I have had decreased EQ since entering my thirties. There are many reasons for this, and while my EQ isn't pitiful (it's sufficient to have sex) I'd certainly say it never gets to 100% anymore.

My EQ is poorer because:

1) I lack confidence due to my size issues

2) I smoke

3) I was on antidepressants for 10 years (have been off them for 8 years, but erection quality went south in my mid-twenties. Was bona fide impotent on a few occasions, although never for any more than a couple of weeks).

4) I work shift patterns. These have f*cked my body clock and messed with general body functionality (metabolism, sleeping patterns) and creativity to a degree

5) I watch ���� and pound the muppet most days - and have done so for years.

All of these choices have ruined my EQ. Like I said, I can get it up but not 100%.

Since starting PE a week ago, my EQ has improved. Still not 100%, but I still smoke and I still work nightshift/dayshift rotational patterns. The ���� is gone, because I have learned on this very forum how it can be detrimental to EQ, and thinking about it, I agree. When I whack it, I'm probably only about 70% erect a lot of the time. The smoking, I am working on. Not much I can do about the shifts at the minute, but the PE will hopefully deal with the confidence issues once I start seeing gains.

I have looked at diet as a big deal. I do cardio and lift weights so I'm not unfit, but my diet could be cleaner. I've read a lot - licorice, chocolate, blackcurrants, watermelon, pistachios - these and many other foods are supposedly good for supercharging your purple-headed rug-munching womb-ferret. None of these have helped my boner but I'm surely a little healthier for incorporating them into my diet (except licorice - licorice is evil).

If anyone has any other dietary tips for good wood, please share them here :)

The first step to any change is being honest with yourself about the problem. You have nailed it on the head with what you posted and you know just what you have to do now, I hope you follow your own advice.
 
I am going to follow this for a few weeks . lets see what happens. I used to get instant boner when i was in school listening to lectures now i never get these random boners .

I'M 53 now and starting to have EQ issues. Morning EQ is bad and when having sex the next 2 time i didn't got an erection. The thing is I started a new training routine for girth since than time I noticed poor EQ.
The routine is as follows:
Light basic stretching 3 min
3x air pump 5 minutes followed by 30 seconds squash Jelk
3x 30 seconds compression squeezes
After 7 weeks i noticed the flaccid penis is heavier than before en looks visually bigger. I do this routine about 5 to 7 days a week. When i started PE in 2015 i had the same issues but after a few weeks it went away. King and knights, could the bad EQ be caused by over training? I'm afraid to take rest for a few days i could loose the gains I made.

I started PE in the first instance to give my GF the sexual satisfaction. In the beginning of our relationship she mentioned she had a one night stand with a guy who had a monster cock. She was impressed by his penis. I can't imagine how big the guys penis must have been, as she has difficulty to handle my 7 inch penis (I went from 6 to 7 inch non bone pressed, i am hitting her cervix) she could manage his. The only way to know if you are overtraining is by stopping training for 2 days and see where you are with erection quality. 2-3 days off you will lose nothing, have no worries. Gaining an inch is a big gain and I am sure it put he monster cock thing to bed! Whatever size they experienced in the past we will get there and beyond with solid training. Are you doing PC Exercises? These are vital to having the best EQ. If you are not doing them you will find them here under KEGELS: New Routine. After a month of Kegels you will find much harder erections. And if you gain good eq after a day off then create an every other day routine.
 
EQ has much to do with your mental state as well, (don't underestimate how much her mentioning that 'monster cock' has impacted your psyche). Use this as motivation

You are correct and this is why 95% of impotence cases are not physical.

It is very good psyche to have in place. I remember when I would have eq problems I would immediately go to the stinking thinking of 'I must be impotent' but as I studied this and did some of my own work I found that practically all cases of impotence are mental. The physical cases are extremely rare and usually happen in two ways, Sickle Cell or Old Age. There are other cases but these two groups are prominent. And even in these cases there are solutions. I just like to take advantage of every change to reiterate this so all see.

i have abstained from ejaculation for over a few years now. occasionally i have nocturnal emissions like once every 2 months which is uncontrollable but that's it

i would say i have extra energy partly due to this, considering i work out and do PE usually 7 days per week.

I am a strictly Bible believing Christian, I do not belong to any denomination, I rely on the Bible. Masturbation is not wrong, even in the word of God. So Masturbation is fine but the issue with me is I can't masturbate without ����. And ����, for me, is a bad thing as I can become obsessed with its and really waste a lot of time. So I abstain from both but every 30 days our so I mess up. I don't get those nightly emissions, I never have. So after about a month I start to get mad, frustrated, I get in arguments and all sort of strange behavior. But as soon as I let one off I am good for another month. Not having a good libido. This is when you are not mentally stimulated enough.
This happens for a few reasons:
-You need more variety.
Variety is something very important. Once you have gotten used to something- it just loses its glamorousness. It becomes less special- your brain starts to accept it as something normal from the everyday life. Usually people who experience lack of libido due to lacking variety need to change something they used to do. Be it:
1- Self stimulation -���� (if one watches)-just change the type (teen, ebony etc.), actress or fantasy.
2- Woman stimulation (girlfriend) (if you have one and if not- get one)-you might not have the passion you used to have before. If the problem is not in your girlfriend (which you might find no longer sexy and stimulating enough), then it is most likely you- pretty much doing the same every time. If you find yourself guilty- simply change the sex positions, play some fantasy with her (act to be a naughty student etc.).

