Wow "round two" I haven't had a round 2 in a loooong time. I've been having trouble with the 2nd day lately so a round 2 would be great. My biggest concern was that it would make me completely hard and be able to maintain that erection. Me and my wife do alot and change positions alot during sex and with all that I've had trouble with maintaining an erection so I'm hoping this will help.

Ok guys I need to talk seriously for a minute. I need some help, guidance, understanding and advice.
I've really been struggling as of late with hanging. Things have just not felt right for awhile. I've been struggling to get thru my sessions. I've tried to drop just a little weight but it hasn't helped. I switched to using the pulley system to give a break from hanging SD but that hasn't helped. Unless my dick is either hanging, in my VLC or in a wrap, it's draws up and doesn't hang like it did when I first started hanging. My EQ has been shit for awhile as well.
So my question is this, how many have had to step back, lower their weight significantly and start, not necessarily over, just lower than they were at? If not than what do you think is going on? I haven't changed a thing since I got to the higher weight but right now I just can't hang that high of weight. Is this a common thing or at least has happened before. Do I need to take of completely for a week or two or just drop my weight and rebuild back up my weight.
Help me guys to figure this out.
 
I have not personally had this issue, but everyone is different. You might need 2-3 days off.
 
This morning I dropped to 19.5 lbs and hung 3 sets 15 min each. Today that weight felt like a good weight. I felt as though I got a good stretch but I was able to complete my sets without having to grit my teeth and sweat to get it done. I'm going to start at this weight for now and see how things go and move up slower than I did before. Over eagerness can be a killer and I'm afraid that's what I was....over eager.
 
Hey IVEADREAM. I strongly advise you listen to your penis bro. If hanging at that weight is causing you problems then lower the weight to wear your penis is getting a good hard stretch but not to the point to where you are gritting your teeth. I used to not listen to my penis in an attempt to hang as much weight as possible and I would always get injured from it. Progressive overload is important but listening to your penis's is way more important.

Thanks. Everything here is exactly what I was thinking. Like I said I was just to eager to get to that higher weight thinking that's where I was going to get my gains and wasn't taking the time to allow my penis to adjust. It held up for awhile but it finally gave out. I think I'll be better off in the long run by dropping my weight and then slowly work back up. Some of us have to learn the hard way.

Another way you can look at this is just to ride the fatigue. You 're struggling to hang the poundages you're used to because of accumulated fatigue. This is a good thing because this means you 're effectively breaking down the connective tissues of the penis weakening it's structure. Thus the reason for the need to lessen the weight. Just keep riding the fatigue on a daily basis and use less weight as more fatigue sets in. Size gains should soon follow.

Exactly! There is NO BETTER TIME to exercise length than when you are in the state of fatigue.

Thanks. I'll definitely keep pushing myself but I'm going to do it a slower (smarter) rate. I took a couple days off to regroup and now back at it. Going for that final push before my first official measuring day. Hoping to see some gains. I think I need to see some to get me ready for the next leg of my journey.
 
Hey Iveadream. I have about a combined year and a half experience with hanging. I have done both the hardcore hanging method where you only do one set but make it as heavy as possible and I have also done hanging where my goal is to hang at least two hours a day. I have gone as high as around 25 lbs of weight. I have also done sets that are as short as 20 minutes (the recommended set time) all the way to doing sets that are 1 and a half hours straight without stopping at all (that is with a compression hanger much like yours, not a vacuum hanger)

I say all that to say I have a decent amount of experience with hanging. The reason I am writing on your thread is that what you are experiencing is EXACTLY what happened to me. One day, after hanging for a consecutive 8 months I went ahead and did 2 hours of hanging. That night I met up with a girl I was seeing and we were about to have sex for the first time and I couldn't keep an erection for more than 5 seconds at a time. Needless to say I didn't end up having sex that night. After that I quit hanging for about half a year, and it took me a couple of months before my penis started getting decent quality erections again. In that time period I lost the inch I had gained.

My advice to you is this. Either discontinue hanging or add an extensive jelqing routine to what you are already doing. Lucky for me my penis has recovered now after a while, but I have read that erection problems like those you are experiencing and like I did are early warning signs that you are permanently damaging your penis.

If you want to continue, however, I think the only possible solution is to add jelqing to your routine because jelqing will stimulate blood flow and lead to increased erection quality.

Just my two cents, good luck.
 
Again, when hanging the penis goes through phases where the nerves have to catch up with the new length. During this time, erection quality can fluctuate.

Thanks for your advice and sharing your experience. I'll be sure to keep it in mind. What I think I've done right now is I got too eager to hang a higher weight than what my penis could handle. I don't think I let it have the proper time to build up to the heavier weight. I have dropped my weight back down and as a result my EQ has started to come back. I'm waking up again in the middle of the night with hard ons, I actually had sex last night and kept an erection thru out the whole session and even had a hanging session yesterday morning.

With the quick return of my EQ it confirms, to me anyway, that I just over did it. I needed to listen to my penis better and not try to do more than what it was ready for just to get to a heavier weight . I realize hanging is a dangerous exercise and should be respected as such. With that being said so many others have had real success with hanging and mostly so have I so far and not to sound like a broken record but I just got to eager . Again thank you for your advice and sharing your experience. I hope you haven't quit doing PE and hope you get to your goals.

Looks kinda of monotonous don't it but it's a good thing. I'm able to get thru my sets, have the good soreness thru out the day, everything is functioning like it should so everything is good.
I need to quit reading some posts about those not having success with hanging cause it's kinda of discouraging. Also I'm wondering if what I'm doing is enough and realizing I don't have time to do much else.

Once shipped it comes pretty quickly. I always order 2 weeks in advance as it usually takes, at the longest, 2 weeks. The quality is out of this world and you can actually talk to someone on the phone!
