what is that plastic piece the cork is going into? My valve on my [words=https://officialhydromaxpump.com/?uid=6&oid=2&affid=98 ]X-40[/words] just started to fail too.

Glave the mod still workin well for you? I may pick up 1 if so... Also how are you getting the pressure to increase? Pressing the valve up against you like normal or you use the wine vac pump?

Found this thread a few days ago so I figured I'd register. rofl

Bought a [words=https://officialhydromaxpump.com/?uid=6&oid=2&affid=98 ]Herc[/words] a few weeks ago but was having problems with the valve pretty early. Would lose all suction after about 3 pumps.
Then I saw this about the Vacuvin so I went out and got one. Of course with the new corks I had a miserable time trying to fit it over the valve.
During the ensuing cursing fit and yanking the valve out I noticed that the cork fit really nicely in the hole that the valve used to be in. Since it didn't work well anyway,
I ditched the valve all together.

This is what I came up with.

Just tried it today and Holy Shit it's like night and day. Not only is there no pushing the [words=https://officialhydromaxpump.com/?uid=6&oid=2&affid=98]gators[/words] against my pelvis, the release is just a flick of the rubber knob to the side.

Good mod. Have used it.now for 2 months and it makes things go much faster and don't have to work as hard

Faster is better in PE when there is so much to tackle

I cut 1/2 inch off one of those noodles you see at the pool. Put it over the valve and push the wine vac down lightly and pump to desired amount.the [words=https://officialhydromaxpump.com/?uid=6&oid=2&affid=98 ]Bathmate[/words] does a great job of holding the vacuum on its own. I had so much trouble getting the rubber stopper to stay on so I tried several other ways and this was so easy to do.

Thanks op this is the solution to everyone in doubt of pumping. I have been in a rut for months and can now feel the gains.

For the cap sticking on the easier way I found was to apply a little vase line and manually push it in. Then take a small zip tie and quickly tie it up. Works like a charm. Just be quick and also have a pliers handy to tighten the zip tie.

Glad you are finding your way to better workouts. Sometimes it just takes self experimentation. This is where this modification came from to begin with.

I bought one of these yesterday at my local wine store along with extra corks. But I cannot get it to stretch over the tip of the [words=https://officialhydromaxpump.com/?uid=6&oid=2&affid=98]bathmate[/words]. I've tried everything...lube, pushing, pulling, etc. It just won't go. Any suggestions? Thanks!

I did what a fellow member suggested. I bought a clear tubing and heated it up in a bowl of water in the microwave.
Then stretched one end larger with pliers until it fit over the [words=https://officialhydromaxpump.com/?uid=6&oid=2&affid=98]bathmate[/words].
Search this thread and you will find the size of tubing he used.

I read somewhere about using O-ring or something similar to create a seal. I've found this solution to be quite easy, not much fitting to do. All you do is have this O-ring or similar over the valve to create a seal with the Vacu-vin. A lot easier than fitting the cork over the valve.
With this solution you don't have to use the parts other than the pump that comes with the Vacu-vin kit. (Mind you, for my [words=https://officialhydromaxpump.com/?uid=6&oid=2&affid=98]Penomet[/words] I did fit the "cork" part to the valve, goes in easy, but for my [words=https://officialhydromaxpump.com/?uid=6&oid=2&affid=98]Hercules[/words], no way.)

Glad that worked for you, I was wondering if you would try.

Has anyone been able to find a pump yet that will fit the [words=https://officialhydromaxpump.com/?uid=6&oid=2&affid=98]x40[/words] valve without any modifications or extra purchases? I just recently bought an [words=https://officialhydromaxpump.com/?uid=6&oid=2&affid=98]x40[/words] and would like to get in on this

Any standard wine vac should work for you, the valve on the [words=https://officialhydromaxpump.com/?uid=6&oid=2&affid=98]X40[/words] is no different than the [words=https://officialhydromaxpump.com/?uid=6&oid=2&affid=98]X30[/words].

Ok I wasn't 100% sure because I've seen some mention of it as I was browsing the thread.

I just picked one of these up yesterday from walmart for the [words=https://officialhydromaxpump.com/?uid=6&oid=2&affid=98]x40[/words] and the suction is pretty intense! I heated it up to try and fit over the valve but, even when I do get it over the valve, it just slides up and off. It's really not an issue because all I have to do is just pump the [words=https://officialhydromaxpump.com/?uid=6&oid=2&affid=98]bathmate[/words] to get a little suction so it sits on my body and then I grab the wine saver and put it against the valve and start pumping. Thanks a lot for this idea ;)

Keeping the [words=https://officialhydromaxpump.com/?uid=6&oid=2&affid=98]BathMate[/words] clean is very important to it giving consistent results. If you use the [words=https://officialhydromaxpump.com/?uid=6&oid=2&affid=98]BathMate[/words] with a lube it becomes important to clean daily as dirt can build up quick in the valve. Also, using a little bit of vaseline at the seal will give a better suction but it is important to clean that also or it could deteriorate the base rubber.

Will using the wine pump mod help get pressure from dry pumping that's comparable to if you used water?

Not sure on that money, I don't have a dry pump. The Winevac is cheap enough to try it though.