-You have psychological problems.
This comes from:
1-Work- Most of us have problems with our work. It is something really normal.
If you hate your job- just leave it. It might sound a little drastic, but life is meant to be lived happily. We all have different interests and different hobbies. Try to make your favorite thing to do your job. That way you will drastically reduce the stress you have. If changing your workplace is a no-no- consider doing this as soon as you get an opportunity.
2-Life – Yes, life can be hard sometimes. Its punches are the most painful ones. Problems are just a test for you. Do your best to solve your problems- and get the happy life you want.

If you find yourself to be under physical tension, you should relieve the stress- whether it be fighting something (some people prefer objects- pillows, punching bags etc.) or relaxation exercises such as meditation combined with breathing exercises. Sharing your worries with someone you know always takes a stone off of your ankles. Be it a professional or just a friend- this is something that will be good for you.

And never forget- Erectile Dysfunction is 99% mental!!!




Lifestyle


Try living healthier.
1-Stop (or reduce) doing every unhealthy habit you have.
-Smoking- damages overall health.
-Drinking- damages overall health, naturally decreases libido (you think less about sex and this is why it is also known as a technique to improve longevity in bed).
-Taking drugs- damages your body in multiple ways. And as we know- health and EQ always go together.
-Watching ����- it really damages your EQ. I would strongly advise you to stop it and never look at it again, bit if this is too extreme for you- at least try to reduce it. I am a 20 year old male and had EQ problems on this age just because of this. After abstaining myself for 3 months (I watched, but very little. I used to watch every single day before) I found that my erections were harder and stayed for longer periods of time. It might be hard, but it is not impossible.
2-Make better food choices.
In order for the human body to function at its best- proper nutrition is required. A good (healthy) diet combining a good fat-carbohydrate-protein ratio and vitamin and mineral dense foods will fuel your body and keep it healthy. Do not consume a lot of food in one sitting (consume small meals, but frequently throughout the day), since your body can digest the nutrients optimally. There are some foods that help increase EQ naturally by themselves. Such foods are:
-Garlic.
-Horny goat weed.

3-Sport
Sport (aerobic and anaerobic) will not only take you into a much better shape and overall health, but will improve blood flow to the whole body- penis included. And blood flow to the penis is vital important due to its post- workout recovery- taking all nutrients and helping the penis to acquire them.

4-Jerking off
Some people have no problems regarding their libido a few to several hours after ejaculation. If you are not one of them- reduce/stop jerking off will work really well in your path to improving your EQ.


Medicine


Taking supplements .
1-Taking certain supplemental pills , while helpful, can be damaging your EQ significantly. Once your body gets used to being supplemented- you can gain immunity (adaptation) and it might stop working for you. If you choose to consume supplements - know when to stop.



Exercise

Kegels- Kegels are the most effective things to do .They strengthen the pelvic floor muscles allowing for greater strength and endurance in the erection capability department. The growth that occurs because of Kegels is great as it allows the penis to become hard to it's full potential allowing for the largest hardens.

Pumping - You can use air/water pumps to improve EQ. It is most effective when pumping with a full erection and using a kegel in conjunction with the pumping . It is recommended to use water pumps because air-pumping can cause serious blisters and water retention . Water pumping is much more comfortable and safe creating less fluid retention with all the same benefits of air pumping .

Clamping- Some men find it helpful, although I don’t recommend it. If your goal is EQ- there are much better methods. If your goal is girth- this can be a quite good and dangerous exercise. Do not do it if you are not well informed.

Jelqs - Next to kegels, jelqing and the like, will always increase EQ and bring better erections and vascularity. Consistency is what is important.
Hand stretching - It will not help you unless you do kegels during the stretching .
Edging- While it can be a helpful exercise by itself- it may further strengthen your Pelvic Floor muscles (if you practice kegels once you reach the PONR to avoid ejaculation).



Break


You can have two choices when it comes to take a break:
1-You completely stop.
You completely stop doing any kind of routine for a week or so and allow your body to heal 100% (it is advised you do this every 2 months or so). Masturbation and sec must also be cut down during the break period.

2-You are on a routine and you have no intentions on stopping.
You are following a routine you would not like to stop (especially for a prolonged period of time- such as a week). Then take a few days break during this week. Increase your rest days (or add some) by 1,2,3 or as much as you feel like stopping.




If none of the above said works for you, then it might be best for you to visit your doctor/urologist and discuss your problem with him/her. And as DLD said- “ Erectile dysfunction is 99% mental”.
