I am trying to stay focused on it, thats why I havent been posting about PE lately.

However today I had some monies laying around so I went ahead and bought myself a cylinder from Boston Pump. These are claimed to be top of the line, made in USA type of shit so lets see. Because I gave up troubleshooting my chinese cylinders. They get microfactures everywhere and are unable to maintain pressure after some time.

I am hopeful on this so lets see!

I just got the standard cylinder, at a size of 2” diameter and 9” length based on my current measurements. The pump itself is a standard brake bleeder you can get at harbor freight for $15.00, same one I was using before. I did buy a new fitting for the hose just to make sure it is 100% compatible with the cylinder and make a tght seal.

If the quality checks out I will probably be getting a 2.25” cylinder just so I have one to grow into.

Well my Boston Pump’s tube finally arrived, tested it out yesterday. The quality of the tube off the bat feels more solid than chinese tubes or Leluv. I ordered the male fitting for the tube to make sure the hose hooks up perfectly to the tube creating a tight seal and that worked great.

The tube is a 2” diameter tube, previously I was using a 1.75” and a 2” diameter tube in the same session. Using the 1.75” to build up to the 2” and overpack. But I dont intend to buy another tube for the moment so for now I will just have to grow into this tube.

Did a quick 20 min session last night, feels good. In time we will see if this tube trully last longer than the previous cheaper ones Ive had.
