I learned about this exercise 5 years ago and started with 1.5 turns as you. Now I'm at 2.5 turns, so keep at it. Also, I believe this is fastest way to increase flaccid size. I do a variation on the exercise. I twist it then wrap it over one of my wrists and do an A-stretch. Skin burn is something that will happen whenever we push the margins of our ability but it does need to happen to make room for gains. Take your time and ease into this exercise and as things loosen up you can bundle more and stretch with more force without pain.
