Here are a few pics of the "Beta" Starter model. In other words, it's a new design.
One of the main improvements I love is the new, longer teeth on both the top and bottom. The teeth are also wider. The pro of these new teeth is that the penis cannot be pushed into them like before, and therefor you will not get pinching. There is also no need to push the penis out of the way of the teeth while tightening the hanger.

Here, you can see the new, extra big bottom well. This allows the bottom of the penis to 'flow' into these areas when the hanger is closed, and during tightening. Also gives you room for your wrap without giving up space in the hanger. Blood flow is better with this hanger! My bottom settings on the hanger are half of what they were on 'old' Starter.

Here you can see the bigger 'blood' channels. Also visible is some 'dimples'. I'm not sure of the purpose of these. Check out the bottom teeth on this model! This hanger has been designed without the gel cushion. As many guys including myself never liked the gel cushion.

Here you can see clearly the new front 'thumbs'. The part that used to be more prominent in the 'old' Starter. These are of a much lower profile, and actually round in an outward angle. They are MUCH more comfortable, and allow for longer sets...for me anyway. There's much less pressure on the glans as well now.

Overall, this is in fact the best version of the Starter that BIB has come up with so far. The Starter continues to be my favorite hanger. It's the perfect size, and will allow weights as heavy as any man could ever imagine using. There is no longer concern for any 'breaking' to happen. This thing is built like a small tank now. One other small improvement over earlier models is the addition of locknuts for the nuts that hold the blue strap onto the hanger.

How does the new (BETA) design seem to be working? I LOVE my original BIB Hanger, and I'm interested in anything new that BIB comes up with. He really puts a lot of time and thought into the stuff he does.

I wouldn't want to put anything that is in beta status on my dick.

I don't think this device can be considered a complete beta test.

It is based on the Bib, it's just received some new design elements that seem to all be improvements.

1) The pinch-factor is gone
2) The gel is gone
3) The bolt holes are better supported
4) The well fits better
5) The thumbs perform better
6) I found it easier to get adjusted
7) I find heavy hanging with it to be more comfortable

Mostly SO, some SD.

Settings are pretty much evenly spaced top to bottom, perhaps little more open at the top.

For wrap, it's sweatshirt material and theraband.

At this stage, I'm hanging 20 lbs to reach fatigue, then backing off to 15 or 17.5 to ride it out. I have hung 25 lbs comfortably, and I'll probably move to that weight soon (as my new fatigue-weight).

Toe in or Out you not tried the rice sock technique yet:)

I forget which is which, but the top is slightly more open than the bottom.

I haven't tried the fulcrum rice sock technique -- if that's what you're refering to.

I've been gaining, so I thought I'd wait until that slowed/stopped before moving on to something else.

That's sounds like toe out.

are you cut or uncut well done on the gains:D

I wasn't very impressed with the beta starter model. Seemed to do a better job of grasping the internal structures than the previous starter model, but with that came more pain. I have found the Max-Vac to be superior.

I can't wait to get the Max-Vac and try it out

That's funny you should say that because I didn't care for the Max-Vac. For me, vacuum hanging causes extreme fluid build-up.

I think the trick with the Bib is to find a wrapping technique (material type and position on penis).
