I really dont want to make it seem like im complaining but..a couple days back i posted a prob with me not being able to gain good girth. Its still not working out too good for me. I mean the only thing i dont like is that my ligs are still sore as ass after im done a girth routine..even worse now then before! Ive been doing dld bends and squash jelqs WITH a clamp on and that clamp really seems to be doing a number on my ligs man ( and lots of ulis ;)). I was thinking maybe i was clamping too tight? Ok but look at some of these stats: when im finished my girth routine i have about +0.6" girth so i must be doing something right?

All i know is that i would like to have a serious girth workout without having my damn ligs get sore. One thing that has been stopping me from having better girth routines is fluid building. I kind of use too much fluid build up as a marker to tell me when im done my routine but i honestly think i can have longer better routines. Is there also a way to reduce fluid buildup when working out? :( :( thank you ahead of time for your contribution.
 
I notice if I warm up a little bit beforehand fluid buildup is diminished. Also with girth, don't get discouraged with little/no gains! I know how that goes!! Girth is one of those things that you have to do with your head down for months, and then measure. In the process it tends to fluctuate a lot. But the fact that you're seeing expansion is good! Keep trying to push past it and you will see gains, but just don't measure a lot, stay consistent, and be ready for the long term. Good luck!
 
Clamping seems to build a lot of fluid for me too. Here is what I do. Keep your clamp sessions short and intense, like 5 to 10 minutes, and do multiple sets of those. In between sets, to help with the fluid build up, edge for like 5 minutes or so. In case you don't know, to "edge" is to jerk of without cumming. Oh, and also for girth gains you have to be VERY consistent. I would advise working out at least 6 out of 7 days of the week.
 
thanks a lot cybershot, that has calmed me down a bit hehe. Ive just been up tight about it lately cuz i overheard numerous people say "give up Girth for Length" and i dont really want to focus on legth right now but it sure feels like it...and i woudl HATE to give up more girth for length... (>_<; ) but thx again for encouragement.
 
i do try but my ligs cant handle more then 2 days in a row of clamping maybe 3. >_<; do they seem weak?
 
I have never heard that someone's ligs get sore due to girth work, are you sure this is not due to the length portion of your routine?
 
Yea I've never heard of sore ligs from girth work either. I used to get fluid build up from clamping, but I dont get it much anymore. It's because I have shaved my sets down to only five minutes clamped at a time. I still get great results from the clamp work too. I think the less time you have all that pressure on the skin, the less likely the fluid build up is to occur.

This is something that really interests me, short clamped sessions. The longer session always a.) scare me because of tissue damage and b.) I can't get it out of my head that the longer session cause serious discoloration. I would be interested in trying short sessions to see their effectiveness.
 
I know exactly what you are talking about Egghed - with the ligs. I had this same problem, and I finally figured out it was from doing Extreme Ulis, and when I pulled my squeeze hand forward up the shaft my ligs were also getting hit hard, via the angle. Take a look at some of the exercises you are doing to determine if one of them may be inadvertantly targeting your ligs.

Also, if there is anyone in the world who has battled with fluid buildup it's me. I've got a few tips:

*If you clamp, go in shorter sets with massaging or edging in between.
*Edge throughout your set - there's no need to rush. It keeps a good erection level and breaks down fluid really well. Edge for 10-15 minutes AFTER your set as well. (If you can't maintain an erection you have done too much work.)
*Isolate the manuevers that cause fluid buildup. For myself, it happens most often when I cable clamp or manually clamp the base and is greatly increased when I add pressure on the glans against the shaft (Iso Comp Squeeze, for example.) Find what does it for you, and work around it.
*If you clamp, don't leave it on longer than you have to to get the work done.
*Hot wrap before, during, and after sets.

Also, as far as gaining girth... I tend to disagree with philadelph. More and more people are starting to adapt a routine with more rest days after long stints of hardcore girth training. Complaints ranged from not making much in the way of gains to erection difficulty. These factors increase exponentially with clamping. If you like clamping, go for it - but be prepared to take off days. Try a 3 on 1 off for starters. AND FOR GOD'S SAKE MAN, JELQ! It will save your penis.

I very much agree with this statement. Im a big fan of clamping, but I have found if you jelq before and after clamping the fluid build up is reduced and your penis feels healthier.
 
I've found out its imperative to jelq inbetween clamping sets. start off w/ 5 mins jelqing, 15 mins clamping, 5 mins jelqing, 15 mins clamping.....and so on. Its extremely helpful, and keeps circulation going well.

anything and everything i use is homemade :p. i Like it better that way, i like to build things that way it fits me best. Buts it has now been about a week and i found one of my main probs. You guys are Great!!! My girth sessions were a bit too long and dragged out. Now they are short snappy and hardcore! ive been leaving clamp on too long aswell. I finally know what its like to get a pump NOT from fuild build up ^^ thank you thank you thank you.
 
I basically do 10 minutes of jelqing, then 5 minutes of clamping, and then back to jelqing for another 10, then 5 of clamping, and just keep doing that for as long as time allows.

For those who can't get cable clamps, I don't have them either. I use a piece of nylon. what i do is loop it around the base and tie it at the bottom side, getting it nice and snug, and then looping it around again and tying it at the top side, then loop around one more time, and tie at the bottom side again. Since nylon stretches, and since when you tie it, it might not stay tight. But if you do it the way I described above, it will stay nice and tight.
 
wow good idea thedash...i really like that idea of doing jelqing after every set. Cuz i notice 85-90% of the water build up goes Down after Jelqing. I gotta say this again..Thanks man :D

Aren't the chances of discoloration greater the longer you clamp? Or is this just a temporary thing?

Yeah the thought of any more discolouration really worries me. I probably wouldnt mind so much if it was uniformly distributed. I had to tell this girl I got it from coming of my motorbike!! Sheesh the things I do for a bigger dick! This is the reason I have been skirting around clamping for so long <:(

I had some discoloration in my first year, year and a half but once I switched to dry girth work it all but faded. I am not sure if clamping for long periods does cause discoloration but sometimes, from pictures I have seen, it looks this way.
 
neosporin has really helped me with my discoloration that i got from dry jeqing.i've been clamping for 20-25 min sessions and haven't gotten any discoloration from it.i dont understand why u guys are afraid of clamping? someone please fill me in.
