Absolutely no fluid retention, but I do get some discoloration. My penis gets darker from hanging, but this is also the case when I do any form of PE aside from basic stretching and jelqs. I am going to stick to hour long sets for now, but maybe when I get into the heavier weights I will switch to doing sets of 30 minutes.

Well in other news I have decided that I will measure monthly instead of every three months. That way I can better track how I am progressing and what, if anything, I should change.

how long have you been hanging for this long? and if you don't see gains in a months time don't think what you're doing is necessarily working. as you i'm sure you know it often takes longer then a month to see gains.

I believe it has been a month or so now that I have been hanging for this long. I did it in the past also, but for a very short time.

I definitely won't stop hanging or my plan after the first month, I just want to see how far I have come. Like I said in some earlier posts I will continue hanging for at least 3 to 6 months. If I see no results after that time then that is when I will switch to something else.

So I failed pretty hard today. I didn't wake up early enough to do my first set in the morning before work, and after work I was so hungry that I took too long and did not leave enough time to do two separate sets.

Plus Smerc scared me with the whole tissue death thing so I am afraid to hang for longer than an hour *shakes fist at smerc* (and apparently an hour is already too long).

Didn't mean to instill any fear from that. I just don't want you or anyone else here to get hurt and/or have irreversible damage. Even if I have to speculate that something may be bad, but in the end might not actually have a negative effect.
I just thought you've read over the negative effects of what it is you were doing and were still going w/ it.

I'm not an expert on anything. If you bought the bibs then I would ask him specifically or tried to find a thread that had all the information you needed in it.

No I was just kidding. I appreciate your advice, and I agree that caution is best when it comes to such a valuable part of my body.

I have spoken to Bib on his site and he said to never go over 20 minutes. Specifically, he said what I was doing was "VERY DANGEROUS".

I have decided that sometime soon I am going to switch to doing 30 minute sets instead of 1 hour. I used to do 20 minute sets in the past, but that is WAAAAAAY too time consuming for my taste. To me 30 minutes is long enough so that I only have to do at least 4 a day, but it is short enough that I won't become numb (and I am positive about that for ny weight less than 20 lbs). Your advice is the reason I am making the switch, so thank you.

Also, one other consideration I have made is that I doubt I will be able to stand a whole hour of hanging when I get up around 20 lbs, and I assume I will go way past that. So 30 minutes seems best.

20 minutes is what I have always suggested but an extra 10 minutes will not cause problems, especially since you have done much longer sets without issue. If it makes it more convent for you and you can handle it go for it!

Awesome. It is always great to hear a reassuring comment like that from you DLD. I was lazy again about getting up early today, so I kept the same routine as before, but I will switch to the 30 minute sets soon enough.

So right when I thought all was going well things got a bit fucked up. My Bib Starter, which I have had for about two years now, has gotten messed up. Basically one of the bolts that is supposed to stay in place as I tighten now spins around, meaning that I can't attach the hanger and tighten. Basically what I have to do is to tighten it first, and then put my dick in and press down really hard and then try to slide the wing nut on.

This has made it really hard to properly tighten, and I cannot tighten or loosen at all when the weight is hanging like I used to be able to. As any hanger will know, this is a huge issue because adjusting the attachment point is mega important. I feel like sometimes I am just getting skin stretch and others the hanger slides way too far down and over my glans.

I have purchased another Bib Starter and spoken to Bib about this issue. He has offered to fix it for me if I mail it to him. What I am going to do is use it for now and when the new one comes and I test it to make sure all is in order I will then send this to have it repaired. I don't mind having two of them anyways because if one breaks I don't want to lose like a week or so waiting for a new one to come in.

Anyways, I am going to go back to hanging one hour long sets again until the new one comes simply because I can't always attach properly at this point, so if I ever do I am going to take advantage and get as much time in as I can.

Damn! I see what you mean- I have a Bib Starter as well and it would really suck if mine broke ike that... Good thing Bib offered you help fixint it himself! As I read more and more on vacuum hangers around the forum I get more and more convinced that is the way to go... to bad it is SO expensive! By the way- what gains have you seen from hanging so far? :)

I will officially measure on 11/26/2014, so I will let you know then. I used to measure every day, but that just left me frustrated so I have decided to wait to measure once a month.

Thanks DLD, I am hoping to make some decent gains by that time. I have now accepted that this is a long process that I am going to stick to for years (and maybe in some form for the rest of my life), so I won't be disappointed if I see little gains. I will, however, be disappointed if I see absolutely no gains.
