I have been using mine for a couple of days now and will never go back . Pumping zen , went for an hour last night all in one session , no swelling or fluid retention , straight expansion. Very happy , the quality of the build is awsome to, very solid and thick ABS plastic, unobtrusive. I also bought the set of cock cushions and the stretcher to apply them . I can not comment on those because I have not recieved them yet but, when I do I will post the findings. Dr. Howard from me coach says they are awsome so I took his word. The price of the DP-4000 and the Cock Cushion set could put some gentalmen off but, it is well worth it if you can find tyhe wiggle room in your budget. I just bought it and figured that it will work itself out , that is not the method I would suggest to anyone. Good luck everyone!

I finally took the plunge and ordered one, and got two cylinders with it for an extra $80. I had been putting it off thinking I would get the VelSeal cylinders from Pumptoys with it for the ultimate experience, but finances told me spending more than double on the cylinders wasn't the best idea right now. 2 for 80 is much more reasonable $270+shipping for a discount when you buy 3 at a time. Supra said CTC's cylinders are comfortable, so for the time being that will have to be good enough. I also have a cock and balls cylinder that Chris said would work with it fine (VHSPOLY from Yinyangchi) so I'll let you guys know how that works out.

I am surprised you are having these much problems with the cylinders. They work great for me and I have all sizes.
Besides the complications with cylinders how do you like pumping experience?

If our getting his retention then your time between sets is not long enough or the time between changes in pressure is to high or your pumping to much to fast. I have no after retention and I can pump for hours if I want.
Overall I like the DP-4000. It's expensive, yes, but convenience of putting it on and never having to mess with it while doing other things means I'm going to get a lot more time in with it than I have using my Harbor Freight pump. I don't have to worry about repumping, I don't lose pressure constantly (my main cylinder is an 8 inch sphere), it's so much more convenient. I'm happy with it.
It does take a little while for it to create a seal with it, but not as bad as a hand pump.
I've been using it at low pressure for extended periods of time. This method has been favored by guys at Thunders so I decided to try it out. The default program alternates between 2 and 3 inches of mercury every 5 seconds so that's a good low pressure setting. I'm finding I can't take as much pressure as I can with a hand pump, it gets uncomfortable after a little while if I up that to 3 and 4 while I do 5-7 otherwise with total comfort. One thing I used to do which was pretty cool if you have a program which goes down to 2 or 3. During the 2-3 pressure times I would reverse kegel with a slight pull on the cylinder until the next pressure would kick in. I could get better expansion that way when it went to the higher pressures. I would usually program it for like 20 seconds of low pressure, then 60 seconds to my max in two stages, then back to low pressure where I would reverse kegel for 20 seconds and hold until the next stage kicked in.

I'm sure others have differing experiences, but regarding pumping and EQ it works like this for me.. right after a session EQ is great, a half-hour later not so good, and then it remains a bit on the puffy side for the next day or so.
