Valve Problems and solutions to fix them
There are basically two generations of valves out there on the market today and the V1 is more and the same as V2 to fix. Simply take of the cap and clean it well, with alcohol if needed and make sure no soap residue is present. If that does not work, try it again or slam your Bathmate gaiter facing towards a floor or a hard table to "kickstart" the valve. This happened to me once and this did solve the problem and I did not need to change my unit out for a new one.
Where is my Bathmate, I ordered long time ago???
Unfortunately we can not predict when overflow of orders come and we try to keep stock at sensible levels. Sometimes it just dosnt work and we go out of stock. Since the product is from UK it needs to travel with UPS 1 day service and clear customs before it can be delivered to Amazon for re-distribution. We apologize for all that suffer from this unfortunate delays and are working on giving everyone that suffered because we know who they are a rebate for future products or free products. Rest of the world will begin shipping again next week with various fast delivery couriers but not normal mail, even in Europe. (This was written 21. FEB 2012). This is only the second time this happens to us so we do always keep overstock but we are working on increasing the overstock percentage especially in the United States.
Normal Shipping time from Order to Delivery
As you all probably know by now we partner with Amazon to ship all goods ordered to you, our beloved customer. Each order is manually reviewed by our staff to make sure nothing strange is going on and once the review is done (normally 6-12 hours) its shipped off to Amazon.com (the data to fulfill your order) where it is processed in their huge facilities all around the United States. Shipping time and estimated delivery time is then indicated in the email that Amazon sends to you. Note that if you are not home, all Amazon parcels being from us or anyone else are left at your doorstep or at reception.
Updated: We no longer ship Bathmate with Amazon due to FDA issues and Amazon policy regarding Bathmate X-40 and X-40. All shipments now shipped from Salt Lake City using Same Day Shipping if you order before 11AM. No weekend dispatch.
No weekend shipping, so if you order on Friday, it won't ship until Monday.
Whats the Tosh.0 effect??
Since Bathmate was featured on Tosh.0 TV show on Comedy Central it literally blew our delivery capacity as we are almost limited to send in 100 units into the USA a day but we hope as of 26. FEB 2012 Amazon will have cleared the Tosh.0 queue and we will be back to normal levels of product movement. This issue has now been resolved and the Tosh.0 effect has diminished.

What Email address do shipping notifications come from?
In the United States, all emails come from fba-customer-ship-confirm@amazon.com so it is a good idea to whitelist them so you know when your order has been shipped and what the tracking number is. We are working on adding the tracking number and shipper into our Order Status lookup.
Is it safe to buy from Amazon Sellers?
Note that UPL does not sell directly on Amazon but utilizes their extremely efficient network of distribution within France and Germany. Normal shipping times are 2-3 days after you receive the email from Amazon. Previously, the manufacturer did not allow selling on Amazon but to be sure you are getting authentic goods, always order through Matters of Size for your own protection. UPL does however have a Sex Shop on Amazon.com, Amazon.de, Amazon.fr and Amazon.co.uk but does not sell Bathmates through those channels as we don't want the real thing to mix up with fakes or counterfeits.
What do you do about Counterfeiters?
The manufacturer is responsible to ensure that their Patented product is protected, lack of protecting your IP rights may cause you to loose them so we know that the manufacturer does go after counterfeiters where ever it is possible. They are not Apple and therefor do not have 70b in cash reserves so each and every counterfeit takes time to get off line. To take down a counterfeiter can cost as much as 100,000 USD and little money can normally be claimed back as these are criminals who do this, rather than large companies; thus damages are often not obtainable.
How can you patent old Art?
I have personally read the Patent and it is fairly broad and it can be argued that the Patent in question was issued on false pretenses, while other lawyers claim that this is a new invention. I won't judge on that but if you look at a pump and at a Bathmate, it really is not the same thing, is it?
I made an error in ordering but its already been shipped, what can I do?
Best thing to do in these situations is to contact us directly at support@Bathmate.eu and inform us about the mistake as soon as possible. We do press buttons to send orders for processing at MB so we can do so if we know before the order is "pushed" to shipment. If it has already been shipped, the best thing to do is to refuse delivery or accept the mistake. However, if the unit returns to us in "unsellable" condition by Customer Return, we can't refund or do exchanges because we need and are obligated to throw it away under Amazons Terms of Service. Note; Bathmate DOES NOT sell on Amazon.com in a form that we can endorse. It is an expensive commodity and I have a hard time believing personally that many of those sellers are real and selling knockoffs. Anyway, be quick and to the point or Skype me directly at Bathmateeurope.
Foam Comfort Pad comes Off
This is an unfortunate issue but an issue that does not effect many. The Comfort Pad however is not covered by Manufacturers Guarantee as it is only provided as "to aid beginners and provide comfort" as I was told. Personally I would send the unit back to the manufacturer and demand a new unit as the repair solution being imposed on some is fairly complicated and we can't expect everyone to be engineers. UPL was once provided with this as a spare part but was forced to purchase the spare part so we have discontinued this support issue and with much regret have to point to the following return address.
Please do allow 7-12 weeks for the same unit to be returned. Any unit sent in that is not sterilized will be disposed off and a replacement not given. If Quality Controle sees evidence of Comfort Pad ripping or tearing due to mishandling or damage by purpose, no replacement will be shipped and the unit will be shipped back in the same condition as it came in.
Remember the following points when Returning for Repair under Warranty:
1. Sterilize the unit
2. Pack it well so it won't break
3. Provide clear printed out or well written Return Address (Your address)
4. Do provide evidence of purchase such as a print out of a recite. If you don't have it, contact us if you bought it from us and we will re-issue the invoice. If you bought it somewhere else, well, then unfortunately I can't help you.
5. Be patient; both the Mail and the British are slow as snails.
Perhaps in the future UM products will have a US based repair service but at this moment we have not been let known of any such plans.
My Bathmate is always falling off
Either you do not generate enough differential preasure so you must pump more, or you have too much pubic hair in the pelvis area. Shaving or grooming is highly recommended. If you are hardcore, some members have suggested Laser Hair Removal.
Why does my Bathmate leak when I fill it up in the shower?
That is suppose to happen. Hold the black button and fill the Bathmate with water. While holding the black button insert your penis and tip the Bathmate up. Once it's facing upwards and it's firm enough against your body let go of the black button and begin pumping. It may be easier for you to start out using the Bathmate in the bathtub rather than the shower until you get familiar with it.
