These photos were taken tonight. The treatment lasted 11 days I think.
First I started with retin-a cream, used it under a theraband 10-20 hours each day. After day 2 I think, I got a major peeling. I also used DMSO (70%) some, mostly on the bruising. Some times I mixed them together. Both the retin-a cream and the DMSO worked well, before I tried the ACV. I focused on having uniform amount of cream/gel all over (under the theraband!), and also used it such many hours each day since I believe creating momentum could be important.
After 4-5 days with those I tried the Apple Cider Venegar. That also helped, both for the bruising and the general discoloration. I have only used it 3 times, each time for only 1 min or so.
As far as I can see, the bruising color is diminished. I don`t know if there is some injury left from the painful hanging, probably I will know if I try again with heavy weight.
I have totally had 3-4 peelings I think. And I think all 3 methods have given me peelings, which I see as vital for getting back normal color. The ACV also gives some lighter bleaching I think, but I assume peeling is more important.
It is about a week ago since I last treated it with anything. On the bottom photo you will still see a difference, so the old discoloration on the upperside needs one more peeling probably before this issue is completely history for me. I have had one more solid peeling on the underside than on the upperside.
I will probably try to get that, since I assume it wont fade away of itself. Who knows.
BUT, BE CAREFUL WITH THE ACV. IF YOU LOOK CAREFULLY ON THE BOTTOM PHOTO, YOU MAY SEE (it is minimal) SOME WHITER AREAS ON THE NORMAL COLORED SHAFT. BE PRECISE WITH WHAT YOU WANT TO HAVE TREATED AND NOT. IT IS VERY EASY TO SPOIL SOME. SO USE A TIGHT TAPE ON THE AREA YOU DON`T WANT TREATED, AND DON`T LET IT GET DRAINED ON UNWANTED SPOTS/AREAS.
Thank you very much to everybody who contributed with the advises and info, before and during the treatment.
