So after all this time, have we determined the best thread material to use for tying? I'm in the UK so keen to know where I might get the thread from.

I've waited a while to get access to the Flickr pages (still no joy as mods seem to be away). I know I should just do it but it is my manhood! I'm not worried about the needle or pain, just that it might not be happy with the end result. Getting to the point where I am just going to do it.

Hi all, i'm always waiting for invitation to flickr. so i will be able to see photos to know how to proceed myself for tying frenulum. my pseudo on flickr is benmarilo and my addresse is benmarilo@yahoo.fr thank you very much to contact me for invitation on flickr bye ;-)

edj,
I started with cotton thread but replaced that with monofilament fishing line after a week. Seems like others spoke of using a stretchy nylon used in beadwork. My tying cut through a little over a week ago and I am more and more pleased with the results. I may make 1 more tie, closer to the glans just to loosen the head just a touch more, or I may just stay with what I have. It is so much looser now and retracting my foreskin is absolutely no problem now.

Excellent Work!

I've looked everywhere for a simple answer but i can't seem to get one. The Largest vein that runs the length of the Frenulum is to be avoided or is it fine to tie of as well?. I just wanted 100% clarity before I go jabbing my junk with needles. I've probably missed the answer I was looking for at least a dozen times but hey a bit of confirmation won't hurt now will it. Thanks in advance for anyone who helps me out.

Hi Liquid, I pierced behind the main vein and tied it off. I have noticed that the area around where the tie was is a little more veiny now, I guess it just rerouted around the old vein.

So you did tie it then?. If so is there any loss of sense to the tip of the penis or anything of that nature?. What part of the penis does the vein actually drain?, I must have some significance it is a beefy vein by the looks of it.

I guess I just tied it in. I didn't pierce any veins. I have not noticed any loss of sensation anywhere except for in a good way as I have been really sensitive around the frenulum. Now, I don't just pop off when a mouth or other hole touches that frenulum.

So you 100% tied the vein also?. I'm having trouble locating my vein due to the frenulum being as tight as it is, Anyone got any tips on help me find it??

I just pierced through the skin and tied it up with a knot. I tried to pierce as close to the shaft and as close to the glans as I could. If you shine a flashlight on one side, you will see where the couple of veins are. The first page of this thread has a couple of links with photos which explain this much better.

Thank you so much for all the help, now comes the part were I have to muster up the courage to take a sharp metal object and jab my junk with it, even thinking about it gives me chills :/. But thank you so much dude it shall report back as soon as I man up and get on with it.

Hi Can I be added to the flickr account. my flickr id is gg_1973 and email is gg_1973@yahoo.com
Thank you guys for posting such useful information here. If I have the courage, I will give it a try :)

I have been wanting to get rid of my frenulum for years and only stumbled across this site. I read all the information and took the plunge and put the first stich in, I used ice to numb and sewing needle with fishing line. After a week, I got impatient and sliced the remaining piece of skin with a razor blade. I need to do at least a couple more ties when the area heals, but I seem to have a vein ( frenual artery) which runs from frenulum into my penis I have no choice but to tie this off if I want to finish the job, but I am slightly concerned. But on the other hand I seen a frenualplasty video on YouTube and the surgeon just slices frenulum off and severs this artery. So I would think that tying it off would equally kill this vein off and just let the blood re-route. Anyone got any suggestions?

Hi, could I please be added to the flickr group? My flickr account is the_seekr

Hello, everyone.

I'm Jack and new here. I've been reading all the posts. I have a case of short and tight frenulum. Also, the foreskin is tight. When flaccid, I can fully retract it. When I do a full retraction, the head is bent. While I can't seem to retract it fully when erect. It goes only halfway of the head. While reading this thread, I found I could apply a suture to overcome this issue. I need assistance on this matter, please. How should I do it?, What should I be using?, etc.

Suggestions are more than welcome.

Hi everyone, I'm Ed and new here. Was so inspired by your thread that I took some images of fren tying from picazen.com to the hospital in Thailand where I have just moved to and have had my frenulum tied today, so waiting to see the result. The first older doctor insisted on cutting it, so I asked for a younger doctor and he took a look at the photos and agreed to do it.
No pain whatsoever as they used local anaesthetic cream and no pain at all now the anaesthetic has worn off.
The doctor has not tied of the whole frenulum, as I could retract my foreskin but just had rips as it was too short, so I'll wait and see if it needs a second tying. Also I wanted just to know that it was ok first, as the pictures always look more scary than the reality.
Could someone add me on flickr my profile name is ChiangMaiEd as I would like to see other peoples fren tying and to post images of my own progress.
Thanks, Ed

Okay, about 20 minutes ago, I tied my frenulum.

No bleeding and no pain till now.

I felt a sharp twinge when piercing the frenulum. The thread and needle went in smoothly. While tying, when tightening the knot, I felt a couple of "sharp twinges".

I pierced as low as possible about 1-2 mm (away from the shaft).

The red texture is the frenulum and the yellow is the suture.

Can someone please help me with my query.

I've done a first tying and now that the frenulum has lengthened, I want to do another tying all the way at the bottom right at the glans so that it will have a more symmetrical look.

My problem is that somehow my blue vein is right under the skin only on the one side while the other has none. I have 2 blue veins that are connected together then fork off into 2 directions. Is it possible to pierce below the blue veins not through it and tie it off without causing issues? Does anyone know what will happen or what these veins do? If anyone has accidentally tied it can you please tell me what happened and if it ended good or bad?

Thank you very much :)

Hi iv done my first tying a week or so ago an have waited for it to heal as I sliced the remaining skin with a razor blades. Plus iv been away on holiday so been unable to do any tying. The results are good iv freed up a good bit but still have a large amount to remove probably several ties required. Iv done lots of online research as my next tie will have to tie off the vein which is an artery. From everthing iv read it seems that during a circumcision the surgeon routinely ties off these veins to stop bleeding. Also during a frenuloplasty the whole area is removed using an electric scalpel as shown on YouTube. The penis has duel blood supply and numerous blood vessels so tying off this vein won't be an issue. I plan to put my next tie in tomorrow when my family out and I get privacy. I will keep you all posted.
