I assume eventually you want the information out more wide scale, so I would wonder what type of rights on demand publishing would have to your work if say you wanted it published mainstream..... make it hardcover. i agree once it goes ebook it just gets downloaded free. heck it is more user friendly to download free stuff than to actually buy them online (whats up with that)

however if i may come with a suggestion.
some books have a sort of "soft sleeve" covering the book cover.
usually with extra big graphics etc. they always get bruised and turn ugly.
however. an idea could be to make a "stealth sheet" call it: biology of a bookworm. or something like that.
and make the actual hardcover having the actual picture.
that way when people look at it standing on a shelf they wouldn't wonder about the book as it doesnt say: GET A HUGE COCK! on the side of it.
and people who want to flash their new book can simply remove the soft cover
