I'm happy this topic was mentioned. Standing measurements are indeed frustrating, especially when you consider the amount of hard work that we put into this. I'm sure some would think that a quarter of an inch or less in measurement wouldn't be a big deal, when it involves someone who continues to make consecutive gains. But it's actually the opposite. It aggravates you more. Standing upright with your knees locked straight is unfortunately the most accurate way to go. Even if 1/4" or 1/8" difference gets on our nerves.
