I got a "beta" model from Bib recently and have been using it with great success. I have a regular Bib and like this "starter" model of the new beta much better. For those of you that have seen Stillwantmore's video's on hanging, you remember that he used a starter model without the padding/gel. The new bib hanger does not have any padding at all. Wrapping is all important. I find that if I wrap wrong,I need to rewrap and start over. I am able to hang longer periods of time with the new hanger. I do find that the starter model is much easier to use than the regular that I have been using. The reason I think is it gives you a chance to hang with the skin pulled back better. Problems? I don't know of any yet. I scrapped the idea of using the Max Vac, I just could not get it to work without blisters and excessive fluid. There are some who are able to use the Max Vac and I am glad for you. Those that have problems with fluid buildup might seriously consider the new Bib Hanger. But, wrapping is the key. If you wrap too tight, pain, if you wrap too loose, pain too. So, you work on it and soon catch the idea. GS

Thats to bad GS , I have never had a blister from the max vac , and im a rookie at hanging , im up to 8 pounds on my MV and i love it cause it takes 10 seconds to put on . and 1 hour just flys by

But the bib SHIT man i can pick that hanger apart

1. I hate wrapping every god danm time
2. have to play with it to get a good grip on my penis
3. yea i cant hang for an hour straight, to painfull
4. effects my erections after a set , and i love to clamp for 10 minutes after a set
5. im not out to put bib down, after all he took hanging to the next level, but i would not go back to the bib after my experiance with my max vac , its that good to me

I'm betting as more time goes by and more men start using the MV, more men will post about blisters as they try to exceed 10lbs of weight....and MORE THAN ONE HOUR of hang time. Have you tried multiple sets yet JK??? I was also having zero problems with blistering....as long as I only did ONE SET. If I tried to hang again right after the first set, or even a couple hours later...I got BIG nasty blisters on my glans. When you put the weight on...even with the 'no hand pump' method, the vacuum in the tube goes up in relation to the amount of weight/resistance applied to the MV. The more vac in the tube, the more likely a blister will occur. It's just a fact with any kind of vacuum and the penis.

Hey Still. I have a feeling that using water instead of air inside the cylinder might help with this. I have also not had one single blister and I have done multiple sets with 10 lbs and over. The trick is to use as many sheaths as to keep a certain amount of blood in the glans but not too many to give you circulation issues. This way you do not need to use as much pressure.

I still hang two 1 hour sets with 5 lbs right after each other with no problems and I still gain from doing this as long long as I stick to it for a month or so.

I hear ya. I own a max-vac and all was going well until I got a blood blister on my glans. Took some 10 days to heal and I couldn't pe at all. I wasn't too woried about the fluid build-up. Are the new Bib Beta's out for distribution yet?

I don't think water per say in the cure all, but it may be an excellent addition and needs experimentation. In reference to Stillwantmore, the answer isn't in numbers of users. There are HUNDREDS of MV users. Blistering is most always a result of mis-use, improper conditioning and technique. Anyone that shoots for 5 hours a day of hang time in the first couple of days will be glutten for punisHydromaxent. It's a small commitment in the first month to become conditioned. Once this is surpassed, 1 hour straight hangs are easily achieved. This is impossible with the constrictive hangers. With constriction and pain it is your bodies duty to protect the penis. This is evident with retraction and carries the theory that destructive hanging is a step backward for gains. How can one gain in the shriveled state?

The limits were pushed and I took hanging to unheard of sessions. I could log in 1 day what most would take an entire week. Unfortunately those that did not ease into this will never benefit fom the capability of passive, expansive hanging. One of these hangers left my penis red, and hot. The other would have produced necrosis of dead freezing black blood with a nice shriveled after effect.

Everyone conditions at different levels. Find what your limits are and stay below them. In time, add to it.

Here's when I started pushing limits, and thinking outside of the "20" minute tissue death box.

BTC,

What have been your length gains since beginning vacuum hanging? Also, how long have you been vacuum hanging?

1"+ from Vac hanging; been Vacuum hanging for 2 years, and vice hanging 2 years previous to vac, and stretching 1 year previous to vice. I did not think I could gain after I plateaued for almost an entire year of 1 hour daily (20min x 3 sessions x 15-20 pounds Miami Vice style).

That's truly great news, seeing a veteran break through a plateau by gaining an inch inside of a year!

With that, what were your gains from the year of stretching? What were your gains from two years of vice hanging?

Not to speak for the man, but I've heard that if you contact bib he may sell you one. He's not ready to go to full production yet because he's too busy to make a bunch of them right now.
Won't hurt to ask. At worst, he could say no.

Oh, can't help you there. I do think I've seen a thread or two about guys who aren't circumsized-may have been on other forum though.

I really like my Beta Model. The thumb screws at the front are not as easy as the regular model, but I put a washer in there and that took care of the "problem". Stillwantmore had taken all the gel out of his starter and did wonderful with it. Since this is the theory with the new one, it seems to work great. Wrapping in hanging is the key. I used to wrap too tight. Have to wrap loose to be able to hang very long. GS

I posted this in another thread-but it may be more suitable here:

I have a question about the hardcore (Beta model hanger), even if I'm not able to get it (from the guy offering it on the other thread). I see on the site (bib's order page) that it is only recommended for experienced hangers, and that mirrors what Bigger replied when I asked him about it awhile back. What is your assessment of it? Is it strictly for guys who are seriously experienced hangers? Bib sometimes seems overly cautious to me, but I also don't want to damage myself!

I would said the reason that he say's this is because it does not have any gel so when first starting out i would get the padded starter first then i would move on to the hardcore hanger after a couple of months.

When first starting out everything will be very delicate so the padded hanger would really help.

Thanks. I've been using the padded starter for a couple of months now, so I think I'll try this new one also when I get a couple of extra dollars together.
I like that it costs less!

Wannabe...I don't know if I am qualified as an experienced hanger, but guess I am. I think I could have done well with this when I first started if I knew what I know now. The key to hanging is the wrapping. Not to wrap too loose or too tight. You can find the balance easy and then you will have good hanging experiences. I don't like the gel in the regular (old type) hanger. I saw that stillwantmore used his original Bib starter with no Gel and the new BETA has no gel, just a cavity for the penis. Thus wrapping is very critical. I think that you can use the Beta okay. I reccommend it highly, and no, I don't work for BIB and I don't get a commission. ;) GS
