Hi,
New to the forum.
My first post was with regard to ED and sexual dysfunction lasting 10 years (on and off) - in the appropriate forum. This has to do with me masturbating dry for so long so the minute lube or a condom was applied i went limp. Additionally, i had some low T issues which have now been addressed and I'm horny as ever!

The reason for my post is that due to the dry masturbation I've been desencitizing myself with lube and a very gentle touch to replicate real intercourse.

Because of this, I'm afraid that doing jelqs will exacerbate the need for more friction during sex which therefore will bring back my problem.

I.e. if my problem is having expecting too much friction because I've been using a dry hand for so long wouldn't jelqing exacerbate this problem because although it uses lube you must apply a lot of pressure to the penis.

I have a Bathmate and a jes extender (knockoff pro extender, works just the same). I barely use it due to the discomfort and time needed but i feel the Bathmate is good for overall penile health and I've heard from many that Permanent gains in girth can be seen with long term use. Unfortunately I'm in somewhat of a transition with housing so have been unable to use it for months.

What do you guys think about jelqing? The last thing i want to do is go back to my penis expecting friction to the point where i can't function at all, and i know there is some risk associated with sensation.

I've been considering hanging, kegels, and the Bathmate....as despite the risks of hanging i actually prefer the idea and ideology behind it.

But jelqing seems to be the major exercise for enlargement. I just don't want my penis desensitized. I need it extremely sensitive.

What do you guys think?

I'm 5.5 max BPEL and that's not good enough. Not sure if there's a forum on here for exploring chemical PE options but if i could afford to I'd try anything at this point.

I understand being consistent (as with any exercise regimen) is key but want to pick a regimen that doesn't exacerbate anything and just run with it. D's beginners routine sticky sounded great. That's what i need, a plan, program, guide to follow. But again the jelqs worry me.

Feedback appreciated!

Hi you don't have to jelq it's good for penis health but the newbie stretching minus the jelqs is just as good you could do 10-20 a day after your workout which will help with circulation and get your erect for this good exercise to replace the jelqing "slow squash jelqs"since your getting erect all the time but go slow at first.

Do this minus the jelqs or about 10-20 for penis health......http://www.mattersofsize.com/forum/...ned-2-inches-with-this-routine)-Full-Tutorial

Slow squash jelqs.......http://www.mattersofsize.com/forum/...Jelq-Official-Thread-(End-all-Girth-Exercise)

You can also use your extender for SRT which is healing in a extended state to prevent retraction and gain faster, when you are conditioned enough or have stopped gaining you can incorporate Bathmate hardcore stretches.
But I wouldn't touch chem PE for now

Your technique and approach needs adjustment. Use the lube on the glans and the area right below the glans, which are the two most sensitive areas, you shouldn't need THAT much force, just enough to get erected again and then proceed with for example a set or an entire routine of kegels or reverse kegels or jelq or slow squash jelq. If erection quality subsides, return to stroking glans, area below glans, or BOTH to return erection quickly, then continue with exercises, and repeat, but WORK at it. I find jelqing to be more stimulating than desensitizing. Start with jelq and kegels, and increase the rep amount and duration of reps every day or week depending on your endurance, and start with moderate intensity, stay at that level or move up comfortably every week or month. The BM should be great because it traps blood, I've never used a pump, but if it's that uncomfortable maybe reduce the pressure, or get a cock ring or a SizeExtender or an Ace Bandage Wrap(for Uncle Jim's Wrap method in DLD's SRT thread) and apply it after a quick BM or clamping session, but it's not necessary at first, maybe ease that stuff in after you learn and practice the exercises. And go through all the stickied and other threads as much as you can, and research so you can experiment and see which exercises suit you.

Thanks for your responses.
My problem with incorporating Jelq's isn't that it affects my erections....
My problem with ED and being able to climax is associated with too much friction.

So for example, when and if i have intercourse - Its very very hard for me to maintain an erection and climax because (not just of the lubrication involved with sex) but because I"m used to a DRY HAND.

This is something I (unfortunately) conditioned myself too.

So now, I'm incorporating lube, masturbating in different positions, etc.

So the bottom line is - I've "desensitized" my penis so to speak - to the point at which - I can't climax or perform if there isn't really really rough (dry) masturbation going on.

So I"m now "sensitizing" it....by using a SOFTER, slower, approach. Trying to climax and keep myself erect whilst using the LEAST amount of pressure possible.

So with Jelqing, I'm squeezing/pushing the blood upwards towards the head of my penis, because of the pressing involved - I'm not sure how that would affect the sexual issue
(I'm trying to make this as easy as possible to understand).

So for example, would jelqing (because of the pressure involved) make my penis more desensitized than it already is (which would nullify all of my work into trying to get it sensitive again so that i can climax and keep myself erect).

It may not, because of the lubrication involved in jelqing it may prove to not affect me at all - especially since your not building to a climax. So my body/mind may not associate it with sex. I also see "D" highly recommends vaseline for jelqing and i can see why.

BTW - I have NO problem using the Bathmate. I think its great and as I said above have read many threads where people claim to have gained girth (permanent) after using it long term.

I really really like D's beginners routine, as it tells you straight up - do x for x on x amount of days...lol

That's what I need.

What do you guys think about hanging though?

I'm considering giving his routine a go and seeing if and how it affects the sensitivity in my penis. I will follow your advice, my jelq's are likely not going to be nearly as forceful as they should be so i don't risk any damage or desensitization.

Any other suggestions on hanging?

As for the extender I really can't stand using it. I work from home and could use it for hours on end but its just so frustrating. I'd rather hang and just walk around with it...lol

I think jelqing would give you more sensation and better circulation as for hanging it takes up,a lot of time but works just like manual stretches if you like DLD's newbie routine do that until you no longer see gains then switch t hanging or Bathmate stretches.
You could always give dry jelqs a go?

I answered this somewhere else today but I will answer here too. If jelqing is causing desensitization it would be from the drag against the skin in the milking motion. The best way to jelq without this happening is through compression, the Slow Squash Jelq is the best of all the compression exercises in bringing expansion. Since it is a dual compression exercise there is no sliding against the skin, it is simply isolation of the tissue and then a compression of the tissue together...no sliding means no issues with desensitization. I might add also that I have never had desensitization issues with jelqing but if you are then I put forth the Slow Squash Jelq.

I'm not a jelq fan myself, though I do them every so often because they are a good, classic exercise. You can definitely get all the girth you want without ever jelqing though.

I like the idea of the Slow Squash Jelq over other jelq styles as it uses dual com, press ion to cause the gains and no blood will be lost on the clamping position if tight enough. It brings much more temporary expansion than jelqing or other girth exercises. The only thing that makes it better is using the BathMate as a superset tool in conjunction with the Slow Squash Jelqs.

If only I could afford a bathmate to test that haha. I think I might attempt a variation of SSJs while clamped once I start doing girth work again.
