good call, no point trying to train through a potential injury.

and as for time more is not always better. some have gained very well with shorter more intense hanging sets

Yeah, same thing happened tonight. As far as switching to shorter more intense sets, I am going to stick to doing as much time as I can but continue to up the intensity. I have hung upwards of 20 lbs before for 20 minute sets, and soon I will reach that weight again, but for much longer periods.

So the same thing happened again tonight. To be honest I think I need at least 3 hours in between my sets or else I can't finish the last one. I'll try to find a way to make that happen starting tomorrow.

U know the original hangers said that u can knock off some weight after your first sets, and coast on the initial deformation.
But idk how hanging feels. Although if I was stretching pre-fatigued I kno I could use a little less intensity to finish off.
All relative to my average dik idk if you've got a monster

Exactly right, as the weight becomes too heavy for the time you are hanging this would be fatigue. Training with fatigue is the best place ypou can be in length work so dropping the weight a bit to still get in a 20 minute set is wise. With each additional set the weight should be reduced to continue to ride the fatigue. Something like this makes sense:

20 pounds for 20 minutes
15 pounds for 20 minutes
10 pounds for 20 minutes

I am not really looking to go through the process of changing the weight, it is too time consuming. Thanks for the suggestion though, maybe when I get into the higher weights I will have to do that.

Yo smerk did ya hear "too time consuming". He thinks PE is a quick process

:O

I doubt it's like that since he's been here since 2011. Not only that, but hanging @ around 2h:45m.

Yea he prolly gets dis hearted by the idea of innovating

I'm pretty sure you would benefit much more from correcting your grammar than doing PE. It's one word, and its spelled disheartened. Plus his name is Smerc, not Smerk. I hope for your sake you are a foreigner that isn't used to speaking English. As Smerc said, I've been here since 2011, and you joined what, two months ago?

I was a bit tired today and don't really feel like doing another set. If I do I will update this post and remove this comment.

I just didn't no that word cuz I dont usually hurt. Subnormal like smerk

You're supposed to write "know" not "no". What you wrote, the word no, could better be used in a sentence like, "No, tkto obviously did not know the difference between know and no, which is why he failed sixth grade."

so you hang for 1 hour straight? what are you using to hang?

Yes, I hang for an hour straight. I have also done sets where I hang for 1 and a half hours straight, but I try to avoid doing that.

I use a Bib hanger, I forget which one, but I believe it is a Bib starter.

An hour straight? Are you getting any fluid retention or discoloration from this? I usually stuck with 20 minute sets to avoid these things but have found that some busy can just go longer without issues.
