Topical creams don't help everyone (me included) and I've never talked to a guy who were cut as an adult who regrets having it done.

Then again I understand that there's a big difference (both mental and physical) between people that have been cut as infants and people who have done it when adult.

I did not intend the pictures to be gross out shots. There is a misconception here in the United States that the foreskin is "just a little flap of skin". I just wanted the fellows here on MOS to understand how much skin is actually lost to circumcision.

More skin = more dick. I think that's pretty simple.

I'm sorry the topical creams did not help you, but I would warrant that most of the men who were circumcised as adults did so because of medical reasons. Of course they would not regret having some defect corrected or removed.

I do not have a problem with adults who choose to have a circumcision. It is, after all, a personal choice. I do have a problem with the misconceptions that are perpetuated here in the United States by the medical establisHydromaxent to keep this profitable industry rolling. Men should have a full understanding what they are giving up. They often do not. And when a child is circumcised, there is no choice at all involved-- which, in my opinion, is criminal.

If you have a circumcision fetish and want to chop yourself up, have at it. In Sweden, the circumcision rate is less than 10%, I believe, so being circumcised would make you noteworthy and unique among your population. If you truly enjoy being circumcised, I am glad for you and hope you do not develop any of the common problems of being circumcised: scarring, keratinization of the glans, erectile dysfunction from improper blood flow, etc.

But a circumcised penis is not natural and healthier, which is the perpetuated myth here in the US. It is a penis that has been cut up for cosmetic reasons.

I'm circumcised and would rather not be. I figure I'm missing something around 20-30 square inches of penis skin due to being butchered as a baby.

I think uncut dicks look better. There is a myth that uncut cocks are not as clean as cut cocks, but it is just that...a myth. My opinion on that myth is that there is such a thing as wash cloths and indoor running water. Yes, that is an adult male being circumcised. At least, with an adult, the doc has an idea how much he can take off. With a baby, it is just a guessing game. Will the child be big when he matures, average, small? How much skin will he need to fully accomodate his penis at puberty? The guessing game is the reason some men are fine and some, like myself, had problems with their circumcision. I was left with enough skin to accomodate a 5 1/2 inch average penis at puberty. What I actually would have developed was a large 7 1/2 inch penis. That is the reason I shot from 5 1/2 to 7 1/2 so quickly when I started doing foreskin restoration and Penis Enlargement. I finally had the skin I needed to accomodate my cock. Don't believe me...? Oh, well...

You are correct in saying that a circumcised penis is less sensitive. If you like it that way, then I guess that's great for you. I am very sexually active and the more sensitive the better. I am and have always been a hedonistic person.

Once your glans is kept protected by the foreskin, and the callous sloughs away, it is more sensitive...but it certainly doesn't hurt to be touched! That is a misconception. The difference is more like wearing gloves. A penis with a calloused glans is like your hands with gloves on them. After the glans dekeratinizes, it is like the gloves have been removed. You can feel so much more with your fingertips, but it does not hurt to simply touch things. You just experience the sensations more finely.

I am nowhere near finished restoring. I have been doing it for five months now and have only succeeded in releasing about two inches of cock that was being held inside by the scarring and lack of skin. My penis still looks totally circumcised, it is just bigger and fatter and has lost some of its curve. I get a little bit of spontaneous coverage now and then when flaccid, but erect, the skin is still somewhat tight and I figure I will get some more quick gains until I get to the size that I should have always been genetically.

The corpus spongiosum and glans are somewhat the same structure. The corpus spongiosum is the ridge that runs up the bottom side of the penis to the head and feeds blood to the glans. By constricting and milking this part of the penis, you can make the head swell up larger than normal. If you do it enough, you can make it get permanently bigger. The head of my penis was always somewhat big, but I have developed it further through Penis Enlargement.

I'm curious about something, cyclops. I'm not being testy either, just wondering. When you were circumcised, were you left with your frenelum? The frenelum is the sensitive structure descending from the bottom side of the glans which keeps the foreskin covering the head. It has been likened to the female clitoris, because of its sensitivity. It is usually removed, which robs men of alot of sensation. I have kind of been noticing that the men who are uninterested in FR are either 1) hung like horses and/or 2) still possessed of their fren or most of it.

Also, sorry about the idiot thing. Alot of restorers get a little over-enthusiastic about it. There is a good reason for it-- we have bigger, more sensitive dicks! I am guilty of it myself. I think that's what it is! The frenelum is highly sensitive to sexual stimulation. Most men who are tightly circumcised have lost that structure, and thus have to rely on the glans for most of their sensation. When it becomes calloused over time, there goes their sensitivity. All that's left is brute force and dirty thoughts. Then, after restoring for a while, when that callous sheds and they finally begin to feel REAL pleasure, it just totally blows their mind. It's so sad I almost cry. I hope you appreciate what you, by a stroke of luck, were left with...and next time you hear one of us gushing about having a strong orgasm and preaching FR, just give us some support. We lost something very vital.

I personally have a small amount of frenelum left. It is all chopped up and scarred, but I do have some sensation there...about enough to know what I am missing. I am hoping and praying that FR with expand this tissue and restore it a little more as well.

and circ rate is declining everywhere, intrnational figures frm the WHO (world healh organisation) have circ as 20% or there abouts of the world population..so 8 out of 10 guys are intact in the world, im not goping o get too deep into this but believe me i could. if your circ and happy ood for you, but theres no ecuse for doing it to a child unless medically unavoidable.

also remember that circ was and still is covered by general insurance in the usa so thats an extra 1-200$ for each circ they do, its like commission..if yu are aware of the situation you will see where circ is now requird to be paid for privately the rate has actually droppe significantly..a good step in the right direction.
