Well, i experienced premature ejaculation after i got a herniated disc in my back that caused my pelvic floor muscles to become overactive.

kis_,

I hurt my back about 10 years ago with a slight herniation causing sciatic nerve issues at first and now a constant lower back pain.(repetitive stress injury) I now notice that I can be sitting comfortably watching tv or at work and my pelvic floor muscles are always tense. I can relax them but it takes conscious thought to keep the muscles relaxed and once I stop thinking about it they contract again.

Does this sound like something you are experincing?

With any sexual stimulation, besides manual dry masturbation, I have to fight to keep control result of which is an extremely slow pace which often time is not stimulating for my gf and I can still hit repeated PONR in the first few minutes.

I am glad I read your post!

Have you had any luck in this front?

Hi gumby.

Yes, this is something i am experiencing. And this condition the pelvic floor muscles are in is a state of hypertonicity, wich means your muscles are unable to relax. In my case the hypertonicity is caused by a nerve compression, and worsened by the mental part this brought with it. I experienced amongst other symptoms, nerve pain and extreme penile shrinkage too at times. So, hypertonicity in your case can be caused by tension in your pelvic floor over time because of backpain/sciatic nerve pain. This i am writing her is just my opinion on the matter, from my point of view and experience.

You should take a look at this:

In addition to this you likely will benefit from stretching the piriformis muscle and glutes. It would be wise too take care of any triggerpoints before you stretch.

Have you had magnetic resonance pictures of your back taken?

Well, i'm going to have surgery in 2 weeks so i guess i will see when i've had the surgery.. but for now my condition have improved the last month or so because of medications i'm taking and because i have spent almost every day lying in a chair, but this doesn't solve my problem ofcourse.

Thank you for the information and I hope your surgery goes well!

I had an MRI when the injury occured, but that was 8-10 years ago. My experience with this was a bit odd. I am 6'4" so I had to go in the MRI backwards and my feet hung off end of the table right below my knee. This caused me to be stuck in an arched position for 30-45 min. When I got up to leave my pain was all but gone! So I think being in that position popped something back into place. According to the notes read by the radiologist I had/have a slight herniation but when the back specialist looked at my pictures he said he did not see anything that was too bad and treated me for muscle spasms. I did not find out about the herniation until 2 years ago from a chiropractor who asked for the pictures and notes from the radiologist.

I will give your recommendations a try.

Thank you again!

gumby.

Thank you:)

As i can see you'd had/has got different opinions from various medical personel.
I think it depends on what kind of perspectiv you have on the matter that will result in different opinions, for instance that when you're lying flat on your back the compression on the spine isn't very much compared to standing up or sitting and so on. And the pictures as far as i now, is often taken in a lying position wich may display a different view of the situation than it may be. This was at least a opinion the various therapists i've been at had on the matter.

The many various doctors i have been at, included radiologists ment that my pictures din't show any significant affection of the nerves in my back. And three manual therapists(chiropractor, naprapathy and orthopedist) and two doctors said it was quite possible that my problems came from the herniations, while a physiotherapist din't think so. Actually many of the medical persons i've met after my injury thought it was psychological.

This just shows that everything isn't always as it seems, and i think it's wise to be open minded and take every probability in considuration when evaluating a person. Arrogance is a very common thing in the national health service in my country at least, wich can be a big problem.

It may be that your problems have nothing to do with your herniation, whether direct or indirect. But i think it's worth giving the possibilities a try. Just my opinion:) Good luck with your problems:)

Guys, if you have any Premature Ejaculation problems, or have had and fixed them- please join/read the discussion on "Kiss the Premature Ejaculation GOODBYE!!!!" located in my signature. I just updated the info and I think that it's a really good read and it's worth the read. :)

Had same problem. After using Bathmate for couple of months i developed a constantly "tight" pc muscle feeling resulting in fast orgasm with sex. Problem resolved once i started using extender. My thinking is that the stretch is helping the ligaments and pc muscle to relax. Anyway thank goodness it resolved as there is nothing worse than blowing long before you have had ample time to enjoy your girls body :p

It's good to see that you have overcome this issue. Having your PC muscle flexed and out of your control is one of the things that leads to your downfall in the worst way. I will keep that in mind, thanks for sharing your solution. I will post it in my thread as a possible solution :)

Im glad if it helped. It was really worrying for awhile there but the extender really helped. Not sure if its a universal fix but it did the trick with me. :)

Hi Kis, sorry for my english... I have sent a private message. I have a doubt. I'm thinking about surgery, is a good option? Do you have good results? I have a herniated disc in L5-S1, and I belive that maybe, is the cause of all my problems. I do gym, strecthes, but without results, or very little. I have hard-flaccid, PE, etc... Can you say me something about surgery? Thanks.

I'll bump this thread for you also in hopes he comes back :)

I agree bathmate CAN cause premature ejaculation.

In what respect? The BathMate should condition you to last longer. I have never heard of the BathMate causing pre-mature ejac.

Sorry you feel this way, God Bless You and Goodbye
