Very excellent work, DLD.
It's almost impossible to really add anything else to such a comprehensive study, but I do want to say this:
I think that one additional reason (besides the ones you mentioned) why we are so quick to believe such fraudulent claims is because we are taken by the sheer VOLUME of such penises.
For example, an 8 x 6, in terms of cubic volume, is literally almost twice the penile mass of a 6 x 5. About 22 cubic inches versus 11.8 cubic inches.
Literally, almost twice the dick.
So when we see an 8 x 6 - assuming "we" are average - we think - "Holy shit! That thing is almost twice the size of mine!" - because, in a way, it IS.
Therefore, it becomes easier to believe claims of, say, 10" for what is really an 8 incher. Most men think in terms of length, not in terms of volume - so if it looks almost twice the size of the average (which it is, at 8 x 6) then it must be almost twice the length of the average (which it is NOT). Therefore 10", though a lie, becomes very easy to believe.
When dealing with the really big boys like Holmes, it gets even worse. Assuming Holmes was 10 x 7 - a reasonable estimate based on your studies - that works out to more than *three times* (!) the cubic volume of the average penis. Simply amazing size - when confronted with a dick that is more than three times the volume of their own, many men will feel so overwhelmed with inferiority that are ready to believe almost any ridiculous claim, such as 14".
Thanks so much for your study. There is an old interview with Holmes where he states that fully erect he is 10" (this was before his days of living on cocaine, so this was his best ever size). Therefore we can conclude that he was not, and never was, even a single millimeter over 10" - because NO ONE understates their own size. Ever.
He was still insanely huge, of course, at "only" 10".
One last thing. What were the results on __________ and Lexxington Steele? Those links were added on the thread at Thunder's. They are not here.
I wouldn't doubt that Lex is a good 10" ; his own claim of 11 x 7 looks slightly (but not very) suspect.
