Just read your situation in the other thread. I hope this hanger truly helps you. Be prepared for a weight jump when you get it. Once that wrap is down and your settings are good on the hanger, I think you'll be feeling all kinds of soreness. Good luck brother.

Thanks brother, that's what I'm hoping. I feel like hanging is going to be the best way for me to achieve my goal and I have really been frustrated lately because I have not been able to put a 100% in to it. I have been hanging though. Just nothing much to write about. Mostly been messing with different wrapping techniques and set ups and that's why I decided to give the hanger a try and I'm not sure if you read the deal SWM offered me but it's a win win for me so I couldn't pass it up. Can't wait to get it and get back into hanging a 100%. So don't worry, I'm not giving up.

Just remembered, congratulations on reaching a personal best for you. Keep it up. I'll be on your heels before to long. :)

I'll need that extra weight when I'm hanging from the ceiling lol.
I definitely looked in to the hanger, I just figured I have enough "tools" for myself. Let me know how it goes, I'm still considering it lol. Never enough I guess.

No you can never have enough "tools". I've done a lot of construction work and home remodeling and my wife gets aggravated when I tell her I have to get a different tool to do whatever project I'm doing and she says "don't you have enough tools" I tell her that certain jobs require specific tools and in order for me to complete the job I need that tool. I think PE "tools" are the same way. To do a certain thing you need a specific tool to be able to complete the job. You might be able to do it another way but if you have the right tool it's a helluva lot easier and quicker.

Now this is great advice. In anything in life, especially PE, sometimes, when things are not going the way we want, it makes sense to take a break and reset your thinking. It is never a good idea to train when frustrated, or try to learn something but it is not going the way it should. It is best to get away, breathe, take time to refocus and calm down then come at it with a new perspective. I know it is hard to do and easy to say but it is the smartest thing you can do when your are becoming frustrated.
 
Just wanted to let you all know I'm still here, just waiting on my new "tool" to arrive. According to the tracking number it's supposed to be here tomorrow (Sat).
I have been doing some hanging every morning with the pulley system as I am able to tolerate it more. I can't wait for it to arrive so I can get back to my full routine. I'm hoping this will be the key I'm looking for. I'll post more as I get back at it.

Got my hanger 2 Saturday. For the most part it's a very nice piece of equipment. I like how it envelopes the entire shaft basically and the simplicity of putting it on and taking it off. The only complaint, if I had any, would be the screws on the bottom stick out a little and if I don't stand in a wider stance than normal they kinda poke on my inner thigh. It's not that big of a deal and I think I know what to do to fix it. All in all a nice addition to my arsenal. I'm not going to scream I love it just yet cause I'm still working with it but so far things are good.
I do have a question or two so let's get started.
Well me first start by saying that I am wrapping it in accordance to SWM instructions with a soft cloth and a self adhering wrap. The first time I wrapped with it I wrapped myself just like SWM does in his video. No stretching myself out just flaccid hang wrap ,when I'm warm I have about a 5 to 5 1/2 inch hang so it was easy to wrap that way. Well then came the problem again, all that damn extra skin. It bundles up at the glands and rolls over. Also with it doing that as I was hanging it felt like it was pulling even more skin down from the base and pubic area.
So I took it off and decided to try something else. I used the method of putting a string around the head to hold myself extended a very little bit and with one hand I pulled all the extra skin I could towards my base and was able to wrap with my other hand. Then I put on the hanger 2 and as I was tightening it down I kept pulling as much skin as I could towards my base until it wouldn't go back up anymore. This minimized the amount of skin bunching up at the glands while hanging,it also allowed for more hang on the shaft and ligs without the pull on the skin. This was MUCH better.
Ok now my first question. Even after eliminating most of the bunched up skin I still have some skin bunched up, which I believe I'm supposed to to create a shoulder for the hanger to sit on while hanging Correct?
Ok if that is correct, that extra skin and my glans get to be a pretty dark purple while I hang and oddly it's not really cold just purple which I'm sure it's from the pressure of it hanging but is this a normal affect? It comes right back to normal color when I take it off but is it ok for it to turn that color? I only hang 15 min sets.

Today hung 3 sets 15 min each at 15lbs (yeah I dropped weight but I thought with a new device it was a smart thing to do til I see what my limits are with it).
 
Basically, you are trying to get the anchor on the internals of the penis. You should be able to get it to anchor securely enough that it doesn't move once tight, no matter how hard you pull on it. After hanging a few minutes, reach down and tighten more.
On the bottom bolts, they are already as short as is practical while allowing most men room to fit. They were actually longer with the old design.
Dark glans is normal as long as you have sensation during your sets. 15-20 minutes is the limit per set. Massage after each set. You can stay wrapped. Don't expect to get everything 100% in a few days. Sounds like you are off to a good start.
 
I just rewatched your video on applying the hanger on the hanger site and from what I can tell from watching you I'm applying it correctly. What I was talking about as far as the extra skin is exactly what yours does after you tighten it down and pull on the hanger, your skin kinda rolls over your glans a little just like mine does and that's the part I was talking about that turns a little purple while hanging and I wanted to make sure that was ok. I'd be curious to see what yours looks like immediately after you hang and before you take the hanger off. Just to compare to what mine looks like. (New video idea?) But as far as everything else it's pretty much the same.
As far as the screws are I understand and like I said it's no big deal and I've already got a fix for it. The LM came with little rubber pieces to go on the end of screws so I'm going to use them on the this.
You said I can stay wrapped during sets, does that also mean I can leave the hanger on as well or should I take it off or at least loosen it up a little?
 
You should take your hanger off between sets. You can stay wrapped and massage between sets. My penis is a little red after I hang.

Thanks. Right now things are going better with this hanger so far. I still need to "tidy up" my wrapping a little but it's definitely better. I'm only hanging with 15lbs right now but with this wrapping technique and hanger it actually feels like I'm getting more of a pull on my shaft and ligs then my previous wrap. I think the way I was wrapping was only allowing most of the pull to be on my ligs than my shaft which I think you need both. Plus the hanger doesn't have that forward bite which has been better in my opinion. Only time will tell. I'll be curious to see how everything feels when I get back up to the 22 lbs I was at cause that's when I started having the most trouble with my wrap and LM.

Update from this morning;
I hung 3 sets 15 min each at 15lbs. A good morning of hanging. Felt good.

Good. You'll for sure pass 22lbs in no time. Your more comfortable and confident, so that'll boost things greatly.
 
Make sure you look into and apply Dave's Technique. Also you might consider some fractional weight plates. They are in 1/4lb, 1/2lb, 3/4lb, and 1lb increments.

Yeah I think those will be my next purchase. Probably after the first of the year.

Hung 3 sets of 15 min each with 15lbs. So far still feeling pretty good. With this wrapping technique I definitely get more of a stretch on my shaft along with the ligs.

I'm going to pat myself on the back. This was one of my days I have to leave early for my job so I got up at 4 a.m so I had enough time to get in all 3 sets in. I am so determined to reach my goal.
 
If you get to close to his chin you'll end up special hahahaha.
