since using a penis pump my erections have been weaker, like the hardness isn't there. I mean it still gets hard, just not as firm as before (basically im talking about my eq).

What can i do to help it? i have stopped using the pump for about 4 weeks, and my erections are starting to come back, its just the erection quality isn't like before. Is there anything i can do to make it go back to before, besides just rest?

Also i am 19 and i have noticed im not getting morning wood like before...
any advice guys?

Two things you can do for yourself is to Jelq and do pC squeezes. I'm also a pumper and combine these three items in a wonderful combination. After just a few days of doing PC clamps (squeezes) and jelqing your morning woods are going to go through the roof. There's all the details you need to doing these exercises here in this forum. Use the search feature and learn all you can and then implement what you've learned.

alright sounds good man, ill start doing that. Do you think i should try any supps i.e. tribulus/maca just to get more frequent erections and such? anyone else have any advice?
 
Supplements are not required - unless your doctor subscribed them. Do the jelqs and PC exercises where the PC exercises are the most beneficial to your "woods". You won't believe the difference!
 
L-citrulline is a great EQ enhancer too. There's a thread about it in the main forum. I'd recommend the jelqing and PC workout too for sure.

alright cool yeah ill most likely just work on the jelqing and pc squeezes for a while and if i dont notice any improvements then ill try the l-citrulline to help out my erections

alright so after reading up a bit, this is what i will be doing (which i started doing yesterday)

- 100 jelqs (4 times a week, every week i will increase by 50 jelqs)

now my question is the pc squeezes
should i do continuous contraction and releasing of it or should i hold it for 5 seconds then release?
 
well the past 2 nights ive woken up around 2-3am and had a raging hardon lol something i havent had in a while, but i havent had any wood in the morning :-/....

also it still seems like its hard for me to get a full on erection like the ones ive had the past 2 nights, like i need to really stimulate it to achieve that erection level when i want to jelp/masturbate...question should i hold off masturbating for a while until my erections come back normally?

anyone have any feedback/answers to my questions?
 
so its been about 6 months since my last post. Basically the situation is the same, after my last update, i decided to not jelq as it may fatigue my penis (which wouldn't be good since it already feels weak).

I still have the weak feeling and difficulty getting erections and have not had any morning erection since like before my injury. When i do get an erection its either when I try to masturbate or when i start fooling around with the gf and the erection is pretty weak. Also with masturbation it takes forever to even get a manageable erection which makes it frustrating because it doesn't get hard and feels pathetic ejaculating with a semi.

I saw a doctor he told me everything seemed fine, urologist said the same thing. I also got my hormone levels checked and everything was perfect.

Both docs are saying my issue may be more psychological than anything, so I am going to see a psychologist who specializes in sexual health/ed problems. Honestly I don't think its psychological but more physical, but then again it can be a combination of both since i feel that my mind-penis/erection connection is non-existant.

I also wanted to say that for about the past month I had been doing 45 seconds super cold water on my penis and then 45 seconds hot water on it. I do it about 5-8 times. Last week by doing this it gave me a rock hard erection to the point of throbbing which i used to experience all the time before the injury, I experience these erections twice and had a plump flaccid. Needless to say I had a sex romp with the gf ;), probably the best sex we've had in the longest time. :cool:

But this week nothing similar has happened, so basically last week my confidence was super, i was feeling good and now that I went back to weak/no erections my confidence in my erections disappeared again :-/.

Has anyone seen a sexual health psychologist and benefited from it?

I am thinking to stop masturbation for 1 or 2 weeks and after that 2nd week I will begin jelqs to get some daily/frequent blood flow into my penis because I have absolutely no spontaneous erections or nocturnal/morning erections.
Does that sound smart?
Or can it be detrimental in the way that it will weaken my penis more by fatiguing it?
Also you know when you do a kegel your penis "jumps" up? well ever since my injury the "jump" doesn't happen any more. Its as if the penis feels too heavy to make it "jump". Has anyone ever experienced this?

Not sure if this should be moved to the booboo/injury section.

I hope you guys can reply/answer my post/questions, I am also interested in what DLD has to say.

I will keep this thread updated as my penile recovery goes on.

A variation of quick and longer squeezes are best. Something that looks like this is best but remember you can do these anywhere, anytime.


100 quick Kegel squeezes

50 of the following:
Squeeze your PC muscle as hard as you can, hold for 5 seconds then slowly release for 2 seconds. When you have finished the 50 your PC muscle will be screaming. This is a good sign. Now to finish the exercise start squeezing and hold for 1 minute, if you get tired squeeze harder until the minute is complete.
 
