I've tried using a credit card and a debit card...
I don't really need to go buy a prepaid debit card to make this transaction do I?

okay I figured out the problem-- if you are getting a 'do not honour' its your credit/debit security settings. gotta call your cc card provider to get it lifted for an international (science laboratory) purchase.. just fyi
