im in a fairly similar situation to you atm (minus the girlfriend). my current program doesnt look much like yours, so it will be interesting to see how they compare a few weeks/ months down the line in terms of gains

There was a thread on here... I'll try to find it. This guy hung for 18 to 24 sets a day for like 2 weeks. I think he gained something like half an inch - no joke. Talk about having time to hang lol.

You know it's not hard to find a good hanging program. Hanging "whateverthefuckweight" you want is a sure road to injury. I'm sure you're just being silly though and not serious. Google Malehanger. What ima do is continue hanging upper angle but Ima tone it down and increase weight. Ima start back up sometime this week, keeping sets to 12-13 per day or so. Ima let yall know what the deal is.....

i guess i should have said it barely gave him anything as it was only .1'' - .2'' total. of course any gains are good gains but it seemed as though he expected much better gains putting in 20+ sets a day for that long a period of time.
 
What you need is a office job were you sit on your bum behind a computer for 8 hrs a day then you could hang but don't get caught or it would be in the news:cool:

What's most important about that thread is the empirical confirmation that hanging more weight in less time leads to better gains. It makes sense because that is well true cellular tears take place.

I do hang smart. In my previous threads I've detailed my day to day routine and all the trail and error I went through. I hang with three principles: 1) Treat hanging like progressive overload training -- constantly increase volume/intensity of training while keeping in mind fatigue; always, always provide low intensity/volume rest periods regularly 2)Hang frequently -- daily if possible 3)Jelq and Kegel to maintain tissue health while creating growth.
