Yea the get started letter that came with my hanger made it clear a guy named Ben owns Malehanger and his business partner Pete sells his Thickerman device. They're both nice guys from my interactions with them.

Ben is a good guy, even though we have had some falling outs he is a decent guy.

Yes, new and improved. No discounts though, we are still trying to recoup the investment money. I didn't pay for my new upgrade. Not even shipping. So I'm definitely better off.
 
Did you get the return/discount since it broke or as part of someone promoting their product? Wasn't sure after 7months if there was any warranty or what not.

I just emailed Ben that my hanger broke and he said the new version was almost out anyway and he would just send me the new improved version. From the FAQ on his site:

"Each Malehanger device is guaranteed to be of good quality and to function as designed. If one is broken somehow during shipment, I send a replacement. I support each of my customers like I would a good friend."
I'd say he does indeed!

So I went ahead and did my hanging early. I was partly excited to try my new hanger. It IS more comfy than the other one by a long shot. I backed down to 20 lbs just to be safe after not hanging for a bit.

Yeah, because of his voice. Like, I watched his review of bib's hanger, and then when I was watching male hanger presentation I was like: I know this voice...where did I heard/saw this guy before...where, where. Then, bam! Checked the bib's vid again and there was he. lol
 
Things are feeling great so far with this new hanger! Upped weight to 22.5lb.
