Not if the product is of extremely high quality and therefore seen to be worth the expense. Look at any expensive high-end product- Louis-Vuitton, Remy Martin cognac, Volcano vaporizers, Mercedes-Benz, fucking Samsung and Apple smartphones, literally any medical procedure... you get the picture. Do you think any of those companies are losing business just because they charge alot? Hell no. They're rolling in dough. Now all that being said, I think some companies get a little crazy with their prices mostly out of greed, perhaps even some of the ones I just named. i agree the more affordable you can make it the more quickly you will dominate the market. Almost all the PE devices are way overpriced imo. $300-$400 for some plastic. I'm guessing it will be priced very fairly. that way they make good money and we get a great product. i am also guessing this tool may be a lil expensive. All manufacturers product pricing is based off research and development costs, drawings, molds, prototyping, parts, assembly, packaging, warranty for replacements, overhead, marketing, projected sales, shelf-time, distribution costs, etc. Molds cost $20-$30k each to make. Not to mention medical approvals, insurances incase a customer gets injured, etc. Then there are minimum quantities required to produce that is invested money that may sit on your shelf for a long time, it is all a chance you take as a manufacturer.
So you have the choice of spending $15,000.00 for a penis enlargement surgery procedure and gain a 1/4" inch or spend a few hundred dollars on a device that does the same or better or spend $10 at a hardware store and make a solution for yourself that may or may not work. Everyone has options.
