Does anybody else get the bruise look on the glans when they hang? Mine gets a little purple obviously when I hang because of the force of hanging which is to be expected but for rest of the day it stays a little bruised looking and I have one spot under the opening that stays that way most of the time. Just don't want to do anything that will F me up. I'm sure time off would allow it to go back to normal but I'm also sure it will come back when I start back up so if it's nothing to worry about I can deal with it.

Before strapping in are you squeezing the head to get out as much blood as possible? Too much blood left in the head can and will cause bruising. Always be sure to get as much blood as possible before hanging.

I thought I had but maybe not enough. I will be more diligent to make sure I do.

Today I made a tough decision. With the slight bruising I talked about in the above post I decided to give it time to heal up a little bit. I had remind myself this is a marathon and not a race and felt it would be better to let this little hic up heal and then resume and when I say it was a tough decision trust me it was .

Smart move. Use a hearing pad if you have one, this will help speed the process. And lots and lots of massage.

Well to day I'm starting back. I'm actually hanging right now as I write this. I'm starting back with 22lbs and it's feeling fine. For those who don't know I had to lay off hanging due to some slight bruising.
I went thru some things since I quit hanging last Wednesday. First I went thru some frustration because I couldn't hang. I wanted so bad to hang and not being able to was hard.
Then I had to deal with the way my dick reacted to not be worked out. It completely went into retraction mode. It turtled up and looked completely pathetic. It really messed with my mind. I kept thinking WTF! I have worked really hard and this is what I'm getting in return? It really sucked. I was mad, confused, frustrated, depressed. I was like "forget this!"
That went on for a couple days. By Friday afternoon I noticed my dick was starting to come out of it's turtling stage a little. I was starting to hang a little bit better but it was still really thin looking. I attribute that right now to not having a girth workout yet so I tried not to let that get to me too bad.
Then Sunday came around. I was hanging a lot better and it had more girth while flacid. Then came the test. I had sex. This was the first time since Wed. that I had a true erection. It looked great. It was visually longer to me. It even looked girthier than normal. It looked really healthy. I had to big veins running down each side starting at the base. It just looked good. It gave me the motivation to keep going. Honestly after the first couple days and seeing how my dick was reacting I was ready to just give this up. After Sunday I'm better.
Soooooo today,
Hung 4 sets 10 min each with 22lbs. It feels good to be back at it. Still watching the glans to make sure they don't bruise but right now everything is good.

All part of the journey man. Sometimes EQ drops from the nerves being stretched and recouping. Some bruising and skin abrasions here and there. It's all good.

Yup, it should be kept light and easy as Still states. Penis Enlargement will bring many changes and some of them are not going to be what we want but everything is part of the process. I actually love when I have poor eq or a refractory period after ejaculation because I feel there is no better time to stretch as there is no muscle reaction to the stretch.

Update.
This week has been a busy week so I didn't have much time to post but I still did my routine.

Hung 4 sets 10 min each with 22lbs. I've been making sure I'm squeezing as much extra blood out of my glans before hanging.

Still making sure keeping as much blood out of my glans as possible. I think it's helping with the bruised look.

Took the day off.

Moving up day.
Hung 4 sets 10 min each with 24.5lbs. Felt good.
It's so funny (kinda). If you look at my progress. It seems every time I get up around this weight or just a little heavier something goes wrong and I have to go back down in weight. Then back up I go and then back down I go. I'll be glad when I can get over the hump and get that 30lbs someday.

Try this when you can. Open up your bottom hanger settings a few turns each and add a couple inches to your outer wrap. This should seat your penis down a little more without sacrificing the hanger grip.

Are you hanging for a longer penis or a stronger one? I think you jumped up in weight to fast without really getting adapted to hanging or figuring out how to wrap right

You make a valid point and it is one that I have questioned different times since I started hanging but according to the veterans of hanging I moved up like I was supposed too. You got to remember I'm not new to PE. I've done PE since 2006 and pretty consistent since I came to this site in 2013. I've used manual stretching since then and was going pretty intense until I felt that my suspensory ligs were holding me back and that's why I started hanging.
I started at a weight that I felt comfortable with (10lbs) and moved up when I no longer felt any more stretch. I asked different times whether I was moving to fast and was told if I felt comfortable with it and wasn't feeling the stretch to move up.
Now the problems I've had have all been superficial issues. I've never once had any issues with my ligs or penis tissue from hanging except for the normal "good" soreness.
Hanging is not an exact science and yes it's a learning experience for each individual. What one wrap or technique might be good for one person might not work exactly the same for another. I've had to work on getting everything comfortable for me and learn the proper technique that works for me. Even finding the right hanger is different for everyone.
When I hang for 40 mins and I don't feel a good stretch I feel that it's time for me to move up. If that's not the proper time to move up in weight than when is the right time?

Are you still using the lengthmaster? I know it's easy to adjust to than the bib or hanger but even a veteran needs to take the time to start slow with a new device to get used to the ins and outs of his setup plus each device attached differently and the soft tissues need time to fully adapt.

Ideally you should've stayed with 5 lbs for at least a week or two to accomplish the above and then gone up a pound or two per week. Any problems such as faulty wrapping, not tightening enough, not having the Hanger seeing perfect for you, etc at lighter weights will be compounded at heavier weights.

You seemed to jump up there way to fast. I haven't read all through this thread but I'm sure you ran into problems perhaps even numbing or injuries. Maybe your reaching a point where your tissues are more adjusted and now you're hitting fatigue. Are you hanging 40 min sets or 40 min total?

I started with the LM but switched to the hanger last November and have been using it ever since. It is definitely more comfortable for me and contribute that to allowing me to hang higher weight sooner. I had my problems with getting the wrap right at first and like I said I had a few skin irritations but never any numbing and never had any lig injuries.
So maybe I did jump up in weight too soon like I said questioned that myself but what am I supposed to do now? Do I drop way down in weight and start over or just take it a little slower from now on?
About forgot, I hang a total of 40 mins.

....... or just take it a little slower from now on?
Sounds like what you are doing lately is the way to go if it's working better for you.

I agree with what Still said. You seem to be in a good spot now, just be more cautious next time

That's how I've been feeling, that I'm in the right spot as far as weight goes. Everything has been feeling good. I'm getting a good stretch and not having any issues right now. I've been concentrating on making sure I get as much blood out of my glans and that seems to be helping with the bruising issue. I feel as though my wrap is right cause I'm not having any irritating skin issues. It feels as though everything is in place right now. I'll be more cautious about jumping up in weight too soon as to not create any more problems.
I just never wanted to become stagnant and always wanted to push the envelope to make sure I didn't. I guess I was confused on how far to push the envelope. I thought I was supposed to increase my weight when I no longer felt fatigued with the current weight so that's when I would move up. Maybe even though I wasn't feeling fatigued my dick wasn't ready, I don't know. See I'm still a little confused.
