum". It looks like it is part of the original frenulum structure. Try a shallow tie gently, you can always cut the tie if it feels wrong. On my next tie I am going to be a little more gentle and not tie the knot super tight from the beginning. Maybe use the first part of a surgeons knot so it can be slowly tightened over a period of a few days.

Has anybody ever cut your frenulum by accident?

I have, i dont know how i did it but ive had 2 weeks off PE and it still hasnt healed

make sure you stretch it a lil bit and/or leave foreskin retracted cos otherwise it might heal very tight and be very uncomfortable

Yes, I might do just that. It was a bit of an anticlimax really, when I thoroughly examined the area and realized things are not as simple as in most cases. Truth to be told, the central frenulum thread can still be felt under the skin and had I not chickened up a few weeks ago, maybe the things would have get loose by know. Let's see.

Thank you for helping out, guys! All of your opinions are welcome.

I will post about my progress, good luck with yours!

Hey guys! I have a question regarding the knot.

Just did my first knot one hour ago... was so frickin nervous ;P but my GF was standing by my side and helped me out.
So hilarious because when I first put the needle in I noticed that the needle was waaay off, inserted much lower than I expected it to be, so I had to pull it out and once again do another try with the needle and another hole but this time higher up on the shaft and closer to the glans.

This time the position was better. I tightened the knot really hard, this was also the most uncomfortable step since it hurt a bit.
My question is, should the knot and glans be covered by the foreskin? Or should the foreskin be retracted all the time?

Cheers!

(also if someone could add me to the flickr group that'd be awesome! My Yahoo ID is mattelof )

Congratulations on your first tie!!! I use an antibiotic ointment and pull my foreskin over the glans. Keeps everything clean and soft. I just did my 2nd tie yesterday and will post some photos in the next couple days. What I learned with my first tie is be patient and gentle with your tying. I was too rough and impatient with my first tie and it left an open wound that took a while to heal. It worked out OK, but would have been better had I had more patience. Keep us posted and photos are always helpful to those about to tie.