I would agree that this is psychological just based on averages. True ED, from a medical standpoint, is very rare (95% of ED is mental). You have seen the doctor, you have pondered this quite a bit and it may be time to let it go and start working on new ways of thinking. To get out of a metal mind-fuck you need to change the way you think. For instance if you are getting a weak erection just accept it, don't read into it, don't try to solve it, just sit with it and think, this is temporary and start to imagine yourself with massive, hard erection. Look at your penis and pretend it is hard as diamonds, keep pretending, keep imagining and soon enough this will be what happens.

As hard as it is to accept, as hard as it is to believe, you have done this to yourself through thought and the best way to change this is through thought. We get what we think about, good or bad. And remember, it may seem like I am being hard on you but I am only trying to get you to correct this.

k cool, what about jelqs? Do you think it would be beneficial in the sense of getting fresh blood flowing since im not getting night erections?

Yeah I agree, the power of the mind is a powerful thing. I just have to stay positive on it. thanks man.

I have another question for anyone who has had an injury. I forgot to mention that there is a small lump/bump the size of a rice grain (maybe a little smaller) but it is only noticeable/felt when I am erect. Does anyone know what this can be? Im thinking it maybe a thrombosed vein. Is there a way to fix/get rid of it?

Sounds like minor thrombosis, check out THROMBOSIS TREATMENT
 
Got an app with the psych next month so I'll keep y'all posted with that.

Also after further reading researching, i think i may have thrombosis (clot) of a penile lymphatic vessel, well according to this link-

Since the person answering said it feels like a beaded tissue which seems like the same as when I said it felt like a grain of rice (more like half of it). Only thing is it seems to never go away, I've had it for a while now.

wow almost a year since I made this thread! Well I haven't improved much, night/morning erections only occur once in a while but even when they do occur i think its because my bladder is full. Besides that those erections aren't as hard as pre-injury. i would say at best 50-60%.

I ended up no going to that psych app, I should have but I just ended up not doing it.

What I have started doing is a linear newbie routine. Just finishing my first week, 2 days on & 1 off. I do feel better since I started jelqing again, this time I'll make sure to make it consistant.

I have noticed most of the times if I do get an erection, it is the same as my night/morning hard ons, its only with a full bladder lol.
I don't really get any throbbing erections or spontenous erections. It sucks because a year and a half a go my libido and everything was off the charts nuts!!! and now its wack. :(, like I don't even try to have sex because I think my unit won't fill up like before.

Also when I want to jerk it, it takes a lot of stimulation to get a decent erection, I have noticed if do edging my erections are back to "pre-injury" status, they actually throb and are hard as ever. Only thing it is difficult maintaining that state without going over board and actually cumming.

Another thing to note is that I do get erections (about 60-75% quality) after a heavy make out session. After that then I can have sex moderately enjoyable. But If its just jumping straight to sex, no sir lol. Or if the girl wants to jerk me off or something, not gonna happen. its like I need that foreplay or something.

It sucks though because I remember before I would be hard as a rock just sitting next to a girl I was attracted to, same goes if a girl was trying to feel up on it or wanting to see it. Any scenario like that would instantly turn me on, but now NOTHING!

Besides doing the jelqing routine, I will try to post here daily with updates and I am also going to stop masturbating. Maybe that will help with recovery and what not. I usually do it every few days (before my injury it was like everyday). Its not as enjoyable doing it anymore, I think the main reason I do it is to make sure my penis can at least achieve an erection of some sort (weak or strong). But I am just going to cut it out, I never cut masturbation out so maybe that affected recovery. So I will try to go a month or so without it.

After searching around I am surprised I can't find anyone else with the same issue/problem as me. Interesting....

The jelq session wasnt too great, i ended up going flaccid a few times. Before my injury when I would jelq this as never a problem, it would get harder and bigger...

This day was supposed to be another jelq session but I decided to take it off. Instead of 2 on, 1 off. I will be doing 1 on , 1 off. I decided if I don't wake up with morning erections of any sort it may be a sign that its a tad fatigued. So this morning there was nothing so took it off.

Woke up with a decent boner, even though I think I had it because my bladder was full. But whatever, any bloodflow is good bloodflow :) So Today I had a jelq session, I think it went great. I started out with 60-75% erection. Reminded me of when before I had my injury :cool:, i didn't get flaccid while doing it. Heck it got harder and I could see my glans getting bigger! So positive day today. Tomorrow will probably be an off day depending my morning erections.
What I did -
50 jelqs + 5 min warm up & warm down

I have also been doing kegels, weighted kegels and have done edging (which is when my erections get as hard as the "good ol days")

been doing jelqs with an 1 on 1 off type of routine. Damn its already beeen a month, time flies. Well im up to 100 jelqs now. Erections are so so right now, i did have a crazy night/morning erection 3 days ago. But since then nothing to report. I am going to see a sexual health therapist which was recommended by my doc. I was supposed to go a while back but was busy with a lot of things, but later this week I am going to see the therapist. Will report back if i found it beneficial talking with him about the ed and whatnot.
