"Penis Envy" is only a theory, it's more of a metaphor because the penis represents the male and his advantages for having one. It's not really they want a penis, just the same advantages of those who have one. It's like going to a nightclub and it's "Ladies Night", all ladies get in free, or get free drinks, and the men have to pay for everything. The ladies have an advantage because they possession a vagina and men don't.
Now, there are exceptions, some individuals obsess on the fixation of having the body part(s), which is more of a mental health issue not an envy issue for it's advantages of having it.

I think that is more her own insecurity, and inadequacy rather then the guy having the bigger dick. She has to take on some responsibility for her own feelings thoughts, and emotions.

A woman like that, would start to think those thoughts eventually through other manifestations of the mans behavior me thinks.

True thats the way it works. Same way it work for us as guys. Controlling possessive jealous guys are nothing more than severely insecure with low self esteem.

What’s crazy is probably 99% of the time the jealousy or envy we feel or our partner feels is totally irrational. Many times we project our own insecurities on to others. We try to be a mind reader is only to find out that we were so off-base. I’ve learned to ask questions before I make any type of judgment because I know I cannot know what they’re thinking.
