I know what it is but I don't see the benefit of getting hard or getting power from flexing the PC muscle. Like what can you apply that power to?

Well if you Kegel during hanging you are strengthening the Pelvic Floor Muscles so that is the main purpose. The Reverse Kegel should be used in all stretching as it foregoes all muscle hold back and allows for pure stretch.
