The testicles are still a problem, and will be with any pump. It's probably less severe with this one because the base isn't so wide, but still a problem.
There is, however, a new problem. Without a nice soft rubber gaitor as cushioning, the end of the pump (hard plastic) was causing major pain. I tried a comfort sleeve that covers the base of the pump (not sure what it's called) but because I pump at high pressure the sleeve would get pulled onto the pump as my penis went farther in. Not sure if I'm explaining that in a way that makes sense, but I literally had to use waterproof construction adhesive to keep the comfort sleeve in place.
Another problem is that this thing wasn't made to get wet, so there are metal components inside the pumping mechanism that are starting to rust. This thing will give out eventually, unlike [words=https://officialhydromaxpump.com/?uid=6&oid=2&affid=98]BM[/words] which is made for water.
It's funny you mention that, because I've just recently (last 6 months?) started having the same problem.
I started moisturizing a lot, and experimenting with different grips and stretches. For instance, the "mandingo stretch" doesn't seem to put as much pressure on that particular spot. I also do V stretches in a way so that I'm only gripping the head, not the part where it meets the shaft. Maybe I'll post pictures at some point.
If it gets too bad, and you've been at it for a while, there's probably no harm in just taking a deconditioning break for a while. You shouldn't lose any size, and if you do you'd gain it back immediately once you started again.
