I sent them an email asking this very question a few days ago. No response so far. I was actually planning on making the Bathmate my first pump, but the X-40 is too small and the X-40 is overkill. If they released something in between I would throw money their way instantly.

I know this is the case for many men. I don't understand why they don't get on it...

It's like their two models are for men with small girth, and livestock.

Hey Schlorty, what happened to the thread you and petersouth were debating on the topic women?

I guess it resolved itself. I agree with most of what he says anyways. I think I will give up the idea of one day finding someone to be with forever and start concentrating on how the hell I can even have sex with a woman now. My penis is getting larger and is starting to act hostile towards me. I haven't ejaculated in over two weeks, all I see is hot women all around me wherever I go, on TV and on the internet, my penis is erect for 6-10 hours a week when I'm awake and all night when I'm asleep, I work out all the time so I have constant testosterone pumping through me, my nuts are yelling at me to find a woman, and to top it all off, I don't get high anymore, which was a great release. Something has got to give. I really need sex with a woman before I go insane. I'm beginning to think Penis Enlargement is the easy part and trying to get a female is more impossible than I thought enlarging my penis was all those years.

Fuck yes. Smoking weed constricts your veins, slows down any type of physical recovery and kills your motivation. Smoking of any type reduces blood flow, penis is all about blood flow. Shit always made me weak when I was on it, so it makes your grip weaker for manuals.

Smoking anything is a bad idea if you're trying to do anything physical.

Cost is the main reason. creating all new molds would be very pricey. I think that they are hoping for greater success with the X40 and in the future will provide a mid-model and X-40 in the X40 format. That would greatly depend on the success of the X40. I may be wrong.

Ya it looks like a much better pump. I like how they actually listened to my suggestion to change the minimum circumference of the bottom rubber that I gave on this thread in February. It's just a shame I'm stuck with the old model. That's why they need to make another size, to satisfy the many customers like myself who own the old X-40 model, outgrew it and don't want to spend 140$ on another X-40.

It is always a bitter sweet feeling when the new model comes out but it is a class product across the line so feel good about your X-40. It is like buying a Rolex last year and the new model comes out, it does not take away from the quality, it only forges forward in advancements. I think a lot of guys are like me and are equipment junkies, it is a great pump with incredible new changes and the $40 up-charge seems justified by the design changes and new improvements. I think we may see a line that evolves into the Hydromax style. I also hope we see that mid size model and X-40 asap! Last time we waited a long time for the X-40, I don't think that will happen for at least a year, it was like almost 2 years (like 18 months) last time we waited for the X-40.

I just received my Hydromax today and was excited to try it out. However I am a little disappointed in it. When I pump it up it doesn't hold pressure and leaks out and sucks airin through the valve. I have tried to check it out with the locking lever but it doesn't work properly. I have the regular X-40 and it works well and so I thought I would step up so I would have to work with. One for work when I am in the office alone.

WHat can I do ?

Be sure the comfort pad is properly angled with the gator...they both follow a similar path. This should eliminate this issue. Another, quick fix, which I think may end up a permanent fix is a bit of vaseline in two places, around the base of the comfort pad (against the body) and where the comfort pad meets the gaiter. This ensures a perfect seal. I have also found, pumping without the comfort pad is much more powerful. I need to test out a pump sleeve and see if that makes things more comfy.

Hey Mike,

I just purchased the Hydromax and I'm having the same issue. I have two other X-40 models, and have had no issues beyond the standard comfort pad problems. When I do a side by side comparison, i notice that the Bathmate Hydromaxx40 does not continuously pump, but you have to "pump then hold and lock the latch valve", so that when you get two or three pumps in-you're done vs. continuously pumping as the displaces water leaves the top of the Bathmate. If you don't lock the latch valve, you lose a ton of pressure immediately while trying to pump. I've tried using it with/without the comfort pad and with/without Vaseline at the base and inside the comfort pad, with the same inferior results.

Is it possible that these units are defective?

It clearly states in the manual to "pump slowly and evenly until the bellows remains depressed", but with the massive loss of pressure, I can't see how that could be effective.

Any ideas?

Thanks! :)

I can tell you guys "off the record" lol that Penomet will have 4 sizes before end of year 2013 to comply with all sizes, because we, men, are all different.
Bathmate came up with Hydromax X40 that is actually smaller, same tube but shorter gaiter and when I tried it, it was too short for me and I had to switch back to X-40 to actually compare it. Penomet however is what you would call the step between, but that size scheme is really just the first of many sizes ranging from 2 smaller and 1 larger.

This will be a very big deal! MOS has been waiting for a mid-size model for a long time. Four models? Small, medium, large and Extra Large?:)

DLD, I have read your response and I have checked everything out. The problem is not the sleeve. The sleeve is quite comfortable and is a bit larger at least it feels that way I haven't put them side by side. The problem is the valve itself. It does not seal after pumping and sucks air in. I think the other valve was a better design even though this one locks. Maybe flannery and I got defective units. I would like this to work or maybe get it repaired or replaced. Is it possible to take the valve apart for repair?

Hi DLD, Phil replied and gave me another contact named Joe to follow-up.
Joe was very helpful and said will send the foam washer to me.

Hope everything will work well once I replace the foam washer.

Thanks DLD for your help.

I am looking for a direct response customer support address to handle MOS questions. I will post asap. Hopefully they will allow me access to the system to check for you guys and apply warranty and other administrative duties.

hi Agust, i ordered my new Bathmate x40 via the MoS-link about 3 weeks ago. 1 day after the order was placed i received the shipping notification and a tracking number. a few days after that i traced the package with the royal mail delivery tracking service. it told me that the package is now in germany and will be handled by the local post service. this was a little over 14 days now. it´s very unusual for a package in germany to have that much delay. i used a post box as adress, since only Deutsche Post use these i figured there could be a problem if royal mail gave the package to another post service. i tried the track and trace service of every post service i know but the package couldn´t be found anywhere. after that i tried to write a e-mail to info@Bathmate.de and support@uplsupport.zendesk.com, but the e-mails couldn´t be received for some reason. next step: i wrote an e-mail to royal mail, but they had a warning notification that said there could be trouble with their e-mail system.... so basically i have no way of tracing the damn package. i just used the Bathmate order status but it´s only telling me what i know already, the package should be somewhere in germany. at least now i´m assured that i didn´t get scammed somehow... since i can´t get in touch with the regular Bathmate customer service could you help me please? order number: 276902 tracking number: RJ797492503GB
